Little goes a long ways
My boyfriend and I both tried this shave gel; he on his face and I on my legs. I like how lightweight it was, and just adding a little goes a long way. When you rub in the gel, it turns into a foam that glides and spreads a long way. The scent smells refreshing, similar to a fresh scent with an undertone hint of mint. After using it with a razor, there wasn’t any razor burn or bumps. The gel is great for sensitive skin as it didn’t cause flaking or redness. I feel the shea butter helped skin remain soft and moisturized, and the salicylic acid prevented razor bumps from forming. It has more of a manly type of scent than feminine, but could work with both male and female. Although the container is small, only a little is needed for shaving. It also works in intimate places without any stinging or irritation. I find it to be a great price range and value for how long it will last.

Similar to a shaving cream with a great scent…
I use an old style safety razor to shave my face and usually use a shaving cream rather than foam or aerosol gel. I decided to give this product a try as it is not an aerosol and applies like a cream out of a tube. The gel is very slick and provides a protectant coating to the skin that foams ever so slightly after rubbing it in. My razor did not drag and this gel helped provide a smooth shave. It does not create a thick foam, so you can see what you’re shaving. It is not artificially scented, but it does have a definite yet pleasing scent. I don’t think that it is overpowering, but it may be to some who are over sensitive to smells. Thus, this may not be for you if you want a product with little to no scent. It did a great job of lubricating my skin for shaving, I would consider it equal to the shaving cream that I typically use.

Bought it for him, he won’t stop using it
I picked this up for my husband since he’s got pretty sensitive skin and normal shave gels leave him red and irritated. This one’s a completely different story. He says the quality feels noticeably better than the drugstore stuff he used to use, and the scent is spot on just enough to notice, not overpowering at all.Best part: zero irritation. That was the whole reason I bought it, and it delivered. His skin stayed calm and smooth after shaving, no redness, no razor burn. It’s a small tube but a little goes a long way, so it’s holding up well. Already planning to reorder. Easy 5 stars from both of us.

Nice Scent and Gentle Feel
I like this shaving gel. It has a pleasant scent that is noticeable without being too strong. The gel spreads easily and gives the razor a smooth surface to work with. I also like that it is clear, since it makes it easier to see what I am doing while shaving.I have not noticed any negative effects on my skin after using it. My skin feels fine afterward, without unusual dryness or irritation. The ingredient list also looks good to me, with no artificial fragrance or dyes listed. So far, it has been a comfortable addition to my shaving routine.

Works well, but the scent is strong and gives me a headache.
This shaving gel works as it should. The gel immediately transforms to a thick foam as you use it, and leaves your skin soft and moisturized. Unfortunately, the ingredients include “fragrance” and when it’s listed as such in the ingredients it’s generally chemically derived. I am very sensitive to chemically derived scents and this product gives me an immediate headache. I can’t use it, and I can’t give it to my husband to use because I’ll smell it on him. The scent is very masculine, even though it’s listed as shaving gel for men and women.There are a lot of ingredients, some natural. Some with chemical sounding names. I included a photo of the ingredients so you can check it out yourself. Made in the USA.

Not A Fan of the Scent
This isn’t a bad shave gel. It’s main issue is it doesn’t stand out from the pack. It does nothing better than it’s competitors, and then there is the scent they went with.The scent is mostly unoffensive, but to me it smells like an old persons bathroom. I’m not sure what this scent is, but whatever it is, it’s what my grand mother used in her bathroom. The smell also lingers. You keep smelling it for a while.This does protect well while shaving, but I’d take a good shave oil any day over this gel.I didn’t get any breakouts or skin irritation from using this.
