Super potent kept my scalp hydrated and hair glowing.
This Batana oil blend is thick and super nourishing for the hair it has a lot of powerful ingredients that help with hair growth and repair. I apply this to my scalp before a good blow dry and it really did help with keeping my scalp hydrated and less prone to dandruff and dry patches that I usually get with my psoriasis. A tiny bit goes along way I just dabble a few drops all around and massage in while my hair is damp. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a hair oil that has potent oils through and through.

If you’re looking for a serious solution for a dry, itchy scalp or hair that’s feeling dry, this Scalp Therapy Hair Oil Blend with Batana is a solid addition. I’ve been testing it out to address my super dry and itchy scalp and the results from this intensive moisturizing treatment are providing me some relief.The 1.9oz bottle is very manageable, but a little goes a long way. The oil has a rich, high-quality consistency that covers without being overly thick or feeling overly greasy. It’s easy to drop on directly onto the scalp, and it absorbs well. It has a natural, earthy and clean scent which makes the application feel more therapeutic l than just another step in a routine.As an intensive treatment, it feels so soothing on my scalp. That constant itchy scalp feeling is the worst to deal with all day so noticing a relief almost immediately is so appreciated. I’ve been using in the morning to be able to leave it on to get optimal results and it leaves my scalp feeling hydrated and balanced.Not only does it help with my scalp it also moisturizes my dry ends. Good for deep conditioning, but not what I expected from batana oil
I ordered this oil to use for monthly scalp treatments as part of my selfcare routine and was hoping for a more authentic batana oil experience. The oil itself is very thick and nourishing, but because of that it takes quite a bit of shampooing to fully wash out, especially if you have finer hair. I do think it leaves my hair feeling softer afterward and it works well as an overnight treatment when my ends feel dry. However, the scent did not smell like true batana oil to me. Authentic batana oil usually has a deeper roasted aroma that reminds me somewhat of coffee or toasted nuts, and this blend smells much different. The formula does feel rich and moisturizing, but I think the added oils and botanicals change both the texture and scent quite a bit from pure batana oil. Overall, it works nicely as a heavy conditioning scalp and hair oil, but if you are specifically looking for the traditional batana oil smell and consistency, this may not fully meet expectations.

Very moisturizing
The scalp therapy Batana oil seems to be a good quality oil. It doesn’t have a strong scent. It is soft on my skin and hair. This Scalp Therapy Batana oil has other ingredients that are known to grow hair. This oil definitely helps my dry hair. It is not heavy on my scalp and doesn’t have a greasy feel on my hair. I use it along with pure Batana oil and with another Lux oil by this company.

This Lux Collection hair oil seems to include good oils that I typically use and like, but it’s in a bottle made for Batana oil. The texture seems more viscous, like Castor oil, whereas I like Batana for my long, straight hair because it’s thin and washes out more easily. If I use an oil that is too thick, it won’t wash out on the first wash, which is why I stopped using Castor oil on my scalp. There is also no scent of Batana oil in this one (usually pretty nutty or coffee-ish, not a subtle smell) so it seems like the label could be changed to indicate the primary ingredients, especially for people with coarse hair who are looking for a richer texture like this one.

Keeps my scalp moisturize
I love this oil! It smells nice and it keeps my scalp moisturized. My scalp gets tight and dry. I use the dropper and section my hair off first; then I apply it to my scalp. After I apply it I use my finger tips and massage it in. It also works wonders for an itchy scalp.

Non-irritating, low scent and soothing moisture
This oil is one of the nicest scalp oil blends I have used in a while. It really should be advertised as a mainly castor oil blend, with batana as the third ingredient, I believe.I really appreciate that although it contains such things as menthol, rosemary and tea tree that are often very strongly scented, or really tingly, I hardly even get a scent of anything, and I do not experience any tingling at all. I have had problems in the past where rosemary, tea tree or menthol oils have just been overpowering and uncomfortable to the point where I had to re-wash my hair to get it off my skin, but no such case here happily!Only needing 3 or so drops on my fingertips means I will have enough from one bottle for quite a while. I concentrate around my hairline and hair part scalp, which always seem to be the places I am most dry.Thankfully the formula is not overly sticky, greasy, so my hair does not look or feel gooed up. It absorbs into my skin about as quickly as any of my skincare does. It is a little thick, but using so little helps.I like to put some on right after a shower, or whenever I get up in the morning, as well as before I go to bed. I even put a little on my eyebrow hair and skin and I have to admit, I noticed a difference in the softness of even my eyebrow hairs; they looked flatter, darker and much less wild than they did without the oil, so colour me impressed!Lux Collection is an excellent quality and affordable brand I have used products from in the past, and they never steered me wrong.
