Lightweight but deep moisture without greasiness
My daughter is loving this stuff. She has thick, wavy, slightly coarse hair that is dark brown, and she bleaches it regularly because she loves to dye it crazy colors. As you can imagine, all those chemicals leave her hair quite damaged, and since it is somewhat coarse to start with, leave-in conditioners are very helpful and she uses them often. This one from Roobliss is great because it is lightweight and helps restore softness and moisture without leaving a greasy or heavy look or feel. She loves how it leaves her hair feeling softer and less brittle, and she loves that she doesn’t have to apply it, wait, and rinse it out, so this product also offers a time-saving benefit. She loves the way her hair feels afterward, and that it doesn’t dull or lighten her bright hair color.I tried it myself, even though my hair is not chemically treated and I rarely use heat appliances, so my hair isn’t in need of “repair” like my daughter’s hair is–and I really like it, even for my hair. As mentioned above, it does make my hair feel softer and smoother but not greasy or weighed down. I really like and I like how the bottle tip dispenses the right amount into the palm of my hand. As another reviewer mentioned, I can see the benefit of putting the treatment in a spray bottle for even and thorough coverage, especially for someone like my daughter who has thick hair. But the dispenser tip works well for me. I also like the floral scent that is very pleasant and not overwhelming.Since the instructions are in Korean, I took a photo of the English instructions that are on the outer wrapper (and will be thrown away by most people). So, the English instructions are here in this review if anyone needs them, and I’ve got a copy of the photo in my phone if I need them. Also note there is apparently an expiration date on the bottle, which I don’t normally see in hair treatments, though perhaps I just never thought to look.I was unaware that black truffle was beneficial for hair, but it seems it is based on a quick google search! This stuff is a great choice for a leave-in conditioning treatment for both my “virgin” hair and my daughter’s thick, color-treated hair. It makes hair softer, moisturizes, and smooths frizz without weighing hair down.

Nice idea, but results were just average for me
I really liked the concept of this leave-in treatment, especially the protein and collagen ingredients and the fact that it’s a no-wash formula. The texture is lightweight and easy to apply, and it does help a bit with detangling right after putting it on. It also absorbs pretty quickly and doesn’t leave my hair feeling greasy, which I appreciated.That said, the overall results were a little underwhelming for me. While it smoothed my hair slightly, I didn’t notice a huge difference in frizz control or long-term softness compared to other leave-ins I’ve used. The conditioning effect felt pretty mild, especially if your hair is very dry or damaged.It’s not a bad product, and it might work better for people with finer hair who prefer a very lightweight leave-in. But for the price , I was hoping for a bit more noticeable repair and moisture. For me, it ended up being just okay rather than something I’d buy again.

Gentle Protein Leave-In for Type 4 Hair
I have type 4 hair that is thick, coarse, and very prone to dryness, so leave-in treatments are a regular part of my routine. That said, I’m always cautious with protein-based products because too much protein can make my hair feel brittle or overly dry. I had never used a product with black truffle before, so I was curious to see how my hair would respond.The consistency of this leave-in is on the thinner side. Instead of using the applicator it came with, I transferred it into one of my misting bottles so I could get more even coverage and make sure the product was distributed throughout my hair. I followed the instructions and applied it to damp hair, and using the misting bottle made it easy to apply without overusing the product.The formula is very lightweight and absorbed into my hair quickly without leaving any greasy feeling or weighing it down. It has a pleasant scent that leans slightly perfumy, but it isn’t overwhelming. potent gardenia scent is nice but overwhelming, takes time to see results, smooth + strengthen
This one took some time to grow on me. At first the gardenia fragrance was far too overpowering for me to handle. I had to start off using a very small amount, after my first mistake. I’m not great at conditioning my hair during a shower, but appreciate leave-in options that can be applied to clean, damp hair. I did not immediately notice any results from this, other than my head smelling like a garden. It was very subtle at first, but over time it began to help strengthen my hair. Then I noticed it felt softer to the touch, and even looked more sleek.There is sort of a fine line of how much I can get away with using, both for the consistency and fragrance. If I use too little, I feel like it isn’t doing anything for me, if I use too much it can trigger headaches, but also leaves my hair looking like a greasy mess. If I get it just right, this blends without looking as though there is product in my hair.I don’t shampoo on a daily basis, and I only use this directly after a shower, on damp hair. For that reason I feel I can get away with using it at all, where I would otherwise avoid such a strong scent. I like gardenia, and was aware of it going into this purchase, but I wasn’t expecting it to be quite so potent. After several weeks of use, I have hardly made a dent in my bottle. That makes it feel a bit more cost effective, as it was 27 for the bottle. The twist up nozzle makes dispensing product incredibly easy.
