It feels great going on, and it makes my hair feel pretty—like actually pretty, not “I guess this will do.” And the difference after conditioning? I can see it. My hair looks softer, calmer, and like it finally decided to get its life together.The scent is awesome too. Not overpowering, not fake, just clean and polished in that “someone in a white robe handed me a warm towel” kind of way. And the packaging? Beautiful. Amazing scent, soft hair
I love the way this product line smells. Shampoo was rich, lathered up very nicely and had a good viscosity so that you don’t need a ton of product to get good cleansing suds. See my review on conditioner—I actually thought the conditioner could be a bit thicker but the shampoo is very nice and both smell delightful. The shampoo and conditioner together left my hair very soft and silky. Zero frizz control effect but I honestly wasn’t expecting any from shampoo and conditioner. Frizz control magic happens with the styling products. This is a decent buy for the price and product quality, so I give 5/5.

Smells amazing and greatly reduces frizz
L’Ange Frizz Care Shampoo has a lovely fragrance. It smells like a mix of light coconut, vanilla and musk. It’s just heavenly, and I think that’s due to the patchouli oil. It is sulfate-free and uses alternate cleansers (like cocamidopropyl betaine, made from coconuts) that are more gentle on hair, especially on curly hair. It contains moisturizers (argan oil and aloe) and protein (keratin, wheat and silk), and it also contains silicones and pathenol for frizz control.I have very fine, dry curly hair. I can’t ever seem to get enough moisture into my hair, so I try to avoid harsh cleansers and use moisturizing shampoos. Because it’s so dry, it tends to look frizzy all the time, and it doesn’t help that I live in a very humid area. I haven’t been able to tame the frizz in years, so, I ordered this shampoo out of desperation, hoping it would tame some frizz, and it does! It’s effective, and while my hair is not entirely frizz-free, I don’t know anyone with curls whose curls are 100% clumped. Since I don’t use silicones in any of my other products or conditioners, I think the silicones and the light weight moisturizers are the key factors here.It’s a small bottle of shampoo at 8 oz and since I have long hair, I do use a large dollop for each wash. At the current price of $22, I don’t feel it’s a great value for the money, so I only use it occasionally. Nevertheless, it’s a lovely shampoo for curly hair.

Smoother hair that smells fresh and clean after using
For reference, I have fine, wavy, blonde, graying hair that isn’t color treated and is almost to my bra strap at the longest length. Amazingly, this shampoo actually does help with frizz. I wouldn’t say it completely eliminates it, but it’s does make my hair noticeable less frizzy than normal and tames the wild grays. I still have to use my normal conditioner after washing, but the shampoo doesn’t overly dry my hair out either. It’s not very watery or overly thick and it only takes a little to lather up nicely. It rinses out clean and easily, without weighing my hair down. The scent is slightly floral and fresh, without being overpowering. It leaves my hair smelling like I just left the salon. I really want to try the matching conditioner to see if my frizz can be completely tamed! My hair also seems a bit shinier after using this, though my hair wasn’t very dull before using. Overall, while it may be a bit more pricey than some others, the bottle should last at least a month and it’s more of a luxurious experience than standard shampoos.
