Does work abroad, but it gets VERY hot
This does work pretty well, and I do own the Dyson version and can compare the two. The Dyson feels a good deal less damaging to my hair, though it can sometimes end up a bit smoother with this one, which is interesting. But this thing gets HOT and I do not like superheating my hair when it’s not yet dry. Sometimes it’s so hot steam can come off, so do make sure you dry it MORE with the dryer feature and reserve the curling or styling functions for when your hair is dryer. The barrels of the curling attachment can actually burn you, which is very very unlike the original Dyson, which is always a lower temperature (can feel very warm, but never HOT). So you’re not sparing your hair with this, but since the Dyson doesn’t travel smoothly (I packed it on my last trip for nothing), this is a good way to both dry and style your hair on the go. Just minimize your use to preserve hair health. I was very glad I had it on my trip to the UK, and the little travel adapter they included worked great.

Blow Dryer Brush Attachment for Dyson Airwrap MultiStyler HS01 HS05 i.d., TEXOVYRAXI sampled this brush head a couple weeks ago to see if I could speed up getting ready in the morning. My daughter had been nagging me to get something bigger for her long locks anyway, so I figured why not give it a shot.It snapped onto my base unit with a firm click right out of the box.First time holding it up to my head, I noticed how wide the oval brush head actually is compared to the narrow factory pieces that came with my original set. It definitely adds some weight to the whole wand, making my arm feel a bit tired if I hold it up high for too long. Holding the cool tip with my second hand helped balance things out.Running it through my damp hair after a shower felt pretty smooth. The bristles grabbed my strands well enough to pull them taut without yanking at my scalp or tangling up.The airflow blasts right through the center vents. It gave my hair a decent amount of lift near the roots on a sticky Tuesday morning when I was rushing out the door.Because the barrel is so big, I managed to take much larger sections of my hair at once instead of working in tiny strips. That cut a few minutes off my usual routine.My hair drops just past my shoulders, and this head worked fine to give the ends a slight turned-under bend. Although if your cut is much shorter than mine, say near your chin, this barrel might feel way too huge to wrap anything around cleanly.The cardboard container it shipped in was simple enough. Just plain cardboard with plastic trays inside, nothing fancy to write home about.The surface gets hot fast during use. Great for Volume and Smooth Hair
This has quickly become one of my favorite attachments for my Dyson Airwrap. I have thick, fine hair that falls past my shoulders with a slight natural wave, and this larger oval brush works wonderfully for creating the kind of blowout I like.I actually prefer this larger oval brush over the smaller Dyson brushes when I want more volume. It lifts my roots really well and gives my hair just a slight flip under at the ends instead of creating tighter curls. The finished result is smooth, full, and looks like I spent much more time styling it than I actually did.One of the biggest advantages is the size of the brush. Because it’s larger, I can dry and style much bigger sections of hair at once, which helps cut down on styling time. The bristles grip my hair well without pulling or snagging. I do make sure my hair is brushed out first, and it glides through very smoothly.I’ve never been very good at using a separate blow dryer and round brush at the same time, so this attachment makes it much easier to get a salon-style blowout on my own. It gives me much better control while still drying my hair efficiently.The attachment fits securely on my Airwrap with no wobble, and it feels sturdy and well made. It looks and feels like a quality accessory rather than a cheap add-on.For the price, I think this is an excellent value. If you own a Dyson Airwrap and like the look of a smooth, voluminous blowout, this attachment is definitely worth adding to your styling collection.

It’s the one you’re missing, which you never knew you needed….
What a find and happy surprise this brush attachment happened to be. I had a similar attachment that was my absolute favorite, except that the bristles deteriorated and had to throw it away. I have been on the search for it’s replacement and lo and behold here it finally is.The brush attachment is on the larger spectrum compared to most other traditional style attachments. It does have dual bristles, plastic and the coarse kind in between to compliment the plastic ones. It is easy to attach and stays in place on our Dyson Airwrap. It’s size does make it a bit on the heavy and awkward size towards usability, however don’t let that alone deter you because this attachment shines on performance.Performance-wise is on point! This brush attachment is phenomenal. It’s of perfect size for volume, and quick for straightening and drying because of it’s overall size. It is of good quality, craftsmanship and feels solid on our Airwrap. Overall, based on quality and performance, this is a definite must have in your hair accessory attachment variety for your Dyson Airwrap that won’t disappoint.

Turns your Dyson Airwrap into a Revlon one-step volumizer. Solid quality but I’m not a fan
Essentially turns your Dyson Airwrap into a Revlon volumizer. If you liked Revlon volumizer, you’d proably like it. I personally found it too bulky and heavy and unwieldy, which is why I traded it away for my Dyson Airwrap. When I first saw thsi, I thought it would be a nice upgrade from my plastic Coanda round brushes since it is titanium coated. While the quality seems solid, this attachment makes the Dyson too darn heavy and hence hard to work with. My hair was also a little too short to wrap around its super wide barrel, since I recently cut my hair to collarbone length, but it might work better on longer hair. Overall, quality seems solid, but I’m just not a fan.

Extra extra large barrel attachment
The Dyson Airwrap is my favorite hair tool of all time, and though I really like all of the attachments that come with it, the round brush attachment is a medium-sized barrel—for big volume and long hair, I thought this larger attachment would be great to try. It feels like very decent quality using a similar color story to the original Dyson tool and its attachments. It is large, make no mistake about that—and it’s rather heavy for an attachment. Though it does attach securely to my Dyson Airwrap, I did find it almost amusingly bulky. However, if you don’t mind that it makes the Airwrap rather heavy, it’s an excellent attachment for drying long hair and adding a lot of volume on the crown. I was super happy with the results, and liked that the larger barrel could create way more volume much more quickly than using a smaller barrel. It was probably not the attachment I’ll reach for everyday, though, as I think it’s quite large and somewhat unwieldy. But I like having this as an option among my Airwrap attachments so I could get that voluminous look with my existing device!
