    Strengthens nails, makes it easy to apply gel polish

    My nails are a bit brittle and tend to crack due to years of nail-biting. Some of my nails are also a bit grooved. This base coat helps me smooth out the cracks and grooves and makes the gel polish easier to apply. It does feel like it’s strengthening my brittle nails.There are no instructions included, so I just cured the base coat with a UV lamp for about 30 seconds, then another 30 seconds.So far, no peeling at the edges. I use to not use a base coat and just apply gel polish directly. I can definitely tell a difference with this base coat. My gel polish tends to last longer, even after swimming in saltwater. The base coat has quite a thick consistency so apply sparingly so that it can fully cure under the UV. Overall, a really nice base coat that works really well. Although, it’s a bit pricey as I’ve had other base-coats that were half the price and worked just as well.

    Strong Protection for Nails but Slow to Dry

    This base coat does what it claims in terms of strengthening and protecting polish. Once cured, it feels solid and gives a nice reinforced layer that helps polish last longer without chipping. It also smooths out uneven spots on weaker nails, which makes the finished look cleaner.The trade-off is the drying time. It takes noticeably longer to set compared to other base coats, which can be frustrating if you want a quick manicure. In terms of value for money, the protection and long-lasting wear are good, but the slow dry time keeps it from being as convenient as it could be. If you are patient, the end result is worth it, but if speed matters, it may not feel like the best deal.

    Excellent base coat for polygel

    I’m not an expert so my application is far from perfect but I’ve started biting my fingernails after kicking the habit 13 years ago. I had long, strong, and healthy fingernails but over a year ago, I started shredding them due to life. They’re no longer as strong as they once were, probably due to the mid life changes I’m going through.As you can see in the photos, my fingernails were looking awful, I was so tired of trying to hide them all the time that I decided t get some polygel and try to make them look a little more presentable. As I stated before, I’m no expert and have very little experience with gel nails so the final result is far from perfect but it’s a huge improvement to how my fingernails were looking before.This base coat is great! I have two other brand of base coats that came with the polygel kits and those are thick and difficult to spread and have a slightly yellow tint. This base coat is clear, spreads easily, and has provided a great base for my gel, I haven’t had any fall off even after gardening and washing dishes daily.I originally put it on directly on my nails thinking it would help keep me from biting my nails but it had no effect, I chewed right through the gel. The stickiness is easily removed with acetone or alcohol if you wanted to use it directly on your nail, it leaves a really clean and shiny look.

    Goes on smoothly. It is a bit sticky after curing but considering I used it as a base coat, that didn’t bother me. It could be worn alone as a shiny, clear coat. My nails feel strong and so far it seems long lasting. The picture is after a week of wear.

    Great Strengthening & Smooth Application

    I have a few cracked nails, so I was looking for something that could provide added strength and stability during my manicures. I decided to give this base coat a try, and overall, I’m pleased with how it performed.First off, the bottle itself is really unique—it has a special design that makes it stand out from other nail products. The base coat has a thick consistency, so I made sure to wipe off any excess from the brush before applying it. The applicator brush worked incredibly well, allowing me to apply the base coat smoothly and without any streaks.One thing to note – there are no instructions on the bottle or box, so I used it as I would any other base coat. I applied a thin layer and cured it under a UV lamp for about 60 seconds, maybe a little longer just to be safe. Then I followed up with my gel polish color and a top coat.This base coat definitely gave my nails some added reinforcement, especially on the weaker ones that had cracks. It created a smooth, even surface and worked really well as a base for my manicure.As for the claim that it lasts 40 days—I haven’t had enough time to verify that just yet. But it does feel durable, and I’m hopeful that it will help prevent future breakage by strengthening my nails over time.It is a bit pricey at $10 for a single bottle, but a little product goes a long way. Overall, I’m happy with it and plan to continue using it whenever my nails need that extra support and structure.

    Smooth application and nails feel stronger.

    First up, wow. The bottle is absolutely gorgeous. I’ve honestly never seen anything like it. Whoever did the design for this should be congratulated.I have two reports to give for this product; the first being my wife who frequently gets her nails done and manicures at home. She, being the expert, applied this base coat and then cured with a UV lamp for approximately 60s. It goes on easily and leaves a smooth finish. Adding color and top coat it almost looked like she had acrylics on. Seems comparable in price to some of the other purchases she’s made from recognizable brands.The second report is from me. I stupidly dropped a rock on my foot months ago and split the end of my nail. I’m not ashamed to say I saw the word “repair” and tried it out. It definitely adds rigidity and strengthens my nail although after curing it remains a little sticky (as noted in the listing). I “solved” it by throwing a little clear coat over the top.No, I didn’t do the rest of my toes, although I was tempted.Overall this feels like a great product. I can’t fully speak to the repair or “the lasts 40 day” claims since it’s still early days, but I’ll update the review with any observations.

    Gorgeous Bottle, Product Seems Pretty Good, Bad Smelling

    Aesthetically this bottle is gorg, such a delish looking and feeling bottle, like a luxury concrete, if that’s a thing. It went on my nails smooth and easy (I used a more precision gel nail brush, not the brush included in the lid). I think it cured well, with 60 seconds in a good full-hand nail light (hard for me to tell for sure as I am in the beginning stages of the gel journey). I have a very hard time keeping in the lines so to say, and it takes me a long and slow time, with my face close to my nails, when applying gel. I did not like the smell of this product, so I would not get it again not experiment more to know how good it is.

    Cutest bottle

    This rubber base gel is great for those with thinner or weak nails not looking to use full coverage tips or even builder gel. The rubber aspect to this is supposed to help the gel flex with the natural nail so it doesn’t chip as easy. It is a gel product to please take the appropriate precautions and you will need a UV/LED lamp to cure the product.As with most base gels, it will feel tacky afterwards, that’s to help the color or top coat grip and stick. This product is not designed to be used by itself, make sure you seal it with a top coat at a minimum.
