I felt that This handcream was nice and creamy, and it went on very smoothly. It helped with dry skin. I would not use it on tattoos because it seems as though it has a subtle scent to it. The scent is nice and clean, but not suitable for something like a killing tattoo.

High end hand cream, still overpriced
I dont like to overpay, im a bit of a cheapskate. This hand cream, although top tier, comes in a very small size for the price point. Im not happy at all with that aspect.Now the goods! A very little goes a long way. The scent is light and pleasant, not far off from being ‘unscented.’ I am very picky with any hand creams or lotions and this one definitely exceeded my expectations with the simple fact that it does not leave my hands feeling greasy. I HATE greasy lotions and creams. Definitely recommend, its a high quality cream. Maybe just wait for a good sale because I cant justify the value

I feel like I’m spoiling my hands. I love it!
My hands have a long history of getting raw and cracked during the winter months. It’s been somewhat better since I outsourced the chore of cleaning litter boxes to my kids, but they still run into trouble every year. Dishwashing and other cleaning messes them up, and the cold makes it so much worse.I keep a large selection of fingerless gloves and the heavy duty Aquaphor goop for winter hand care. I basically coat my hand in the goop and shove it in the fingerless gloves for overnight repair. I hate it, but it’s worth it when my hands are in bad shape. I also have a variety of basic hand creams and lotions that I start with but have to abandon once my skin condition worsens.I have not tried this hand pomade on actively cracked skin, but I have used it several times now on skin that was approaching raw and damaged.It’s much thicker than the standard hand creams, and it does take longer to absorb. It does absorb though, unlike most balms I’ve tried. I’m also seeing improvement that I’m not used to seeing with the usual hand creams. I don’t know that this hand pomade will be enough to keep me from needing my overnight gloved Aquaphor goop intervention entirely, but I expect it will reduce how often I need it. It’s reassuring, and I’m very happy with that.The hand pomade does have a slight fragrance that reminds me of honeysuckle. I would prefer fragrance-free, but I know hand creams nearly always have fragrances, and at least it’s near the end of the ingredients list.Overall, I’m enjoying it quite a bit, and I frequently reach for it over my other hand cream options.

I am hard to please when it comes to skincare
TL; DR: One star off for skin irritants, one star off for cholesterol (only because it’s not vegan but could be mislabeled). My 2nd to last picture is immediately after rubbing the cream in, and the last one is two hours later. My skin was slightly redder and irritated but I have dry, sensitive skin, so you may not have the same experience.I am trying to be as fair as possible to this product. As a reviewer, I try to judge products for what they are, not for whether or not they please me personally. And I try to only order products that I think I will like. But I am biased against certain ingredients and this product has several of them, though thankfully, at the bottom of the ingredient list.I am not big on fragrance. The main reason is that it can cause people to become sensitive to a product that they wouldn’t normally be sensitive to. And I just don’t like most fragrances. In addition, limonene, linalool, geraniol, citral, and eugenol are all known to be skin irritants. I can understand that their scents may enhance user experience but in a product for dry skin, it’s not worth the risk, IMO. So I took one star off for all of that.I took a second star off because this product is marketed as being vegan but lists cholesterol in the ingredient deck. Cholesterol only occurs in animal products. It’s possible that this is a labeling error.Now on to the positives, which I usually try to start my reviews with but this product rubbed me the wrong way, literally.😆The first, second, and third ingredients are water, glycerin, and shea butter. That is very good. There are a lot of nourishing oils in this, as well as oat extracts, and ceramides. The scent was unusual and natural smelling, both of which I appreciated but I would have preferred fragrance free because the scent was a little too strong for me. However, I am sensitive to scents. This product is probably nothing compared to something you might find at the mall.👀As far as the price point goes, when it comes to skincare, I think that is subjective. This cream is the consistency of a cream. It’s almost as light as a lotion. It soaks in when you rub it in and left my hands feeling soft. So you probably wouldn’t use this as a treatment that you put on in a thick layer and wear gloves over. It’s a regular hand cream. If you know that you don’t have issues with any of the ingredients in this product, you’re looking for this type of hand cream, and you’re fine with the price point, then it’s worth it to you and that’s all that matters.

This hand pomade was a lovely surprise. The packaging immediately stood out …. the grey and black tones and Roman style artwork give it a very luxe, expensive feel, and everything arrived well sealed. You really don’t need much at all; a small dab easily covered one hand, so it should last a while. I’m picky with hand creams because many feel greasy, but this one absorbs quickly and leaves my hands feeling smooth and hydrated. I also love that it’s vegan, which was a big reason I chose it.
