Smells lovely and hasn’t irritated my scalp, but unsure it does anything for my curls and eczema

I was curious to try this as I deal with scalp ezcema if I’m not diligent about ensuring my scalp isn’t left wet from a shower or sweaty too long. This feels like pouring icy water on your head when applying and has far more of a cooling sensation compared to any tea tree oil products I’ve tried only without any of the tingling. The sensation doesn’t last more than a minute or so though.To be honest I haven’t noticed much from this yet, however it could simply be due to my hair routine or the cause of my itching. I have thick, coarse curly hair, so my roots tend to trap moisture while the length ends up dry. It hasn’t caused me any additional issues though and smells softly of honey, so I do like it in my hair.If you deal with dryness-related itching, this may be useful for you to try, and at the very least it doesn’t seem harmful.

Reduces dandruff, nourishes scalp

For the first time in my life, I have been dealing with a dry and flaky scalp, so have been trying various products to see what helps. I am very happy to say that this leave-in scalp serum has worked incredibly well for me. I apply it right out of the shower, while my hair is still wet, and just put a thin line of it along my part line on my scalp. I gently massage it into my scalp and then continue styling my hair as normal. I have had no flakiness or dandruff since beginning this and it has been about a month of use so far. I’m really happy with this product and I’ll likely continue buying it when I use this tube up. The tube isn’t large but you don’t need much at all, just a thin line along the scalp for each use. I expect a single tube will likely last me at least 6 months (I typically wash my hair 2x a week due to having very dry, course hair).

Finally, a bit of relief!

About a year ago, I suddenly and mysteriously developed scalp eczema. It’s been a really frustrating time, trying to solve the root (no pun intended) cause while relieving my symptoms at the same time. After numerous unsuccessful dermatologist visits, I was really tired of relying on topical steroids to get any relief, especially with the highly unpleasant side effect of my hair continuing to get thinner and more damaged, and so I started trying all.the.serums. with varying degrees of success (spoiler alert: sadly, mostly not very successful).A friend with an autoimmune disease recently told me she swears by manuka honey for its healing properties, and I was considering figuring out a way to try some in my scalp, but that also sounded very sticky and messy. So when I discovered this scalp serum with black bean, royal jelly, and honey, I figured I’d give it a try but didn’t really expect much, especially since I’m such a big fan of K-beauty in general. Not sure what the black bean magic is, but this serum immediately leaves my scalp feeling cooler and pleasantly tingly, and it helps with the itching as well. One thing I really like is the applicator, as it is always such a challenge to apply these types of products to your own scalp, and this one is a little more manageable. On the downside, it is a bit difficult to know exactly how much you need to use, and the tube doesn’t indicate what an “appropriate” amount actually is. The tube is pretty small, so I try to use the smallest possible amount I can that still covers my troublesome areas. The serum is lightweight and doesn’t drip down to my hair and leave it a sticky goopy mess, which I appreciate. All in all, this serum is worth giving a shot if you also have been suffering from scalp woes.

A Little Dab Will Do

I have often heard that Korean cosmetics are world-class, and I was very excited to try this leave-in serum on my summer-dry, thin, color treated hair. The results did not disappoint! After only two uses my hair is softer and fuller feeling. Given the summer heat, I especially appreciate that the serum is light and non-greasy. The ingredients include black beans, royal jelly, and honey along with other plants and flowers all of which sound natural and sumptuous.One thing that could use improvement is the description of this serum’s target. Its listing talks about itchy and dry scalp. Since I don’t have these problems and I almost passed this excellent product by. Luckily, I took a chance; my hair strands are dry (not my scalp), and the serum worked beautifully on my hair alone. It’s definitely more than just a “scalp” product.Better instructions for applying the serum would help. The box simply says to use an “appropriate amount,” which is vague. Given the high price and small tube size, I didn’t want to waste a single drop. I finally decided to go with the old hair cream slogan that says a little dab will do ya’ so I put a drop or two on my hands and massaged it into my hair after shampooing. I am not sure that this is the correct method but it seems to be working for my hair, even though I am not sure that any of the product is actually reaching my scalp or if it needs to for full effect.I would easily give this serum a full 5 stars if the instructions were clearer and the price-to-size value was a bit better. If you have dry hair, it is absolutely worth a try; just start with a “little dab” and experiment to see what works for you!
