Just got it and used it once. Will follow up if impressions change.This trimmer set is well thought out and built. Comparing with the market standard Panasonic ER-GB42-K, this Kensen falls into a next-gen premium class currently at $5 less than P. With generic USB charging, it will travel smaller, charge faster, run longer, and work while charging if it comes to that. P makes you carry it’s large proprietary wall charger.Perhaps, the big deal is that, with Kensan, you don’t get a bottle of mineral oil for the blades and don’t need it because of the better steel and advanced blade configuration they use. The sawtooth tips of upper and lower cutters on the Panasonic are aligned to create pinch points against any irregularities in your skin. The top cutter buzzes side to side in contact with skin. On the Kensan, the fixed lower teeth extend slightly past the top cutter to guard against “sawing” skin. Theoretically, that could mean it doesn’t cut as close, but once the Panasonic starts sawing, you’re not going be cutting close at all, anyway! Instead of oiling the blades, Kensan doesn’t even want users to monkey around trying to wipe or dry them out. Just air dry after water rinsing – a clear expression of the confidence they place in their blade steel selection. One use so far, no nipped skin. We’ll see how it goes.

It is too good but true
This is a great product. One of the best trimmers I’ve bought. It is gentle and cuts really well. Lightweight and not too big. I like that it has blades on both sides for versatility. Beware though it can cut even though it is gentle. I would not use it on areas that have extra skin that is also gentle (testicles). I found cuts though I didn’t feel it cut my skin. But this can safely cut anywhere on the body. Has different types of blades, easy to use and change. Guard is easy to adjust. I’m really happy with this and highly recommend. It cuts a really low stubble. If you don’t have a razor and/or need a quick cut this is a go to. Even for women I’d recommend. Also for men who have sensitive spot for beard, like under the chin, I could actually use this tool and not feel the pain of a steel blade. So many pros for the price.

Good Grooming Tool
I’ve gone through a handful of trimmers over the years, and most of them either lost power after a few months or felt cheap right out of the box. This one actually surprised me. The weight is balanced, it doesn’t feel flimsy in the hand, and the heads snap on without that wobbly looseness you sometimes get with cheaper sets. First thing I noticed was how quiet it runs compared to my old clipper. It’s not silent, but it’s low enough that you don’t feel like you’re running a lawn mower in the bathroom.I’ve used it on beard, chest, and even below the waist and it handled all of that without tugging. The waterproof claim holds up too. I rinsed the head under the tap a few times and it still runs like nothing happened. Battery life has been solid. I’ve gone a couple of weeks using it every other day and haven’t had to charge yet. The USB C charging is a nice touch because I can plug it into the same charger I use for my phone, no need to keep a special cord lying around.The comb attachments feel sturdier than I expected, though one of them was a bit tricky to line up the first time. Not a dealbreaker, but you notice it when you’re in a rush. Once it’s on, it stays put, so at least you’re not fighting with it mid trim. The blade seems sharp and hasn’t nicked me yet, which is a relief given how I’ve had bad experiences with other brands in that area.Packaging was straightforward, nothing over the top, but it came with everything neatly organized. If you want something that covers multiple jobs without cluttering your drawer with different tools, this does the job better than most I’ve tried. You can tell some thought went into the design instead of just rushing it out like the knockoff brands.

Trimmer is great. Guards are garbage.
Beard trimmer itself works great, and works for trimming medium to short sized beards. However, the beard guard accessories are garbage, so it basically negates the purpose of the trimmer. They break very easily at the connecting point that locks in the guard to the trimmer – even when clicking in and removing them exactly how the instructions suggest (which aren’t very clear to begin with).The company was gracious to send me a discount code for Amazon to get a new set altogether (since they did not have spare accessories to send). So I give Kenson credit for that, and the quality of the trimmer itself. But the new set they sent was just as defective with the beard guards. They broke upon first use.Do not buy this if you intend to use the guards.Update: Kensin reached out to offer a full refund for the inconvenience. I really do appreciate their customer service, and the trimmer itself. I just hope they upgrade their accessories and that the next model they develop attaches the guards from the side so that they just slide on and off with ease and don’t break.

