The only thing worked for me
I tried more than ten different beard products to try to fill up some patches on my beard without any success. I tried a few natural oils that only soften my beard and make it more manageable. But it does not to help grow any beard in those patches. It was not quite clear what Maxx Beard is for when I stumbled across it. I decided to give it a try largely because the ingredients look solid to me. Different from most other natural products, this product does have clinically proven ingredients like Kopyrrol, Azetinol and Niacin that have been shown to stimulate hair growth. I just finished my first bottle. It lasted about 2.5 months. I do not use one full mL each time because I only need enough to fill in the areas where I want to grow beard. I started to see the patches are filed with little hairs, which are much shorter than other areas. I have never seen this happen with any other products I tried before. This gives me a lot of hope. I know beard grows slowly, especially with the new baby beard. I do notice my regular beard is also growing faster. I am planning to buy two more bottles and hope it will my new beard looks the same as the rest.For your information, here is my routine. I wash my beard each time before using this product. I then dry my beard using a towel. I use the dropper to take up some liquid from the bottle and use the dropper to deliver the solution where I want to grow beard. I have to squeeze out the solution slowly to avoid solution dripping. I also use the tips of the dropper to spread the liquid. At last I will use my index finger to spread the solution evenly to prevent solution dripping. I do this at night and everything is absorbed when I got up in the morning.

Exciting progress!
Ok, so after looking around for solutions for my patchy whiskers, I came across this. It seemed like most of the reviews here were from people who got the product for free. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but I felt like I should give my opinion because I had to pay for the product.It is a bit pricey, and i thought it was probably the placebo effect that reviewers were noticing new growth. Additionally, I know that beard hair tends to grow in 6 week cycles, and not all of the hairs are on the same cycle, so I thought that the 6 week time frame on the bottle was an excuse to force people to try growing a beard longer than they usually would. Even so, I decided to try one bottle.To test my theory about the 6 week cycle, I have not been trying to grow a beard while I use this product. I have been shaving regularly like I normally do. Before I started using this, I had very slight hairs at my mustache, chin, and sideburns, and only one or two very small patches of hair on my cheeks. Everything else was completely smooth.I use the product every morning. I found it nearly impossible to spread with the eyedropper, so what I do is empty half the dropper in my left palm, and then use my right pointer finger to pick it up and spread it across one half of my face where a beard should be. Then, I repeat for the other half of my face.The scent is basically that of rubbing alcohol, nothing that bothers me. It is also interesting that I can feel something happening for the first 30 minutes that it is on my face. It is sort of tingly.I am currently 1/4 of the way through the bottle, and I can’t believe it, but I do see noticeable new growth. After using the quarter bottle, if I don’t shave for a day I can see a mustache shadow forming where there used to be none. Additionally, the two very small patches on my cheeks went from being the size of half of a dime, to connecting to each other and being the size of approximately a half dollar!Do I have a full glorious beard in a month? No, but I was not really expecting that. The fact that I have seen growth speed up at all is pretty awesome, so I am happy. I gave it a good try over several months. I did notice it seemed to help fill in some spots on my cheeks a little but that also may have been because I never really let my beard grow like I tried this time. I really wanted to grow a beard so I gave this product a try. It appears my genetics don’t allow for me to grow a beard without big patches. I have come to terms with that. I’ve made my peace. I can’t say this product produced noticeable results for me so I cannot really recommend it. It may perform better on other people perhaps. It is easy to use and the smell is not overpowering.

Nothing spectacular, but it does the job… after months of use.
I have been using this product for about 9 months and I am satisfied with it, but it could be better.Pros: It is fairly cheap and it works.Cons: It will take a while to see effects (around 1.5 months for me). It dries your skin and makes the area a little itchy, just annoying, nothing unbearable. You also must apply it every night or at least 6/7 days of the week to see changes in your facial hair. I still have a little bald spot on the middle part of my chin and it is taking very long to fill in but I am seeing little hairs start to sprout there after 9 months. However, oddly enough, the area around the middle is actually growing in quite abundantly. (I have a semi goatee now)Other areas such as my mustache are doing fairly well. I started to apply some of the product to a bald spot in my hair on my head and am starting to see a minor difference in about a month. Im pretty sure the hormones in your body and the way your natural facial hair grows will have a larger effect on your hair growth as compared to this product, but I guess Maxx beard does help a little.

brilliant little product
brilliant little product. now I dont exactly have a bear of a beard but my moustache has a substantial growth to it. Now if you are looking to add some volume to your beard this is the product to go for, Ive bought 2 bottles and ive made the most of them. Now sorry to dissapoint you there but this product will not magically make your beard grow over nigh there is no product out there that will do that, no magic pill or a fairly godest. Its all down to your genetic but most importantly you have to let it grow, dont shave just let loose. You want to make sure that you get plenty of sleep, eat healthy, wash your face morning and night, plenty of sun or vitamin D and last but not least chiiiiiiil, try to not to get stressed. Other than that ive rated this product 5 stars because it made my mustache handsome not it didnt make it grow quicker or fill up any bold patches but it dud however provide it with all the necessary vitamins. Any way dont let other people put you of from buyingstuff the best way is to make your own opinion by trying things out you never know this might be just what you are looking for.

