Not great
Does not work as good as the photo. Didn’t color brown hair very well and had to take the chalk out of the comb. The plastic comb actually made it harder to use.

Vibrant colour and easy to wash out
I brought these for my 10 year old daughter to try as she had a fancy dress party this weekend. Unlike spray hair dyes that I’ve previously used on her hair these were mess free and so easy to use that I let my daughter loose on them to do her own hair which she loved. She is very fair so the colour was quite vibrant. She did get some on her skin which came off really easy with a bit of simple eye make up remover. No running of colour like you get with the sprays. I was worried as to how easily it would come out but came out first wash. My daughter is very happy with these.

Very good for the price.
These are good temporary colours. Bright & good fun. Worth practicing a couple of times to get the hang of quick application. The combs are good through mid to long hair (do a small strand at a time & keep it away from the top of the comb which pops off to remove/replace the stick. It can catch the hair). Use the stick directly on the roots & then a regular comb to pull through. It can get sticky & a little clumpy if you put too much on but patiently combing through with a regular comb will solve that. Worth doing in the bathroom & with an old towel. There’s not a lot of mess & this makes it much easier to contain & clean. Washing out easily. Really like this product.

So Disappointing
Don’t waste your money and time on this product. My experience was bad from the beginning – in unwrapping the individual combs, the tops popped off, the color fell out, and when the caps were pushed back on, they did not stay, kept popping off throughout the coloring. I have light brown hair, but the colors barely showed, even on my gray. I had to use up nearly all of each color – my hair barely rests on my shoulders. Blobs of each color came off of the combs onto my countertop during application. I have very healthy hair, and even though I had washed, conditioned and thoroughly combed each section before applying color, LOTS of my hair ended up on each comb/color. When I was finished, my hair felt sticky and dirty, and the color was barely noticeable, even in the sunshine. My results were Nothing like the photos. This was a lot of wasted money and time for a one-time application that ended up very disappointing. I hope that others have a better experience than I have.

Most colors vibrant, pull hair after a little use.
My daughter loves these, but they’re not my favorite. They’re pretty waxy on the hair like a thick hair spray almost. You can’t easily brush through the hair after the color is applied, as with other more powdery products we’ve tried. The colors are pretty vibrant for the most part. They’re good for the price, but as you use the product and the block gets cut into a bit it does pull the hair a little. The little caps on the brushes also fall off easily so it’s easy for the blocks to fall out. Not as messy as other products. None of the negatives are a deal breaker, I’ll continue to use them up and would purchase again because they’re fun and well priced for what it is.

PERFECT for kids AND adults
I absolutely LOVE this product! My 5 year old cousin wanted to dye her hair so badly but i couldnt do that so this is a PERFECT alternative. Its not as bright as the photos and if u use too much in one spot it makes the hair a bit tangly but if used lightly, it creates the perfect highlights of color and looks amazing. Will definitely buy again!

So not sure if I was doing it wrong but it seemed like I had to brush it over and over again a lot. Also didn’t work on my kid hair that is about 5” long but worked on long hair and really short hair

Clumpy application
Bought this to put green streaks in my hair for cosplay. The color was waxy, sticky and left little clumps of color requiring smoothing in. Once applied, it brightened up a little but then it was immovable. You’d never get even near the smooth bright stylable color you see in the photo with this product. Glad it was inexpensive bc I couldn’t use it at all.

Works great
These work as intended. We had two kids that used them, one blond hair one brown hair. You obviously see it very well on the blond hair, not as well on the brown hair. You can still see it though. And they were both happy with the outcome.

Greasy hair, good pigment
Pigment is good but it’s oil based so it makes your hair super greasy. Washes out really easily though, even on blonde hair

Best temporary hair color
This hair chalk makes your hair a really bright color. The color shows up really good, if you pick a color that’s right for your hair. When I did the purple, people thought I dyed it. It is a lot of fun, use one color or all colors. Best temporary hair color we have used, the comb with color makes it so easy to use. You can use water to make it dark on hair also. Fun for dress up or everyday. Order it now.

The plastic their in is cheap and easy to break, so that’s what I did. Easy to clean, easy to use, bright vibrant color. Doesn’t work well on actual hair, but it gets the job done, great for shaved heads!
