Good size bar, on or with my regular liquid shampoo, a bit overly scented
I gave this a good untainted test run because I typically don’t use conditioner in the south Florida humidity. My hair feels just like it does with the regular liquid shampoo I use, soft and silky, again, just this shampoo at alone. Lathers up quickly and easily, lots of it, and the bar still looks as if it hasn’t been used yet! Given that this bar is a good size, much bigger than I was expecting, this will likely be a VERY long lasting bar. Rinses very well without any residue like a lot of natural shampoo bars I’ve used. It somewhat gave that “squeaky clean” feel when fully rinsed that some other bar shampoos have given me, and had me worried I was going to have a nightmare of tangles when I went to brush it, but I was pleasantly surprised! It was actually a little bit easier to brush than after using my regular liquid! The only complaint I have is that it is way too heavily scented. Pleasant scent in my opinion, but it’s a bit overwhelming, and the scent is still pretty strong even after drying. With this performing SO well, I can overlook the scent, so I’m saving this and coming back for more when this is gone. This one was a winner for sure!

I really like this shampoo bar. First off, it’s bigger than your typical shampoo bar. I’ve been using shampoo bars for years and have tried pretty much every major brand. This bar lathers super well, and the best part is you don’t notice your bar shrinking before your eyes with every shampoo. Some brands literally melt away too easily bringing your pocketbook with. Not this bar. It is lasting a long time without sacrificing lather. Speaking of lather, the bubbles are ultra silky and feels great through your hair. Makes you think you don’t need conditioner, but with my hair, I never skip the conditioner. This bar works very well, hydrates the hair leaving it as soft as if I used shampoo from a bottle. I do wish it was housed in a more eco friendly way (box and not plastic). Most people choosing to use bars are trying to reduce plastic waste.

I love this shampoo bar. (I have never used a bar before.) I was shocked at how quickly it lathered up and how few times I needed to run it across my head (5-6 for thick shoulder length hair). It left my hair feeling very clean, but not dried out. It is rated for dry hair which I have. It has a lovely, but mild scent. I have problems with lots of ingredients and so far this one is “clean” enough to not cause trouble. I’ll update if I start itching! At this price ($10), it’ll last a lot longer than $10 worth of other shampoo.UPDATE: after a few more uses, it has stripped my hair of all natural oils leaving it stiff. If you actually have dry hair, you cannot use this without a conditioner. On the other hand, the people with oily hair in my house have been using this bar with great success for several weeks now. Highly recommend for oily hair!

First Time Shampoo Bar User
This is my first time trying a shampoo bar. I was curious about how well or how badly it would work.Must say, I’m pleasantly surprised. Bar lathered up quickly only rubbing on a minimal amount (this bar will probably last a long time). There wasn’t an excessive amount of lather, but a perfect amount.It was easy to rinse out and my hair didn’t feel like I expected it to. I expected a very dried out feel like you feel when for one reason or another have found yourself having to use an actual bar of soap on your hair. Instead it felt almost as silky as when I use my liquid, expensive, hydrating top name brand shampoo on it. Surprisingly very, very close…okay, maybe exactly, but I’m not ready to admit I’ve been overpaying for so long.Will I continue to use in the future and buy again? Absolutely, that is as soon as I finish off my way-too-expensive, mostly water, large bottle of shampoo. Oh! There are two additional pluses – Bars are space-saving and light making them easier to carry/travel (especially getting through customs) as well as to store.

Leaves hair soft & smelling nice
It takes a little more work to get enough shampoo on my hair when I use a solid shampoo, but it’s a lot more environmentally friendly. I have stopped buying liquid shampoos for myself because of how much more waste there is with them. This shampoo was fairly easy to use. I like the natural smell that’s so much better than the artificial scents that so many shampoos use. After it dried, my hair was left very soft and manageable and that’s with no conditioner. I normally have hair that frizzes up in hot, humid weather, but my hair isn’t doing that after using this shampoo.Overall, I’m very happy with this shampoo and have no complaints about it. If I was running out of shampoo and needed to buy more, this shampoo would be one of my top choices. I still comparison shop, but the quality of this shampoo would make me willing to spend a bit more on it.

Too drying and a delicate bar as well
What I liked:I thought this “Natural Shampoo Bar for Dry Hair, Solid Travel Bar Shampoo for Treated Dry Damaged Frizzy Hair and Dandruff, Hair Soap Bar with Cocoa butter, Aloe Vera, jojoba oil and rosemary oil” was great at first, but after using it for a few weeks just found it too drying for me. That said is smelled nice and did lather well.What I did not like:Aside from drying my hair out a bit too much, I found it required more rinsing than is typical of my other shampoo bars. I also found it quite delicate if it gets dropped (be careful).Overall:3 stars from me – and I admit that is a user-specific result.

Love this shampoo. Smells great and lasts about 4 months. My hair feels very clean and has a lot of volume and growth. Arrived a bit crumbled but since I use a netted soap saver it is no big deal. Really softens my grey hair.