I decided to give this one a try. I was thinking about the Rogaine version however some people experienced irritation due to the chemicals and main ingredient, minoxidil. I like that this product as it’s using an alternative, kopyrrol, as the main ingredient and so far I have not had any noticeable redness, itchiness or other irritation (I do experience a little sensation, but I attribute that to the sensitivity I get when the liquid dries and tickles my face) but other than that my face has been fine.The scent can be a little strong, especially if you use in the mustache area around your nose so just be careful. However the scent smells really nice though. I also love the natural ingredients, which was a big push why I chose this brand instead of the Rogaine version.I’ve only been using for about a month and I do see that my beard is filling in a little. I have patches on my face so I know that I need to follow through with this for 6-months to a year to see the results. However, on my mustache, it doesn’t connect right under my nose area and I am actually now seeing some strong growth (just a few hairs) that are coming out. I do have fuzz in that area, but none of the hairs have even come out like they are now!I know that it’s not much, however it IS significant to me and encourages me to continue using the product.I’m giving this product 5-stars because of the natural ingredients, the smell, ease of putting on the face (which is just once every night before bedtime) and also because I am noticing some hair growth.With any regiment like this, it does take time…I’ve seen reviews from others using the Rogaine version and they offered progressive images showcasing the hair growth and it did take about a full year to see full results…so you just have to be patient AND be consistent!Good Luck! But I do recommend this product.*You may want to also use this product along with a beard supplement to maximize the effect.

I took the bottle for 2 whole months, although slow, there is definitely improvement over the last 2 months. I have purchased a second bottle and will go another 2 months. My plan overall is to go 6 full months of using this stuff. I have taken pictures to showcase the progression. I took pictures at the start (January 10), and near the end (March 12). I will take more photos again around May 10 when I finish another 2 months. Helps with softening and growing, and volumizing
Hubby and I love this beard oil. It’s fragrance free, and it makes his beard nice and soft and tamed. Sometimes his mane gets a little wild and itchy, so we started trying a few different beard oils and this one works great. He also uses beard balm too. The beard oils help more with softening and taming, and with itchiness he gets when he doesn’t use it, and beard balm helps more with managing and taming. This one has biotin and other nutrients that makes it especially nourishing and great for your skin as well as facial hair, and it even helps with growth. I’m fine with how his beard looks, but he claims there were areas he wanted to look more full. Whatever he’s talking about, he said this has actually seemed to work after a little over a week.First things first: the goal is to train your beard to be awesome 24/7. After your morning (or 3pm because your Saturday night was that good) shower, apply your Oil/Balm.- Pour a small amount of beard oil in your palm or snag a dollop of balm with your fingertip.- Spread it on both palms and between your fingers (there’s that hair gel similarity again).- Apply evenly throughout your beard and massage into your skin. Don’t forget that second part — a beard is only as healthy as the skin it sprouts out of!- Optional Bonus Move: Brush and/or comb for maximum fullness and styling. If you do decide to take this extra step (hint: you totally should take this extra step), brush first to perfectly distribute the oil/balm throughout your beard and follow up with combing to nail that sculpted-by-the-Beard-Gods-shape.- Practice your “What? This old thing?” delivery before leaving the house so you convincingly emulate someone who isn’t aware his facial hair is the stuff of legend.I purchased mine at a discount in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

Sorry for the long review, but this product deserves a thorough review!I will start this review by saying I spent countless hours researching beard products that had promising results and high ratings. As a man who sports a full beard year round, I’m constantly looking at ways to improve my facial hair. I have purchased and been less than impressed with the outcome of many of the products I have spent my hard earned money on, most of them costing between $25-$40 bucks. Pills, oils, combs, shampoos, conditioners…you get it!Growing a beard has never been my issue, but I am some what if a perfectionist and found myself wanting the thickest, fullest beard imaginable, a beard that would make Paul Bunyan envious. I had two areas in my beard that were probably not noticeable to others but I considered troubled area. One area was on the right side under my lip and the other my right sideburn near my temple. The hair would grow, but it was never as full, when my beard was trimmed down skin would be more visible than in other areas of my beard making me feel self conscious, and causing me to hyper focus on those two areas.The other reviews of this product stated, that with this product, over the course of approximately 6 weeks you would see a change in growth, with more hairs sprouting and a fuller overall beard. I started to apply this product to my two aforementioned areas back in August. I won’t lie, I wasn’t expecting much, but figured hey, what do I have to lose. The product is easy to apply, and I found myself adding it to my nightly regiment. After about 4 weeks, I am happy to say Istarted to notice the skin in those two areas was less visible. Now after about 2 months of use, this product continues to do nothing less than impress me. My beard is fuller, I have less beard itch, and my beard hair feels stronger and less brittle.If you are considering this product, it is not a gimmick.
