Touch ups maybe but not full straightening.
I’m conflicted on this one, I feel like calling it a straightener doesn’t really work. I have wavy hair that is kind of thick and gets frizzy easily. This wouldn’t take my hair from air dryed to straight but would help with touch ups or to reduce frizz after already being straight. It gets hot but not dangerously so and automatically shuts off after a few minutes. The auto shutoff is good if it’s forgotten and thrown in a bag but it doesn’t stay on long enough for a full straighten which also makes me lean more toward touch ups. It is portable and easy to use and was affordable so I will bring it traveling with me. If it were more expensive I would have returned it but honestly I can’t be bothered. I think the concept is great but there’s improvements to be made for it to be as expected.

Amazing concept. Needs some tweaks to get it perfect, but still good.
I gave this an extra star just because I love the concept of this, the idea of this. It charges up super easily. It looks nice sitting out on my daughter’s vanity. It’s super portable. You can throw this in your bag. You can use it for traveling. It would be good at work on your desk, so the concept of it is amazing.I just don’t know if the heat level of it is enough to truly straighten hair. I guess if you really hold it on there and go slow, it’s decent for touch-ups. It does take charge for a little while. I just wish it got hotter. The size is good, just kind of fits in the palm of your hand. If you’re looking for this to be hot enough to truly straighten your hair, then you really have to hold the hair out, press it pretty hard against it, and go really slow. It does work, so in a pinch, it works. I would say give some kind of smoothing if you’re using it on combed hair to sort of run through and smooth down frizz and stuff. From that standpoint, it has value in that.Love the idea. Could use some tweaks. If you’re looking for something to throw in your purse to just tame down your frizz on a humid day, this is probably pretty good. It seems to be decent quality. It feels well-made. The lid is good, so the quality is good. It just maybe needs a more powerful battery to provide more heat, or just a battery that doesn’t last as long but puts out more heat output? Not sure.

Get This if You are Always Running Late.
I love this little hair straightener. It takes a minute to heat up, but gets quite hot, in my opinion. I love that it can slip into a purse for a quick trip out. I have slightly wavy hair, but it still takes a bit of heat to straighten. I generally will put my hair up and straighten face framing and bangs. This works well for that. I think this is a great value. I’m really shocked it’s so inexpensive, to be honest. This would make a great stocking stuffer for a woman or teen girl.

This is a good idea. But this mini hair straightener did nothing to my hair. I have thick wavy hair and it did nothing to it. Maybe if you have thiner hair it would work. But not for me

Frizz Control > Straightening
I think a lot of people are getting this expecting a mini version of a traditional hair straightener, and that’s probably where some of the lower ratings come from. This is geared for taming frizz, smoothing flyaways, and minor detangling despite the name. It’s for sure not going to straighten a full head of hair, but it does a surprisingly good job of flattening and smoothing my frizz.My hair tends to get frizzy throughout the day, and this is perfect for touch ups when I’m out and about. The compact, cordless design makes it easy to toss in my bag without having to worry about finding an outlet. It has three heat settings ranging from 160–200°C (320–392°F) and warms up quickly. The small size is actually a benefit for targeting specific areas rather than trying to style your entire head (I like to run it through my ponytail). One thing to keep in mind is that the directions specifically say not to use it with wet hands or with hair products, so I’ve heeded that warning.If you go into this counting on full size straightener capabilities, you’ll probably be disappointed. But if you think of it as a portable frizz control and smoothing tool, it really does do a decent job.

Great Concept, but could get hotter
I really like the concept of this mini cordless hair straightener. The compact size and cordless design make it extremely convenient, especially for traveling or keeping in a desk drawer at work. The USB-C charging is another nice feature since it makes it easy to charge without needing a special cord. I also like that it has three heat settings and warms up fairly quickly.My biggest issue is that it just does not get hot enough for me. I wouldn’t rely on it to completely straighten my hair from start to finish, especially if you have thicker hair or hair that requires higher heat. However, I do think it works well for quick touch-ups throughout the day. It would be great for smoothing a few pieces, fixing your bangs, touching up around your face, or getting rid of small areas of frizz.This would be especially handy to keep at work for days when your hair needs a little help after being outside in humidity or bad weather. It’s also small enough to toss into a purse, overnight bag, or suitcase without taking up much room.Overall, I’m giving it 4 stars because it’s a great idea and very convenient, but I wish it reached a higher temperature. If you’re looking for something portable for occasional touch-ups, this is a useful little straightener. I just wouldn’t expect it to replace a full-size hair straightener for everyday styling.
