    Good shampoo&conditioner, bad pump

    I’ll start by mentioning that the conditioner pump does not work. It wasn’t damaged in shipment or anything, it just doesn’t depress, which is extremely annoying. For the cost, quality control should be better.However, I will buy this again because:1) It smells pleasant…. not perfumey at all, but lightly floral. The scent doesn’t last, though.2) The shampoo is clarifying but not stripping. Another reviewer mentioned that their hair felt somewhat rough after shampooing, but I think that’s the effect of a clarifying shampoo (although I don’t think it was described that way anywhere in the product description). The awesome effect is soft, light hair. I have some natural curl, but over the years it’s become inconsistent so I straighten my hair. This shampoo seems to have restored my curls/waves because it got rid of the heavy buildup. I haven’t let it dry naturally yet after this shampoo, but I have high hopes. I did use some heatless curlers and my curls lasted all day and, again, I think it’s because the buildup wasn’t weighing them down. I also color my hair, and this shampoo doesn’t strip the color. My hair is waist length medium fine and I only need 3 pumps to get a nice lather.3) The conditioner is almost as good as the stuff that comes with my hair color. Tangles/combability is always the concern with long hair and this conditioner makes combing through pretty easy, although I still use Biosilk leave-in. I use a good size dollop…. I have no idea how many pumps, because the pump doesn’t work! (Still feeling salty about this lol)I like it.

It is the ideal scent that is like a perfume – but a very clean one. If everyone smelt like this, all of the world’s problems would be solved.Easy: When using normal shampoo and conditioner, it takes a moment to get the knots out of your hair and to smooth it back down. With MONDAY, it is easy and takes a lot less time. My hair is thin, but it sort of makes it feel thick again!Look: It dries quickly and nicely! Making waves or straight hair, whatever you want.Overall, this product is definitely worth 5 stars. It is WORTH it.P.S. I was low-key a little bit nervous when I ordered it, seeing a few of the 1 star reviews, but don’t be! It is a dream.

    Great for damaged hair!

    I have damaged hair from frequent colour changes (box dye, salon colouring, and most recently bleaching to lighten) and wanted to help my hair look and feel better. The shampoo lathers nicely (I double shampoo) and the conditioner is super silky and leaves my hair feeling amazing after without being weighed down or oily. Love love LOVE this set and will continue to purchase. The bottles are solid and the pumps work great, too, which I know with other brands isn’t always the case.

    I’m giving 5 stars buuuut…

    Okay so I bought this with high hopes and low expectations. All the reviews seemed to be exactly what I needed in a shampoo and conditioner set. I have very unruly hair. Most people don’t think my hair does what I say it does because it doesn’t look the texture. For instance I have to normally brush my hair at least 3 times a day, or it will naturally start forming dreads. During winter months I tend to put in wool dreads that I make just to not have to deal with the hassle. My hair is wavy/curly/straight in different parts (its a nightmare) and extremely thick but with fine strands. My baby hairs are extra fine and curls so my hair gets very frizzy. I have never, ever, been able to brush my hair while wet.So my favorite things about this set, for the first time in my life, I was able to brush it while wet.The scent is nice, definitely floral, but its not overpowering. On the downside it doesn’t seem the scent lasts in the hair very long, but that’s not a deal breaker for me.My hair felt lighter and looked even fuller after the first use.Immediately after first use, my baby hairs and frizziness seem to be more manageable at first but it didnt take it away.(Which is the main reason I wanted to try it, but I’m hopeful maybe after a couple more washes it might help? I don’t know, and honestly even if it doesn’t take it away, it has soooo many other pros that I may still order it again once I’ve finished these bottles. I plan to update once I have finished them to let yall know if prolonged use helps with the frizzy factor or not.)My hair still started to dread, buuut it was much easier to brush out than usualOverall even if it doesn’t help with the frizz, I think its been a long time since I’ve been happy with my shampoo and conditioner. So I don’t regret this buy for a second. And I would highly recommend it, but for frizzy factor alone I don’t know if its just my hair or what, or again maybe I just need to see where its at by the time I finish this set.

    Wow. Very impressed with this shampoo and conditioner combo. I am in my 50’s and have natural non-dyed blonde-going-gray hair that tends to be dry and fine. I swim a lot in a salt water pool, and have thyroid issues which exacerbates the dryness. This hair care pair is wonderful. Smells fresh and warm and clean, leaves my hair super clean and smooth and shiny without being greasy or oily feeling. Doesn’t leave lots of buildup like some repair-type shampoos. The price is fantastic for the quality and quantity. The pump dispensers are really great, and the bottles are stylish and look nice in both my walk in shower and my tub. The thickness and shape of the bottles also prevents them from tipping over or falling on my feet (!!) which is fabulous and I intend to keep backups on hand.

    I’ve been using Monday Haircare shampoo for a few weeks now and I really like it! My hair feels softer, cleaner, and looks shinier without feeling heavy.
