I tried this a few different ways on my body razor to see what worked best. The spray works quite well at getting razor blades clean. However, it has a *horrible* smell. It is just a shockingly bad smell! The spray is so effective, but it’s hard to get past the odor.

Different concept and one I had never thought much about until I did a little reading about it.I got this Lazy Society Blade Cleaner – for Shaving & Residue because our household doesn’t have a soft water filter and we live off of hard water. With that said I buy a filter for the shower to clean the water because we all get rashes and have some skin issues.That got me thinking if I’m going through all of that trouble already why am I using a dirty razor? I’m using clean water, but each time we get in the shower we’re shaving with a dirty razor. Yet we’re complaining our legs itch. This is totally a true story. Then I’m replacing shower filters again. Or better yet replacing expensive razors!! It’s all expensive in the end!The simple answer for me was this. Clean the razor. This product has amazing results. We’re using shave oil, shaving cream, soap and god knows what else and shaving all of our body parts. Why wouldn’t we want this thing that’s touching all of our intimate areas to be as clean and sanitary as possible?Do you know how many trips to the dermatologist our household has had for inflammation on the legs?? This spray bottle can be used to clean a razor and a shaver. I use a Braum style shaver, which has a mesh screen covering two bladed spirals. I sprayed the cleaner onto the outside of the shaver and let the cleaner work for a minute or two. I then rinsed out the shaver. Immediately, a lot of loose hair bits came out. When I removed the screen head to expose the blades, I saw that they were relatively clean. It’s been a few months since I last cleaned the shaver, and normally by this time the interior would look like a dense black mold (it’s not mold, just a lot of hair particles). But using the cleanser and rinsing it out, left the inside pretty clean. I still used an old toothbrush to wipe any remaining debris, but I’m very happy with the product. I’m less happy with how they shipped it. Instead of a box or a sturdy container, it was shipped in an envelope. Without any protection, I’m surprised the bottle was still intact — the original box was a loss. I define this not a shipping problem but a packaging problem. Still, it arrived, worked, and I’m happy.

So we needed to deep clean the razors and so used this differently to how it is supposed to be used which is normally a spray and rinse.We poured the blade cleaner into a shallow container and put the electric razors in the liquid head down. We then turned the razors on to let the razor agitate the liquid and do the cleaning for us. After that, we used another bowl of water to clean everything off before drying.It worked wonderfully and removed grime and hair we could not even see.With a regular spray and clean, you might not need a deep clean like what we dit but it was very satisfying.
