Nice cream

This is not a bad cream. It goes on smoothly and is not greasy. There is a faint scent that I can’t really place but it is not off putting and goes away quickly. Although, it is not very moisturizing. A tiny jar. I will use up the jar but not really going to make it a regular purchase item.

Nourishing and Gentle

This hand cream is luxurious and carries both a high-end set of ingredients and packaging yet also a high-end price. A little goes a long way for this cream to moisturize hands, but it may not be enough for extremely dry or cracking skin.PROS:+ Gentle on Hands: I have sensitive skin that is both dry and flaking due to plenty of outdoor work in a dry climate. I’m prone to breaking out with scented things, but this hand cream has managed to soften some of my rough spots (especially on my palm and cuticles) while not causing a rash or irritation in the least. The cream is so neutral and gentle that I’ve event tried it on dry skin on my neck and arms to great results. It works the best for me on locations with thinner skin and definitely stopped the flaking/ashiness on my arms.+ Quality Ingredients: This cream features natural ingredients and a Ph neutrality that doesn’t burn hands with cracks or sensitive skin. Im not allergic at all to its natural aroma and find it quite pleasing, a bit like hinoki wood; totally Japanese forest as the listing states. The moisturizers don’t feel heavy or cloying and are on the lightweight side despite being able to penetrate deep and soothe thirsty hands.CONS:- Size: Although this smells great and functions well, it’s quite on the steep side for hand cream especially at its size. Consider it a splurge.

Deeply Moisturizing with a Noticeable Scent

I’ve been using Nihonsakari Maikasui Rice-Enriched Hand Cream for a few weeks now, and overall I’m very impressed with the performance, with one small caveat.What I LoveThe texture is excellent. It’s rich enough to noticeably hydrate dry hands but absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy or sticky film. That balance can be hard to find. My hands feel softer and smoother almost immediately after applying, and with continued use I’ve noticed less dryness around my knuckles and cuticles.I appreciate the thoughtful formulation as well. The rice ferment and natural ceramide ingredients feel nourishing, and it’s reassuring that it’s vegan and made in Japan. It has that refined, high-quality skincare feel you often get with Japanese products.The ScentThe only reason I’m giving this four stars instead of five is the fragrance. It’s not unpleasant, in fact, it’s quite nice and clean but it is stronger than I expected for a hand cream marketed toward sensitive skin. If you’re sensitive to smells or prefer fragrance-free products, this might feel a bit overwhelming, especially right after application. Luxurious Lotion with Fermented Rice and a Hint of Fantasy Spice

I have very sensitive skin and tend to be a tough critic of beauty products that are more about name recognition than substance or that claim to be natural yet are filled with irritating chemicals. But the Maikasui Rice-Enriched Hand Cream blew me away.I had never heard of the company, so my opinion started out on a clean slate. The product jar arrived quickly, minimally packaged in a small, attractive beige paper box with a lovely embossed petal print and a tamper-indicating paper seal.When I opened the jar, I could see the cream was obviously new and pure. And I immediately experienced the warm, soothing scent of roses, the “fantasy perfume” of camellia japonica and other natural fragrant oils, with an unexpectedly enticing spicy undertone- of cinnamon! These were good signs.The cream looked delectable, almost like a rich vanilla pudding or a creamy chocolate eclair filling, and it felt light and creamy on my hands. Best of all, it caused no burning or irritation as I rubbed it in! A little bit of cream went a long way. Too much, and your hands might feel sticky. At first, the cream stayed on the surface of my skin but eventually was absorbed.The cream contains fermented rice filtrate (sake)–a natural moisturizing, collagen-bulding, anti-aging agent–and numerous other natural and synergistic skin-nourishing components, including jojoba oil, shea butter and grapefruit peel extract. My hands felt luxuriously hydrated and remained soft and moisturized until the next time I washed them. I look forward to finishing the entire jar to see the results.I highly recommend the Maikasui Rice-Enriched Hand Cream. It is a natural, holistic product of exceptional quality that is good for those with dry and/or sensitive skin. The hand cream is pricy (probably due to the expensive natural ingredients) but worth it, especially as a treat for yourself or gift for someone you love.
