Yet another fantastically produced brush by Kent.
I have been using this brush for about 3 months. I do not concern myself with whether or not the quartz impregnated within the bristles do exactly what they say they do or not. I would have to pretend I have conducted scientific studies to verify this, when I have not. However, I can say that it is wonderfully constructed, performs very well, is comfortable to hold and gentle on my scalp. It’s easy to rinse in the case I use gel/pomade and fits the bill for all the characteristics I have been seeking in a simple brush.I have multiple boar bristle brushes from Kent as well so I am admittedly partial to the company. I care little about prices (within reason), since I recognize that Kent maintains its honor in the quality of products it offers, therefore I willingly pay for quality and I don’t quibble over dollars here or there. I know this brush will be in service for well over 15-20 years, if not more.

Good for thick hair
\I like this brush a great deal and it gets through my very thick hair pretty well, certainly better than most hairbrushes do.I have managed to break one of the teeth but all things considered that is pretty good going, my last brush lost 3 on day one

May be a little pricey but definitely does the trick to style hair
I have medium length, thick hair. For the longest time I had been using a bristle brush, which worked to tame my hair but not so much to style. A comb never really did the trick as there is a lot of hair to put in its place. So far, this brush is a nice in between. It makes styling much easier, especially in combo with hair product (I tend to use a fiber paste, high hold matte finish). For a brush, it is a little on the high end & I can’t say for sure it beats out lower end brushes. I was more sucked into the brand, as I do use Kent combs, which are top notch. I usually keep brushes for several years, so I don’t see it as a total money dump as I like to spend a little more on things that tend to hang around.. So durability is the next test, especially with upcoming travels. I see some say it hurts their scalp… Which it does make more direct contact to the scalp, so you don’t really have to put a lot of force in the brushing. May just need some getting used to for some, depending what type of styling tool you were previously using.

Great for wet styling hair which has gel in it
I like this brush very much for styling my naturally curly hair. As my hair is super clumpy, I need to separate it quite a bit, and this does the trick quite well. I finger comb my hair after applying conditioner, scrunch dry it, targeting the roots, then use this brush, and scrunch gel in. This brush allows me then to get the super clumps broken down to a manageable size, after which I do more scrunch drying them with my smooth surfaced towel. Maybe I have fine hair, this hair brush didn’t work for me. It feels too hard on my head.It’s a nice design and easy to maintain and well made but pity it didn’t work for me.

Ok but not great. The tips of the brush are pointed and stiff, so this tends to scratch my scalp.
