    Hair gel

    Product is great! Not sticky, gummy, flaky or stiff. Holds great. Only drawback is it takes forever hours to dry.

    I have purchased many gels, but this is by far the best. I like the natural ingredients, along with how it makes the hair feel healthy.

    Not great quality. Not a very strong hold.

    This hair gel didn’t provide much hold once it dried and barely felt like there was any product in my hair. My hair stayed roughly in place, but no more than it would if I just wet it and let it dry. The scent was fine and it washed out easily, which were the only real positives. Overall, it didn’t perform as a styling product for me. It was basically no different than cheap dollar store gel.

    This is a really good, versatile styling gel. I love that it’s moisturizing and doesn’t flake at all—my hair feels soft, not crispy. The ingredients like honey and shea are a nice plus. It’s perfect for creating natural, touchable styles or controlling light frizz.However, for my thick hair, I wouldn’t classify it as a “Maximum Hold” gel. It’s more of a medium to firm hold. If you’re looking for an extremely strong, sculptural, or 24-hour lockdown, this might not be it. But for a comfortable, well-conditioned style with good, flexible hold, it’s an excellent choice.

    Didn’t work for me. Couldn’t even hold baby hairs

    Literally did not hold my baby hairs down whatsoever and started looking crazy after 2 hours. I would not call this max hold, because no matter how much I used, my hair did not hold. I have 2B hair for reference and I don’t know why it didn’t hold my hair down or in tighter curls when I used this properly. It did smell nice but was not effective by any means. Kind of disappointed 🙃

    Strong Hold Without the Crunch

    This gel gives me a solid hold while still keeping my hair feeling moisturized. I like that it has honey and shea in it, so it doesn’t leave my hair feeling dry or stiff. It works well when I slick my hair back into a ponytail and also helps tame frizz without flaking. The texture is easy to spread, and a little goes a long way. Overall, it’s a good option if you want strong hold but still want your hair to feel soft.

    Revamp of old school gel

    Great gel, I think it depends on your hair texture. I have 4c hair and wet gels cause it to curl up versus lay flat. I tried it on a client with slightly curly hair and it worked really well. I molded the edges and then put her under the dryer. My son have very curly hair and it did work a day for him but then it curled back up. So it does work and will give a firm hold but it depends on your hair texture and purpose. I do personally think $14 is a lot for gel but it is a big container that should last a while. I only use small amounts at a time. It does give slight shine without drying your hair out like the old school gel. It also smells really good and I did not notice any flakes which is a huge plus.
