Not worth trying, take it from me
I was so excited to receive this. I absolutely love washing and conditioning my hair with the Kitch Coconut Oil shampoo/conditioner bars. However, I find that the conditioner bar doesn’t last as long as the shampoo bar does and once it gets to a certain size, it breaks up. That is a bit frustrating since Kitch advertises that their bars are long lasting and lasts even longer than most shampoos/conditioners. I deal with it because it’s the only conditioner as of late that actually leaves my hair soft, detangled and smelling great. Imagine my surprise and joy when I got on amazon, go into the the Kitch site and see the liquid coconut oil conditioner. I was so ecstatic, I ordered it immediately and it came the very next morning between 5-6am. As soon as I opened the Amazon box, I hurried to the bathroom to shower. My first takeaway is that the bottle is extremely hard to open. I have arthritis and carpal tunnel so be careful if that’s something you deal with. Once I finally got it opened, I smelled it and it the scent is absolutely NOTHING like the original coconut bar. In fact, it smells nothing at all like conditioner. It wasn’t a bad smell, just not what I was looking for. So I was still excited to use it though. So I washed my hair using my coconut oil shampoo bar, then I applied the liquid hair conditioner. I placed a shower cap over my hair as I do always so I can wash the rest of my body then rinse my hair. Mannnn, when I tell you the frustration and disappointment I felt the minute it was all rinsed out of my hair. My hair felt dry, brittle and very untamable. I sent it back immediately. I’ll be going back to the bar for. Maybe kitchen will do a liquid form of the exact ingredients as the bar.

Great product, packaging not so much
This is a good conditioner; it’s not heavy and does not weigh your hair down. It rinses quickly and cleanly and leaves your hair soft and shiny and removes tangles. It has a light scent that is not over powered. The only issue I have is not with what is in the bottle, but the bottle itself – it’s square shape makes it hard to handle if you have smaller hands and it takes a bit to squeeze the conditioner out. Great product, “eh” packaging.

Not for bleached hair but smells really good!
I ordered this conditioner for myself and I have bleached blonde hair so I knew that it was a risk because not everything works on my hair and makes it nice and soft. I used it a couple times and I actually didn’t end up liking the way that it worked on my hair, but I had my husband use it on his beard and it keeps it so soft! It does smell really good too.

Kitsch makes the best shampoo and conditioner for my dry curls. I only wish they had a typical round bottle. I have arthritis in my hands which makes it very hard to dispense.
