I really wanted to like this stick balm a little bit more, but it’s honestly not bad for what it is. It’s super easy to use since it works just like a mini deodorant stick where you just twist the bottom and rub it right on your face. I brought it with me on a recent trip because the little container fits perfectly in a bag and doesn’t leak everywhere like a standard bottle of oil usually does, so that part is remarkable. It smells pretty good too, just a basic clean spicy scent that isn’t too strong or anything.The main issue I have is that it leaves things feeling pretty sticky after you put it on. If I accidentally touch my face later in the day, my fingers get gummy, which is annoying. Also, if you have a lot of thick hair like I do, some random lint or fuzz always seems to get stuck to the top of the bar after you swipe it, so you have to keep cleaning it off. It takes a lot of product to actually flatten down the stubborn hairs that stick out, so it probably works noticeably better if your hair is thinner. It’s a solid backup option to keep in a pocket for quick touch-ups, but it’s a little pricey for something I don’t use every single day.

I’ve been using this beard stick for a few weeks now a couple times a week and I like it quite a bit. It works well and doesn’t leave my mustache feeling waxy or stiff, but provides a good hold so it looks nice. It doesn’t irritate my skin at all, it seems pretty neutral. It looks like a little deodorant stick and is simple to use, you just swipe it on to your liking and then style your facial hair as needed. I use very little, just a few light swipes in either direction to give a little shape to my otherwise wily mustache. It has a fairly not existant scent, just a little waxy smelling when you’ve got the stick right under your nose but unnoticable after that. Decent price for a product that does exactly what it says.
