It’s thick, like most castor oils, but not gritty or weirdly sticky. I’ve been using a small amount on my scalp before washing and occasionally smoothing a tiny bit through my ends when they’re feeling dry. It gives my hair that softer, more conditioned feel, especially on days when it’s been looking a little dull or rough. I do have to be mindful about how much I use because it can get heavy quickly, but that’s just the nature of castor oil.Where this surprised me is with my eyebrows. I like this castor oil. I got this mainly for my brows and I can see a small difference! This stuff just feels a lot more natural than what I was using before on my brows. This oil seems like a very clean, pure castor oil. As someone completely new to castor oil – of course I’ve heard about it for years – I was surprised at the different ways you can use it. It is thicker than I expected it but that’s that normal consistency. I have to admit many of the castor oils I’ve seen are not very appealing, I have no idea how ‘clean’ it is, but when I saw this one 100% pure, cold pressed I thought it was time to give it a chance. I’m glad I choose this one, it seems to be quality castor oil. I can’t wait to see the results after I’m done with this bottle.