rasoio comprato per mio figlio che ne è rimasto molto soddisfatto, ed è rimasto sorpreso che sia adatto per tutto il corpo comprese le aree sensibili, la delicatezza sula pelle e particolarmente importante per lui che ha la pelle molto sensibile, le lame sono arrotondate a forma lo rendono efficace ma delicato non ci sono astrappi o tagli sulla pelle, anche nelle zone più delicate, il design 2 in 1 con testina a T per i bordi o la barba e I-head per i peli più lunghi è anche una soluzione tecnica davvero smart ed è molto utile nella vita di tutti i giorni e combina fondamentalmente due dispositivi. Il rasoio è molto comodo da impugnare. Un enorme vantaggio è il grado di impermeabilità IPX6 completo, che lo rende facile da usare durante la rasatura sotto la doccia e poi semplicemente sciacquarlo sotto il rubinetto per la pulizia. L’autonomia dela batteria di circa un ora e mezza è più che sufficiente per l’uso quotidiano e si ricarica semplicemente tramite USB-C. I pettini regolabili a clip inclusi (per 1-10 mm e 3/6/9 mm) completano bene il set e rendono molto flessibile il taglio dei peli del petto o delle gambe.Posso dire che il rasoio è affidabile e sicuro in particolare per la zona genitale ma anche x tutto il corpo, rasa in modo delicato ma accuratamente, senza irritazioni. Nel complesso, comparando anche prezzo/qualità non ha nulla da invidiare ai concorrenti più blasonati e ben più costosi.

Adjustable Length Feature Broke After a Few Uses
This trimmer worked fine for the first few uses, but the adjustable length feature completely stopped working shortly after. The guard no longer raises or lowers, so now it only cuts at one fixed length. That basically defeats the entire purpose of buying a trimmer with 42 adjustable settings…The motor and display were decent at first, but the build quality clearly isn’t durable. If you actually like changing beard lengths or shaping your facial hair differently, this becomes useless once the adjustment mechanism breaks. Unless you want your face the exact same length 24/7, I would not recommend this product.

Better than my old favorite
I replaced a dead trimmer that I really liked but couldn’t find anywhere. This trimmer is very comfortable and the adjustments give you a lot of options. In many respects I like it more than my old trimmer. The only negative for me is that it is a little wider than me old one. However, I’m sure I will get used to it/

che ve devo di? partiamo dar fatto che io per i peli sur corpo so’ sempre stato una causa persa, na foresta vera. ho provato sto Kensen e m’ha sfoltito pure l’anima. la cosa fantastica è che c’ha le lame fatte apposta per non farti i taglietti nei punti delicati, se capimmo… quelli dove se sbagli rischi de cantà al coro della chiesa. lo puoi usà pure sotto la doccia perché è impermeabile, quindi accendi l’acqua, passi la macchinetta, e in cinque minuti hai svoltato e ripulito tutto senza fa’ er macello de peli per terra in bagno, solo attento a non otturà coi peli la dentro sennò già se sa. la batteria dura na cifra, ci fai tre passate totali prima de ricaricà. e la cosa migliore è che costa la metà dei rasoi de marca super blasonati, ma fa lo stesso identico lavoro. se volete passà da “orzo bimbo” a “liscio come l’olio” senza penà, questo è er ferro che ve serve.

Terrific NOT having to deal with a cord when cutting!!
This trimmer is GREAT! I cut my own hair with a wired trimmer and boy that was a pain! It’s a dream with this baby. Don’t have a cord getting in the way and caught on a knob or something. I’ve cut my hair about five times with this and it does a great job. I cut my hair really short and the guard has worked well. I haven’t even had to recharge this yet from my initial charge when I received it. It’s only down to around 60% after the five cuttings I’ve done. So a single charge has lasted pretty long for me. Easy to clean too. Having this really makes it a heck of a lot easier for me to cut my hair now!

Great! Some observations…
I love this thing! A few observations:* This comes with two heads. The fine one, T-shaped, intended for shaving and beard trimming, can be used with abandon, all but imposible to knick whatever skin it touches, with a guard or not.* The coarse one, I-shaped, is intended for use wherever on the body. You’re supposed to be able to use this without its guard too – just use a light touch they say. Wow, I almost immediately blooded my self. It was bad, three or four cuts all in a row. I think with the guard on, and those longer lengths, this would be fine. But if you want a shaven look…I just hope your skills are much better than mine. I just put this head in a drawer and started using the fine, T-shaped one for everything. That might not work out if your hair is really coarse, but for me it’s great!* This thing just goes and goes! Brand new I was able to use it for 18 days straight before charging.* For travel, this thing is very small, light and inexpensive. Using a USB-C connector you can just use whatever chargers and cables you have for your other USB-C devices. I might even get a second one I could just leave with my travel gear.* This also works well for trimming and shaping my beard. In all instances it works best dry and trimming/shaving against the grain.* Lastly, I’ve never been able to shave under my belt or where I sit. Trimming is OK. Shaven, the skin becomes irritated and gets angry red bumps. With this thing, with the guard off, I can get the hair so short it looks nonexistant but still have none of those problems.
