This is a review for 8K8’s Hair Oil for Frizz Control, Dry Hair, Shine, Coarse Curly Wavy Hair Care-3.4oz | Leave-in Argon hair oil for dry ends, color-treated, bleached hair & extensions; daily styling, glossy finish.Nice hair product. I got this for a family member that has curly hair that becomes frizzy at any change in the weather or humidity. She is actually happy about how her hair looks, but is always looking for control for the frizz. And this product delivers control very nicely.It is easy to apply, and in this instance, less is actually more – too much and the hair becomes limp and dank, so a little goes a long way. It comes in a small bottle, only 3.4 oz, but that will last for years and years.It works well. a few drops, massaged into wet hair after the shower, then let dry or even blow-dry, I guess. It makes the curls softer, easier to manage, and controls the frizz well. Despite being an oil, if it is used in very small amounts, it does not make the hair feel or look oily. But it does add a bit of shine to the hair, which is usually a welcomed improvement.My family member like this product, and is using it every time after she washes her hair. And I can attest that her head of curls has never looked better.

I should have known that adding an oil to my hair would leave it oily. I have fine hair. This kind of product doesn’t work for me. I don’t hold it against the product. I just wasn’t thinking. I’m sure this product would be great for someone who has coarse, curly hair. Don’t let my ignorance stop you from getting it. It’s a nice oil. I just don’t have the hair for it. If they claimed it was for people like me, I’d give it a scathing review. They don’t though. I can’t definitely see how it might be nice for someone with coarse hair. It coats nicely.

Shine and light frizz control. Strong smell.
The first thing you notice is the perfume fragrance of this hair oil. It stays overly fragrant on your skin but the smell does dissipate on your hair. The second thing is how light weight and dry feeling the product is. It comes out as an oil but it is not slick or greasy. Rub your hand together and the product is dry touch. It did add shine and has light frizz control. The benefits disappear as the hours go by.

Excellent Hydration and Frizz Control
I used this product as directed, applying a small amount to damp hair before styling to help manage dry ends and tame frizz.What I particularly liked about the product is its lightweight formula. Unlike some heavier oils that leave hair feeling weighed down or greasy, this 3.4oz argan oil absorbs smoothly and leaves a clean, natural shine. It did a fantastic job of smoothing out frizz and keeping my dry ends looking hydrated and healthy throughout the day, even with color-treated hair. The scent is also pleasant without being overpowering.I didn’t run into any significant dislikes, though as with most concentrated hair oils, it is easy to over-apply—so starting with just a few drops is key.In summary, this leave-in argan hair oil is a reliable and effective addition to a daily hair care routine. Its ability to control frizz and moisturize dry ends without a greasy residue makes it well worth keeping on hand.

Helps moisturize and repair dry hair
This Moroccan Hair Oil does a great job moisturizing and controlling dry air. While the product advertising on wet or dry hair, I’ve found better results applying the product on wet hair after the shower, helping lock in the moister and define more curls and definition. The product does have a sheen, but does not look greasy, rather after thoroughly working in the product, it at the hair looking healthy and smooth when dried. Additionally, the product smells good and is a thin oily consistency that’s easy to work with and wash out. Would Recommend!

Super moisturizing Argan Oil for hair
Argan Oil has a nickname of “liquid gold” because of its moisturizing properties for hair and skin. This 8K8 Argan Oil is no exception. After application to my hair, it immediately moisturized my curly hair without weighing it down. It also gave my hair a glass-like shine that is hard to do with curly hair.The bottle came with a tight plastic seal to prevent spills. I appreciate this quality but it did take me a few minutes to wedge the bottle open with a knife. The bottle came with a cap but an alternate pump was also provided. I tried for a few minutes but could not attach the pump to the bottle. I stuck with the original pump, which isn’t a problem. The pump wasn’t necessary.The fragrance of 8K8 Argan Oil is clean, natural and enduring. It smells wonderful.This Argan Oil is high quality and a great buy. It works well to moisturize hair and create shine.

It has the same general color, consistency, and scent, and it performs very similarly on my hair.The biggest difference is the price, because this is considerably more reasonably priced. It works well for smoothing my hair and adding shine, and it has a really nice scent without being overpowering.If you like the more expensive salon hair oils but don’t want to spend quite as much, I think this is a great alternative. So far, I’m very happy with it and a little goes a long way without leaving your hair greasy.

No Ingredient List, So I Will Not Use This Product.
I ordered this hair oil because I love products with argan oil. I was immediately concerned by the total lack of basic information on the packaging. There is no ingredient list anywhere on the bottle or box. Retail cosmetics sold to consumers are required to have an ingredient declaration for obvious reasons.Sure, the packaging mentions Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Lactobacillus Ferment Lysate, and Hippophae Rhamnoides Fruit Oil, but does not provide the industry standard complete list of ingredients. Comparable hair product containing argan oil and Lactobacillus ferment lysate can also contain silicones, solvents, other oils, preservatives, fragrance, glycols, etc. People can have serious allergies and sensitivities to all sorts of different things, so the ingredient declaration matters.This is a product intended to be used and left on the hair and scalp, and I am not comfortable applying any sort of cosmetic product that I cannot easily determine what it’s comprised of in full.The product states that it was made in China and provides a U.S. business address, but there no additional contact information, which is very unusual. I’ve reviewed hundreds of skin care, beauty and makeup products and there has only been a couple of times where a product is missing it’s formulation and/or contact information.I also could not find a manufacture or expiration date, which isn’t not necessarily required on a cosmetic, but the absence of any dating information adds an additional layer to my concerns about the overall lack of transparency.What really irks me is that the style and color choices of the packaging here are similar to popular, reputable hair care products. It is not an accident either. It’s meant to give to give the vibe of those premium products. Some consumers might order this as an affordable alternative to something like morroccanoil, because those similarities can give you a false sense of security, making this feel familiar and safe, like picking up a comparable generic product made by established store brand. It may very well be safe or great, but no one is going to know what is actually inside of the liquid in that dark brown bottle.I have included photos of the entire bottle and box, front and back (the sides, top and bottom of both are blank) so buyers can see for themselves the information, and lack thereof provided to me in the product I received after ordering, and hopefully make a better informed decision for themselves.I won’t use this product without knowing its complete formulation, so I cannot and will not recommend it. I hope that this company fixes this glaring issue as soon as possible, not only because it’s the right thing to do, but I am certain that I won’t be the last consumer to feel this way.
