I am extremely busy these days. I always say I’m going to write reviews on products I buy, but I never get around to it. HOWEVER, this review was VERY important to me.This product has changed my life! And, I am being VERY serious. My hair is POPPIN’ – all day – every day!Now, I tried using this product, after washing my hair and getting out of the shower. It was daunting. You have to keep your hair soaked. AND, doing the process out of the shower is frustrating (e.g. You have to continue to spray your hair with water, as you section it, and keep it wet. And, you have to keep applying product, which gets messy when your interchanging the spray bottle water, sectioning your hair, keeping the towel around your shoulder…. Blah, blah, blah 😒 ).So, I tried something new. I did everything in the shower! This method is WAY easier than doing your hair after the fact.Bottom line: Your hair has to be soaking wet to get the best results.Follow the steps below if you want the same results!1. Wash hair and rinse as many times as needed. DON’T wash it like a straight haired person, by scrunching it and jostling it! Instead scrub your scalp, but keep in mind that your fingers should be pulling your hair downward (toward your shoulders). The more you ‘scrub’ your entire head of hair, the more you tangle it. If you really have 4C hair, you get what a hot mess of tangles you get after washing it. This is the only way to not tangle it;2. Apply detangling conditioner. Again, do not scrub your scalp. Just apply it, in several sections, from the crown downward, and finger detangle your entire hair in a downward motion;3. Rinse your hair, in a downward motion;4. Turn the shower water off and apply Miche to your hair, finger combing it in, in a downward motion, from root to tip, ensuring your are evenly distributing it. It doesn’t have to be a perfect distribution;5. As your hair starts to lose moisture, it will get harder to distribute the product. So, work as fast as possible, without tangling it;6. Once you have the product distributed, turn the shower water on and allow your hair a quick sprinkle. This will losen up the product and give your hair a foamy look;7. Work the product throughout your hair and continue finger detangling it until you are satisfied. You only need to add more product if you believe you missed a part of your hair;8. Once you have ensured the product is distributed and your hair is finger detangled, you should be able to see your hair hanging, due to the amount of water, and more curly than you’ve ever seen it;9. Place a plastic cap on your head and the shower yourself as usual;10. Apply a towel on top of the plastic cap on your head, when getting out of the shower and don’t take it off until after you’re dressed;11. Take the plastic cap off and arrange your hair in the style you want it to look like after it’s dried;12. Go under the hair dryer;11. Only break up the cast your hair has once it’s completely dry.I usually only sit under the dryer for 30 minutes. I live in California. So, I go on with my day and allow it to air dry. If it’s not completely dry by night, I use a diffuser. I do not put my fingers in my hair (or mess with it in any way) until it’s completely dry. And, the results are the same as sitting under the hot dryer.At night, I use about 8 satin scrunchies to gather my hair. Then, I apply a satin cap. In the morning, I take the scrunchies out and just arrange my hair the way I want it to look. That’s it! And, I can do this routine about 7-8 days.My hair is less than shoulder length. And, it’s growing FAST! Because I really don’t have to mess with my hair again until I wash it, with the exception of my nighttime and morning routines. I no longer use a comb or brush. I don’t need them. AND I HAVE 4C HAIR YA’ll! I almost feel like a straight haired person. 🤣 And, for the record. I am an executive, living in a pretty straight-haired world. So I’m all about looking coiffed as possible.My hair is SUPER coily without Miche. But with Miche, my coils have a wonderful curly pattern (tight and defined curls that hang)!! I get compliments damn near every day on my hair grade. I used to be SO frustrated with my hair. I tried every product out there. I’ve tried every night routine possible to wake up and have curly hair. It worked…. But, it took so damn long every night!I’ve been natural since 2012. And, I assure you. This product is all you’ll ever need once you learn how to apply it.

Really Good at Defining Hair

I have recently started trying to do wash & go’s and heard very good things about this product. I definitely feel like it gives my hair great hold and can last for a week. The consistency is very jelly like & I use the product in conjunction with their curl to foam mousse to get an extra hold. The product definitely defines my curls easily when I first used it I was shocked that it was defining it. Definitely will buy again.

Need a version of this W/O PINEAPPLE bc of sensitive skin

So I’m giving this 3 stars because it works amazing – left my 3b-3c hair moisturized with perfect defined curls and absolutely no flaking! So this is technically a great product and I can tell my hair would have lasted for the several days. UNFORTUNATELY, I had to wash it out within the day because I felt like my ears and hairline were burning. I broke out a little bit on my face and eyelids. Nothing crazy but definitely uncomfortable. The product list is short, so all I can think of is that pineapple extract, the second ingredient, is too much for my sensitive skin.Miche makes other gels, so I might try one of those of those if they don’t have pineapple.

Effective Curl Restoration Gel

I want to be completely honest about my experience with this product. My hair was shedding heavily, to the point where I thought I might have to cut it. I decided to apply this gel to soaking-wet hair immediately after stepping out of the shower, and it truly lives up to its claims. This gel absorbs water exceptionally well and the more water in your hair, the better it performs. Once applied, the dripping stops and the product locks in moisture, leaving hair highly hydrated.Within seconds, my natural curl pattern began to reappear, even in areas with breakage. It revived my curls and significantly reduced shedding almost immediately. This product genuinely saved my hair. While it is somewhat expensive, the jar is a good size. That said, if multiple people are using it, it will run out quickly.The scent is wonderful, and I am very grateful this product exists. I have many positive things to say about it. However, it is important to note that this is not a styling gel for slicking down edges, they will curl back up. This is not a traditional hold gel; it is designed specifically to restore and define curl patterns.The only downside I noticed was a slight crunch once the hair dried. Aside from that, this product is a true lifesaver and works well on 4C hair. This is one of the few products that does what it says. This is my second bottle and I will continue to buy more.
