These little pads actually make taking off stubborn gel polish so much easier!
I snagged these gel nail polish remover pads from the vine program cause my young kid is always begging me to paint her nails and I love doing my own gel manicures at home to save money. Honestly taking the tough gel polish off is usually a huge annoying chore that takes forever but these little pads actually work realy good. U get fifty of them in the box and they are all individually wrapped which is super convenient so they dont dry out before u get a chance to use them all.The instructions are pretty easy to follow for a quick home manicure. U just use a nail file to scratch up the top shiny layer of your gel polish first and then u stick your finger right into the little soaked pad wrapper and fold it tight. I usually sit on the couch and watch a quick cartoon with my toddler while I let them soak for about ten or fifteen minutes. After that u just pull them off and the old polish wipes away super easy with a little metal scraper tool without completely ruining my natural nails underneath.If ur someone who only wears regular cheap nail polish and wants something done in two seconds u should probly just use a normal bottle of liquid remover cause these take a little bit of time to soak. But if u use thick gel or UV polish at home and u want a clean easy way to take it off without making a huge stinky acetone mess I completely recommend them. They are so handy to keep in a bathroom drawer and they definitely get the job done!

The pads are tiny and too thin, they ripped apart as soon as I tried to use them. They left lint all over my nails and didn’t even get the gel off after 20 minutes. Useless.

Convenient, Removes Gel Nails Easily
First and foremost, the box does not come with any instructions. It was only after I used them and came to the product page to review them that I noticed that the instructions are actually within the photos of the product page.That being said, I used them the way one would normally use acetone soaked pads to remove gel polish. And they worked perfectly fine! Because my nails had only two coats, a base coat and clear glitter top coat, I cut the pads in half before placing them on my nails under the clips. If my nails had full color sandwiched between the two, I’d definitely have needed and used the full pad to remove the polish.I first buffed my nails to remove the shine, applied the polish remover pads, waited 15 minutes, and then used a wooden orange stick to gently scrape off the loosened polish. My nails are now naked and happy!At $10 for 50 pads, these are priced competitively. While purchasing pre-soaked acetone pads is an expensive alternative to using acetone and cotton pads, they are convenient and work exactly as expected. No terrible smell, by the way!Since I now know that you can use the packets, instead of foil or clips, to keep the pads close to the nail, these are an ideal on-the-go quick and easy solution for nail care and maintenance. I plan on keeping a set of them in my travel cosmetic case.Update: It was only after I needed to remove polish again that I noticed there was a sheet of instructions tucked into the back of the box. I used the pads as intended, with the packets being foils to wrap around the nail. The packets DO indeed squash down nicely against the nail, and the effect is identical to using the clips. The Morovan Gel Polish Remover Pads work exactly as advertised.

The larger pad size gives me good coverage over each nail and helps keep the remover in close contact with the gel. Each pad comes individually sealed, so I can open only the number I need without exposing the rest of the set to air. The compact packets are easy to store with my other nail supplies and also work well for travel. These remover pads make the gel soak-off process feel cleaner, simpler, and more portable. The generous pad size, fully soaked material, secure wrapping method, and individual seals all add practical convenience to the overall design.

I prefer acetone to remove nail polish, gel or not. These Morovan Gel Nail Polish Remover Pads: 50 Acetone Wipes for Soak-Off UV/LED Gel Polish are perfect to slip into a bag or a suitcase for travel. Because they are individually wrapped, you don’t have to worry about spills, which could be nasty with acetone. The fully soaked pads also contain aloe vera and glycerin. I don’t really notice any difference from plain acetone, but perhaps it will cause them to dry out less. The pads are 3 1/2″ square and depending on what you’re removing, you may only need one or two pads. Half a pad took off one hand’s worth of regular polish. If you need to remove something more stubborn, like gel polish, you can use the packet as a foil, but it’s not that efficient. You’d be better off to cut up the pad and use actual foils. There are 50 pads for $9.99, so it’s not a bad value for the convenience of the individual pads.
