    Not as good as I thought

    When I first bought this oil, I absolutely loved it, because it was so much better than anything I had previously used on my hair. But after using the product for a few months, I realize that over the long term it is not protecting my hair as well as it should. I have clipped the ends several times since using this oil, and they continue to dry out and split. I am now trying Moroccanoil — which seems to be an improvement. I have to give it time, however.If you can get a sample of this oil, I would recommend trying it, because it did make a difference in my hair. Someone else may find that the effects are more long lasting. It’s expensive — so for me it needs to perform better.

    Leonor Greyl is a Wonderful FindI highly recommend this product to anyone whose hair has lost its natural youthful shine. As I have gotten older my hair has lost the natural shine and body it once had. A friend of mine, who swears by Leonor Greyl products, talked me into trying several of their products. This product is my favorite. After the first use, my hair looked shiny not greasy. This oil brought back the natural health and bounce my curl used to have. After washing it two days later, my hair felt amazingly soft. I have used the product now three times and have not experienced any build up. I have noticed that it also feels stronger when combing it. When I used it on my skin after my shower my skin felt soft and refreshed all day. I did not experience the scratchy dry look I have experienced in the past when applying moisturizers. I never experience any greasy residue, but instead a soft healthy feeling specially in my hands. The only thing I would change about the product, if I could, would be the scent. It has a neutral kind of scent that disappears shortly after application. It is not a bad scent and I understand it is just a personal preference of mine. This will not prevent me from using the product, I am amazed at how well it works and makes my hair look and feel.

    to smell like this all day long would be awful

    Bought this as a gift and unfortunately it is too far past the return date. The smell is just awful…..a cross between mold and just plane gross. I can’t imagine rubbing this all over my body or even in my hair as the bottle instructs. No matter what it might do for your hair or skin, to smell like this all day long would be awful.I can’t imagine how or why anyone would recommend this product, the smell is that bad.

    Amazing product product for those of you who struggle with breakage/chemical damage!

    Wow…made my very brittle hair silky and healthy again!!!! I can’t say enough about this product, it’s very pricey but well worth the money! I’ve been struggling with hair products during this breakage/chemical damage for the last few months. I have biracial hair…Recently just got a keratin treatment which really took a toll on my hair, ends looked like a bottom a broom! So I went on a whim and bought this stuff and let me tell you- it’s definitely a staple in my hair care products! I’ve read that most don’t like the smell but it’s not horrible-the results for me were amazing! My hair looks silky, shiny and ends look great! FYI, I buy a ton of hair care products and haven’t found something as good as this!

    A very interesting and nourishing oil for damaged, colored hair.

    I will come back and leave a more detailed review in a month from now as I have just started to use this oil. I put it on at night and wake up to very soft hair. In a month from now I want to see what it does. The scent is divine! I might have found my holy grail hair oil. I have enough of them, but this one is standing out as the front runner in just one week of use so far.

    I love this oil but received it almost empty because it wasn’t sealed well and spilt in the box. Requested a replacement and they sent a completely different product from the line, hen refused to replace it for the actual item I ordered, so I never got it. But I did get refunded. Would have just liked the item.

    Smells terrible!!! Extremely strong sugary, coconut-esque odor that lasts…and lasts…and lasts! Reminiscent of cheap tanning oil from the 1970’s! The product does soften the hair, but leaves a heavy weighted residue that looks greasy, even when used sparingly. Save your money!
