    Love the shampoo and conditioner, but styler is too heavy.

    EDIT: After using the shampoo and conditioner for several months, I’m adding a star. Having never used curl-specific shampoo/conditioner before, I assumed they were all similar. This is not true. After trying several other brands, I’ve found that the typical curl shampoo is way too heavy and makes my hair greasy and gross. The LUS shampoo is light, lathers nicely, and makes my hair feel clean but not dry. I still hate the bottle design, which is why I was trying so hard to find an alternative, but finally I gave in, bought a giant liter bottle, and am putting it into a different pump bottle to fix the user experience. I definitely do recommend this and am trying the lighter, wavy formula styler to see if it works better for me. And the gel is awesome!As I’ve gotten older and I’m getting grays, my curls haven’t responded to my hands-off approach. I’m a sucker for social media ads and kept seeing ads for the LUS Love Ur Curls system and finally decided to give it a try.After using it for a few weeks, my feeling is that the shampoo and conditioner are pretty good, but I do not like the step 3 all-in-one-styler, which has kind of a gel-like consistency. I have low porosity 3A curls and I think I need more protein than this is providing because my hair would look pretty good in the morning but look sad and deflated a few hours later, and be impossible to revive the next day. I’ve switched to a curl cream from a different brand and am having better results. I really like the Irish Sea Moss Gel though, it has good consistency and hold.One other thing I don’t care for is the bottle design. The shampoo bottle has basically kind of suctioned in on itself and I’m having a hard time getting the rest of the product out; I’ve also run through almost all the shampoo but have a ton of conditioner left, so there seems to be a mismatch there, or maybe I just use way less conditioner than the average person. I’m also having trouble with knocking the bottles over since they are so thin and so have a not very stable base.Overall I think it was worth trying but I’m not planning on buying again, although trying this did send me on a hair journey to find a product that would work better. I do recommend the Sea Moss gel though, it’s pretty great.

    Love this product

    I have permed hair and I was thinking I needed another perm. I bought the shampoo. and conditioner It’s absolutely amazing. My hairdresser can’t get over How my hair is hydrated and in better condition. It leaves me curls every day in the morning if it’s a little out of place I just have to put a little water on it and it bounces right back. Love this product. I won’t need another perm for another couple of months according to my Hair dresser I will definitely continue to useI told my sister-in-law about it and she has natural curly hair, she says her hair has never looked so good and we both are receiving compliments all the time on our hair well worth the money

    nice but expensive

    so far it has worked wonders, my hair feels so soft and the curls have just popped! started my curly hair journey over after I did the big chop, they have been coming back just like when I was a kid. So far I have no complaints the product smells amazing and my hair feels clean and bouncy! It is definitely on the expensive side, so if you can afford it go for it, i will be looking for more affordable options and will update when and if I find some 🙂

    In my opinion, this product is not worth the price.

    Like many other people with curly hair, I have tried many products. This product kept coming up on all my feeds about how great it is, so I decided to try it. Shampoo and Conditioner smell good and works good. The Curl cream and gel are just ok. They are not a miracle product. My curls still get puffy and do not sustain throughout the day. I would have to use so much more product to have a decent look. So, in my opinion, this product is not worth the price.

    Absolutely hands down the best curly hair products I have ever found and I have tried everything over the years. I have fine but lots of 3a/b dry curls and suffer from frizz. Lus makes my curls look healthy, shiny and controlled even in humidity. Love the fragrance too! The shampoo is gentle and cleans well without stripping, the conditioner is the best de-tangler I’ve ever used hands down and the styling cream is magic. I follow their application techniques. I also love the gel which helps to control frizz. All in all you cannot go wrong with these fantastic products. And it’s a Canadian company! Win win win

    Great value/ great product

    I purchased the Love Ur Curls – Ultra Curl Defining Set for curly hair during the Prime Days sale. My curls are well defined without feeling crunchy and stiff. The shampoo thoroughly cleanses my hair without drying it out and the conditioner leaves enough slip in my hair to ensure it comes out tangle free. The styling products are not heavy and allows my curls to bounce and stay defined all day. I’m loving my curls!Love this product and you can’t beat the price when you buy it on Amazon.

    I put off buying this, because of the cost, but boy am I happy that I did! Go ahead and add it to your shopping cart because it is worth it. I have 3b hair it has changed as I’ve aged so finding a new product that works has been challenging. After just one use I can tell it moisturized and hydrated my hair the way it needed to be. It also holds very nice without the dry crunch. I used all 4 products. On day 2-4 I spray down with some water and use step 3&4 (the cream and gel) and after a restyle, it looks like day 1 again. Thank you!

    Love ur curls shampoo/conditioner, cream curl, & gel

    I actually really like this set of shampoo/conditionerCream curl/leave in curling cream & gel to finish off my routine.. the gel doesn’t leave my hair real stiff AMA neither does the curling cream…I find you can’t use the curling cream every time you wash your hair, or it will begin to get too greasy, so I use it alternately. The gel can be used wherever you want to and it doesn’t leave it too oily. The one drawback is the price of these products. I think this will be the last time I purchase the shampoo & conditioner…I can get it a lot cheaper with other brands that work just as well.

    The shampoo and conditioner works amazing! U only need a small amount of both. I have really long hair and only needed about a dime size amount. The shampoo suds great and honestly feels like I used conditioner after use. Conditioner leaves hair soft and tangle free also. Not sure of after products yet hair is still wet. So hair dry and a lot less frizz but not much volume or curl definition but I also let it air dry. So tonight I will try plopping method
