Gives a Softer, More Hydrated Beard.
I was surprised how much I like this – I thought it was just going to be some liquid soap. However, it smells pleasant – not flowery at all – and really does soften the beard. Mine is old and grey and somewhat dry if I don’t use beard oil on it. I find I don’t have to use the oil as often as this hydrates my beard and face quite well so I can go without for a couple of days. It rinses out well enough – even if I am using a sink wash, rather than in the shower. Splash a few handfuls of water on and finish with a facecloth and it’s all gone. I can’t say I have noticed an appreciable amount of growth increase as yet. I’m happy with the hydration and softness it gives the beard, which, in turn, helps keep it neater as I don’t seem to have the unruly hairs poking out – they lay down well. Economical in use as you don’t need a lot.Can recommend.

You only need one drop
I recently got the MistySprite beard conditioner, so I naturally ordered their shampoo. I’ve been using both MistySprite products now for almost a month, every time I shower and I’ve noticed a difference. Although my beard hasn’t grown any faster, my beard has gotten a little fuller and it is a lot softer. Plus, it has a nice smell, that lasts throughout the day. When using these products, you only need one small drop of each. Both their shampoo and conditioner really lather up when you rub them into your beard. If you apply any more product, you’ll only be wasting it. They also recommend that you leave each product in your beard for 3 to 5 minutes before rinsing. This step is important, so the Biotin can soak into the hairs. While waiting, I’ll usually brush my teeth, soap my body and shave my neck, to keep my beard’s perimeter neat. After using regular hair shampoo and conditioner for over 40 years on my beard, I’ve really noticed a difference since switching. At this point, I don’t think I can go back to using hair products on my beard again. It’s something I never knew I needed. Although they are a little pricey, each bottle will last a very long time, as you only need one tiny drop per application. If you have facial hair, you really need to try MistySprite’s shampoo and conditioner. You’ll feel the difference after you regularly use it.

Softer hair, a little goes a long way.
It smells great and it really lathers up, so you only need a tiny bit. You have to let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing so it can really soak in and do its thing. I haven’t noticed any difference in growth though. It absolutely does make my beard feel great, the hair is softer. But it grows the same. So I do recommend it, but it’s because it makes your beard softer. Don’t buy this expecting faster hair growth, because that probably isn’t happening.

Nice smelling product!
The “MistySprite 5% Biotin Beard Shampoo for Men, Thickening & Volumizing Formula – Soothes Itchy Skin, Hydrates & Softens Dry Coarse Facial Hair, 6.7 oz Spring Bloom Scent” is a Biotin or Vitamin B7 based product with a whole bunch of ingredients which are mostly natural. The product smells good.The pump is shipped separate and you need to remove the seal, remove the cap and install the pump. I installed the pump but just could not get the thing to open. I then had to remove it, clean it, hold the bottom part with a towel and then rotate the top part – it finally opened. After that it worked like a charm.Provides a soothing feeling but did notice much of thickening. A bit on the pricey side at $29.99, at the time of this review.

After a few weeks of use, it leaves facial hair feeling significantly softer, cleaner, and much more manageable. Additionally, incorporating this formula into a regular routine might trigger unexpected acne breakouts or skin irritation depending on your specific skin type. It remains a highly capable cleansing agent, though individuals prone to blemishes should proceed with caution.

Better than regular shampoo for his beard
I gave this to my husband to try, and he liked it. He said it made his beard feel cleaner than using regular shampoo, which makes sense because beard hair and the skin underneath can need something a little more targeted.It lathered well enough to feel like it was actually cleaning, but it didn’t leave his beard feeling stripped or rough. The pump bottle is also convenient for keeping in the shower and using without fuss.This is a good option if you want a dedicated beard wash instead of just using whatever shampoo is already in the shower. As someone with a very short beard/stubble, I figured it wouldn’t be a miracle growth product, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how much thickness I’ve achieved by using this for a handful of weeks so far. I’d argue I saw thickening results within a week’s time. It leaves the skin beneath my stubble moisturized, non flaky, and I’ve had less ingrown hairs as well. The immediate scent, itself, reminds me of a subtle orange creamsicle vibe (I personally like it); if you want unscented, I promise this is virtually undetectable once you’ve dried off.Definitely a keeper for me. It’s done wonders to help my beard actually grow longer than what resembles a teen boy’s. I got my money’s worth with this one for sure.

Better than expected, a little goes along way….
I can already grow a full on beard from under my eyes to down my neck full coverage even under my lip so coverage is not an issue. I do trim it down to stylish lengths and lines though. What I do seek is a thicker, softer fuller beard so this is where biotin comes into the picture.I’ve been using this MistySprite for a ~21 days now (maybe a touch longer?) and I like it.It lathers up very quickly for a small amount to give good coverage. Two pumps is enough to cover my entire face and I like the almost neutral like scent and the way it works in. I usually wet my beard and work it in then shave and brush my teeth before hopping in the shower so I get a solid 5-10 minutes of soak time.I like the way it looks and feels after and coupled with a good biotin beard butter (or oil if you prefer), it is a nice one/two punch.

Great product!
Really like this stuff, have been using it for a couple weeks now. I like to apply and massage it in for a few minutes, and doing other things before hopping in the shower. The end result for me personally is a nicer softer feel and cleaner beard. It does not cause any dryness or skin irritations for me at all. It also smells pretty pleasant. It is a pretty small bottle but it is pretty thick and you only need maybe one pump or maybe two if you have thick beard. I would probably also give it a quick shake especially on the first use. Bottle pump works well and does not leak out so that’s bonus. Overall very happy with this product.

ANOTHER WAY TO ADD BIOTIN TO YOUR BEARD ROUTINE – PAIR IT WITH BIOTIN BEARD OIL FOR BEST RESULTS
I have been using MistySprite products for nearly two years now. This beard wash product is a brand new offering from them, so I was very curious about it. What is especially intriguing is that it’s yet another way to add biotin to my beard care routine.I want to express that this product requires a level of commitment. This is because you need to massage the soap into your beard for 3 to 5 minutes. For me, when getting ready is the morning, that’s kind of a long time. HOWEVER, if you want to grow a thick beard, it’s going to require some effort on your part.Also, when massaging the soap into your beard for that long, you may end up with some of your skin flaking (which can create beard “dandruff”). To avoid that, it’s crucial that you use a beard oil. My favorite is MistySprite “Citrus Serenity.” It also contains biotin, so I’m including a picture of my beard washed and oiled to show the result of these biotin products.I remember, long ago when my beard was just coming in, a good friend warned me to keep my beard well oiled to avoid itchy, flaky skin (he had to shave his off and start over because the itchiness was unbearable for him).Overall, I am very pleased with this product. My beard feels well-conditioned. Paired with a proper beard oil, you can’t go wrong.

Nice shampoo, did nothing for my dandruff
I’m generally pretty happy with this shampoo. You only need a little bit so the bottle goes a long way. It does moderately soften beard hair- I stopped using beard oil while using it to see how much of an effect it would have, and it improved the softness and texture of my beard alone. Best to use it with beard oil. The odour is very mild, it rinses out well.My only real beef is that the bottle claims it “eliminates dandruff” but it definitely did not. I live in a dry climate and I’m prone to beard dandruff and this did not help at all. To be clear, I did NOT use it every day, that’s really hard on your skin. I used it about 3 times a week for several weeks, and I’m still struggling with flakes.
