LOVE this brush!
I have owned multiple boar bristle brushes but this one is probably my favorite. Boar bristle brushes are great for distributing oils through the hair. This one works great for that! The plastic bristles are also super nice. They have a rounded tip that feels so nice on the scalp. It feels like a nice massage. This brush is super well made too. The wood is nice and sturdy. I love the way it looks. I initially thought this small brush would be kind of useless but I was so wrong!It is the perfect size to fit comfortably in my hand and the handle gives a nice grip point.They included a brush cleaner which works moderately well. I also love that they included two scrunchies that are really nice.Everything comes in a very nice, thick gift box with tissue paper. So it’s very nice for gifting.I love this brush and will likely consider purchasing them for gifts in the future.

Annoying nylon “pins” mixed in with the boar bristles ruin this for me. It’s a cat brush now.
Looks like I’m going to be the odd man out here and disagree with the praise I’ve read about this. I’ll come right out and say it: this is an expensive pet brush. The only good thing I can say about it is that the wood is pretty. Beyond that, even though my cat thinks it’s the best thing since catnip, this brush is a total waste of money.Including nylon pins among the boar bristles doesn’t reduce static, it causes static. The brush is too small to use with long hair. The short handle is more like a knob than a handle and, while appropriate for a travel brush because it saves space, it makes the brush difficult to use because it is so uncomfortable to hold. I have to hold the brush by the back, behind the bristles like using a horse’s curry comb.As someone who has had mid- to lower back length hair for decades, I appreciate and always use a boar bristle brush. Boar bristles help control static, they’re gentle on my hair, and they stimulate my scalp — and the boar bristles in this brush would do all of that if they hadn’t mixed in beaded-end nylon bristles. Who thought that would be a good idea? The nylon bristles are longer than the boar bristles and, although they’re flexible, they actually prevent the boar bristles from making complete/continuous contact with my scalp. I also find it extremely annoying that the bristles are embedded in a raised flexible “pad” that never looks or feels totally clean. The little cleaning brush that’s included does NOT completely clean that raised pad either. I’ve always cleaned my Fuller Brush brand boar bristle brushes by soaking them in a basin of soapy water for a few minutes once a week but I can’t do that with this brush because water seeps behind the raised part and it never totally dries out. I simply won’t use a brush that I can’t clean thoroughly.

Small and compact but works great
I’ve been needing a small brush to keep in my bag when I travel and this one is perfect. The natural boar bristles smooth the hair nicely, while the plastic bristles brush out any tangles, so it’s the best of both worlds. The wooden handle fits nicely in my hand, which makes it easy to brush my hair. I especially like the compact size so I can easily keep it in my bag and have it handy at all times, including when traveling. It also comes with a tiny cleaning brush, which is a nice bonus. Also included in this set are two satin scrunchies, which I found so thoughtful. This is an all-around nice brush set and so handy.

Such a Cute Little Brush — I Finally Understand the Boar Bristle Hype
I have to admit, I never really understood the whole boar bristle brush thing until I tried one myself. This brush is actually really nice, and I love how it comes packaged. It comes in a nice box, which makes it feel more special than just receiving a basic hairbrush, and it also includes a little small comb/cleaning brush that you can use to clean out the bristles.The wood is probably one of my favorite things about it. It has that really nice, smooth, natural look and feels good in your hand. I also love that it is small because you can easily throw it in your purse or bag without carrying around a huge hairbrush. It would also be really convenient for traveling.I also learned something new about boar bristles from using this. Apparently, they have been used for centuries, and there is even a bit of history behind them being considered a luxury item. The directions recommend brushing for about 2–3 minutes a day and starting at the ends of your hair and working your way upward. I actually like that because it makes you slow down instead of just attacking your hair with a brush like I normally do 😂.When I follow the directions and start at the bottom, the brush feels really smooth going through my hair. It helps smooth everything out and leaves my hair looking nice and brushed without that super aggressive feeling you can get from some brushes.One thing I will be honest about: I would not describe the bristles as a super gentle scalp massage. If the bristles hit my scalp directly, it can actually hurt a little. So I personally prefer keeping it more on the hair and starting at the ends rather than pushing it down into my scalp. Once I figured that out, I had a much better experience with it.Overall, I really like this little brush. The wooden handle, compact size, packaging, included cleaning brush, and the whole traditional feel make it really cute. I also like that it feels like something a little different from the typical plastic hairbrush. Beautiful and Well Made!
This Mini Boar Bristle Hair Brush for Women, Natural Wood Small Brush Set by Divilah arrived in a lovely presentation gift type box.The set included 2 satin scrunchies, the small brush with a handle and a smaller wide tooth comb like brush to clean your hairbrush after each use. I included pictures to illustrate all the pieces and an up close shot of the card explaining its origin and instructions for use.I will say that when I first used the brush as instructed from the bottom up, the static was crazy! I continued using it and sure enough, the static subsided and my hair felt really soft and was definitely shiny. I have a head full of fine hair that sheds on par with any Golden Retriever. I definitely need to use the cleaner brush to remove my “deposited hair” from the brush after each use. I don’t seem to have the time to brush the way instructed during my mornings but I find it is great to do when sitting down in front of the TV in the evening. I have also found that my hair looks better in the morning after doing this. I will disclose that I sleep on a silk pillowcase and using the brush the night before shows a notable “out of bed” improvement over just sleeping on silk!This would make a lovely and appreciated gift for anyone, but for me it is a keeper and all mine!

I have very fine hair that I’ve always worn short, but I’ve recently been growing it out. Because of that, I decided for the first time in my life that I was actually going to establish a nightly ritual- taking a few minutes every single evening to properly brush my hair.I was pleasantly surprised by the brush itself as soon as I picked it up. For its compact size, it has a nice, substantial weight and feels wonderfully comfortable in the hand. Better yet, my scalp seems to love the extra attention. The shorter boar bristles work effectively to distribute natural oils down the length of my hair, while the longer, tipped pins feel deeply soothing and massaging against my scalp.Even though I’ve only been using it for a few days at bedtime, my hair already looks and feels noticeably healthier and shinier from the routine. At $29.99, it does sit a bit on the pricey side for a travel-sized brush, but given the real, visible benefits I’m already seeing, it is well worth the investment and I have no complaints.

This Divilah Mini Boar Bristle Hair Brush is well-designed and works well at giving your hair a nice and polished look. It can be used to smooth down hairstyles, and I prefer using it on my hair after it is combed, since my hair is curly. This brush is the perfect size for travel. It is durable, and the use of boar’s hair is more gentle and prevents split ends. The brush measures 5.98 inches long and 2.95 inches wide. It fits comfortably in my hands, and the paddle of the brush is wide enough to brush the hair comfortably. I like the overall design and aesthetic of the brush. This brush set also comes with accessories, such as these beautiful satin hair scrunchies. I really feel like I found a useful styling tool, and I see this becoming one of my favorite hair care items.

This brush is incredible, I honestly don’t know why it took me so long to get a boar bristle brush. The wooden handle feels sturdy and luxurious, and the brush is very effective. I have curly hair that I never brush, or maybe just once out of the shower, but my little girl has long straight hair and this has made brushing and styling her hair an absolute dream. Packaging was nice, also came with 2 hair ties, I think this could make a nice gift. Her hair looks softer and shinier immediately after brushing, which was not the case with the brush I was using before. 10/10 would recommend.
