Softer straighter 4c hair
I’ve used this shampoo and conditioner a few times now and I feel like it makes my hair straighter, faster to blow-dry, and flat iron. Once my hair is straight it also tends to stay straighter longer. It has a nice vanilla smell and I don’t need to use a ton of it to coat my very thick shoulder length hair. My curl pattern in it’s natural state also seems more defined. The only reason I rated 4 stars instead of 5 is because the price is now $8 more than when I initially ordered. Otherwise I really like the product.

I’m nearing the end of my first bottles of both Silk18 Shampoo and Silk18 Conditioner and am quite impressed. I have been searching for the last few years for a shampoo and conditioner that would leave my hair feeling clean and not weighted down, would be free of questionable ingredients such as parabens and sulfates,would not damage my hair, and would not make my very sensitive scalp itch. Since using the Silk18 Shampoo and Conditioner my scalp has finally stopped itching, the breakage is slowly lessening, and my hair has become really soft! I’m hoping that with continued use my hair will only continue to improve.

What a find!!!
So – I will start off by saying I get very pricey hair extensions installed (hand tied/high quality hair) and finding something that moisturizes hair that is not getting the natural oils from you is hard. Also, putting the wrong products on hair extensions can be a nightmare because they are specially coated for longevity, etc. and you don’t want a product that will strip them or a product that will be too heavy and leave residue/product build up behind.That being said, my natural hair is intertwined with the extensions and I would battle with finding something that doesn’t weigh my natural hair down as well as moisturizing and detangling enough for both the extensions and my natural hair. I stumbled across this after searching for a “curl” conditioner (aka extra moisture/deep conditioning) and figured for the price, considering I had tried numerous salon products ($$$) that weren’t meeting the cut, I purchased the shampoo and conditioner and anxiously awaited their arrival.The first time I washed and conditioned (including brushing the conditioner through my hair with a wet brush, letting it sit for about 5 minutes and then rinsing) and I thought “… there’s no way) because in the shower my hair felt incredibly soft and silky; I thought this was either just because of the water, or it was going to be so terrible once I started to try drying it.That being said, I wrapped it up in my hair wrap to let it dry for a bit and when it came time to blow dry the remaining bit, I sprayed one or two pumps of my detangler that I regularly use and went at it.MY. HAIR. IS. SO. SOFT!!!Will be a continued purchaser of this product for sure – no bad ingredients, not damaging to my hair, doesn’t weigh it down, etc. and you get the clean hair without the stripping! I am two days after washing as well and still feel clean and light and soft – I am sold and I have done everything from Alterna to Biolage to Briogeo to Dermorganic and then some 50 others. This stuff is totally worth it!

Amazing shampoo and conditioner!
I am not paid for my review . I absolutely love both shampoo and conditioner! I have super dry bleached hair I could not find a remedy for….masks treatment whatever I spent money on was not good enough. This turned out to be best for my hair , it feels so soft and not like straw 🙂 I love this product . So not sure about people who didn’t like it I guess we all have different hair 🙂 but I will keep buying this . Smells like heaven too !

Helps fight frizz, create softness, and add shine
This product smells amazing! It works well with my natural curl to fight frizz while also helping my hair feel soft. It also makes my hair shiny. I love it! I often don’t rinse the Silk 18 conditioner out fully. I leave it in and allow my hair to dry naturally. (Sometimes I add some mousse while it is still wet.) This product does a great job.

Good shampoo. but not for flyaway hair
It cleans well, makes hair soft and smells really good. But it doesn’t help with flyaway hair. In fact, it made mine worse. It’s a shame…I was really hoping this would be my future shampoo.

Silky soft hair
I really like this shampoo and conditioner. It makes my hair feel so silky and clean. The product lasts a very long time and I have long hair. In addition I don’t have as many tangles like I have with other shampoos/conditioners. There is not much of a smell which I think is better. I have had compliments. I will continue using this product.
