I received the Kikc Shaving Brush Set, Pure Badger Shave Brush & Bamboo Bowl with 2-in-1 Shaving Stand, Complete Men’s Wet Shaving Kit, Eco-Friendly Bamboo Handle, Lathering Bowl & Razor Stand (Horizontal/Hanging), and was genuinely impressed by how complete the package felt right out of the box.The badger hair brush is the real standout here. It holds water well, whips up a rich lather quickly, and feels soft enough on the face that my skin never felt irritated. After several weeks of daily use, the bristles have stayed firmly in place without any shedding.The bamboo lathering bowl is nicely sized, with a textured interior that helps build lather efficiently. The bamboo handle has a solid, natural feel that I prefer over synthetic alternatives. Everything about the materials feels thoughtful and eco-conscious.The 2-in-1 stand is where I have minor reservations. The horizontal position works well for drying the brush, but the razor slot feels slightly loose with certain razor handle sizes. This is a beautiful shaving set! I’m very impressed with the quality of the bamboo bowl, shaving stand and brush with good quality badger hair bristles. The brush is suitably soft and durable during a shave. This would make a fantastic gift for the man in your life who appreciates a classic shave. The cost is appropriate for the quality you are getting with the whole set.

I love it! When I shave my head I don’t have shaving cream all over my hands. Just add a lil cream and water to the bowl & use the brush to spread the shaving cream on my head, it’s so much easier & less mess.

Bowl great, brush a standard sleeper champ, stand undecided: could go either way
First, the good:The wooden bowl is great; I’m not sure how durable it is, but it’s the perfect size and, being wood, it doesn’t readily transfer heat so your lather doesn’t get cold right away. The inner surface doesn’t have any particular texture, but the wood isn’t perfectly smooth, which is great for whipping up most suds.The included brush is a fairly standard item that’s available under many unpronounceable brand names. It’s not expensive or fancy, but I have actually found it to be one of the best brushes available. I have a bunch synthetic and natural brushes of different shapes and sizes ranging from about $4 to $60, and I’d put these cheap little wood brushes up against any of them. Judging by what most brushes are like, I prefer a brush on the stiffer side, and so should you. My experience with them has been that they’re pretty durable, too.The stand, I’m undecided on. It’s designed to fit standard cartridge razors — I include a photo with a little disposable one to show how well that fits — and I haven’t decided whether using it with a double-edge razor is great or terrible. I can either store it blade up, in which case it’s going to keep that wood wet a lot of the time, or blade down, which is actually pretty good but leaves that blade out there in the wind just waiting for me to brush against it.
