Adequate Foot Repair Balm
This product seems adequate enough for hydrating cracked or dry heels. I often have the issue of the latter and have used thicker lotions in the past for reducing dryness, but usually have a lasting greasy feeling after. This balm is greasier than I was expecting, but likely due to the petroleum jelly texture. However, it is less greasy than some other lotions I’ve used for the same issue previously. That being said, I just used a little of it so that it wasn’t too greasy and it dried fairly quick (<1 hr). I will say that the price seems kind of high relative to how much of it you get ($19.99 at the time of this review). The listing photos also seem to suggest the size of the balm is bigger than it is, but if you read the description it's only 1.75 ounces. Easy enough to travel with, but definitely smaller than what I would expect for the price point. Additionally, the ingredients seem to be fairly natural and there is no scent despite the fruit-based ingredients. Overall, this product would probably be fine for its intended use.

using for elbows
This is OK. It takes a lot to actually thoroughly use on my heels, and I just find that it takes too long to get enough onto my fingers to work into my heels. So I’ve stopped using it for my feet. It works really, really well for dry elbows and dry hands. The weather is really warm at the time of writing this (around 95) and the balm has softened up enough that it doesn’t take much time or effort to spread and absorb into the skin. There is no scent other than a very faint petroleum smell.Overall, not crazy about this for feet, but it works wonders for my elbows.

Living in Florida much of the year, I walk around in the home barefoot a lot of the time. Even outside the home sandals and open shoes are the normal. So, my feet take a beating and many times the bottoms end up dried and cracked. So, I’m familiar with various heel and foot repair lotions and treatments.This balm comes in a plastic container about 2 3/8″ Dia x 1 7/8″ deep. The product inside is a creamy beige-yellowish, color. It’s firm, much more so than Vaseline.To use it I first wash my feet to add moisture and dry them with a towel.I then drag two fingers across the top surface of the Nonyx to remove a small, thin layer – not a large chunk. I then massage this into the rough area I’m working on. I repeat this on the balls of my feet and any other rough spots. I’m just trying to seal the surface of the skin and fill cracks so rub it in till you have an even sheen. For me this works best at night before going to bed. I may put a pair of socks on to protect the coating.This product works well. I could feel and see a noticeable change in softness and texture the first week of use. Deep cracks take a long time to close so don’t expect miracles.If I had a complaint, it would be about the small amount of product provided. There are other similar products I’ve used that work almost as good that come in containers twice this size for a similar price or less.But to be fair, right now, this product is relatively new to me, so I still have a way to go. Maybe it will prove to be exceptional, and I require less than expected. Then the price will be acceptable. But I don’t know that for sure.What I can say is the product works well and meets my expectations after the first week of use – so far so good.It meets the descriptions and images shown on the website. It feels great in your hands and on the feet. It’s very smooth and creamy feeling and it absorbs into the skin with some simple massaging which is a good thing.So, I think it has good potential – it has my attention based on a short period of testing. If you’ve been struggling with dry, cracked feet like me it may be worth the time, effort and money to try. I would recommend it.

Great stuff! Makes my battered feet feel great!
It’s funny how sometimes things just show up available to you just when you needed them. After several weeks of dirty yardwork, I found I had some pretty significant splits on the soles of my feet. I’ve been using lotion. That was definitely helpful, but I could tell that there was probably room for improvement. When this balm hit my feed, I actually laughed to myself. When it showed up, I started using it right away, and I noticed an improvement even after the first 24 hours. It has no particular odor to it at all. It does not take much to cover your feet, so I expect that it will last for quite some time. It does have kind of a creamy consistency that massages into the feet very well. I do want to point out that if you put too much on, it may not absorb into your skin all right away. I’ve started just putting on a pair of socks after I rub it into my feet that way I can use as much as I want. I will continue this until they’re all healed. I highly recommend this if you have a tendency to beat your feet up a little bit.

This is a very emollient balm that works great at moisturizing dry, cracked feet.It tends to be greasy when you put it on, so I use it at night and put socks over my feet to help keep it on my feet and off my sheets.In the morning, my feet are much softer and smoother.I did try using it in the morning, but I wear sandals and it just made my feet feel greasy in my sandals, so I’ll stick with night time use.The jar is pretty small, but it doesn’t take much so it should last awhile.

Amazing stuff
This is pretty great stuff for those of us that get dry spots on feet, especially at the heels.Fair warning…this is NOT cream. It’s balm so it’s definitely thick and a little greasy when you first put it on (and your hands will be too!). But the minute you apply it, you’ll see the difference. The dry spots disappear immediately. It moisturizes like crazy, and it stays that way for a long time. I’ve been using it a week and I’m already seeing more permanent improvement in dry spots. It’s really kind of amazing.I like that it has so scent. It’s not perfumed at all, which who wants perfumed balm for there feet??It is a small jar, granted, but a little bit goes a long way. The first time I put it on I used way too much — pretty much wasted some of the product because I overdid it. After that though I really cut back, and it did just as great as when I slopped on too much. After a week the jar is still mostly full.To me this is priced really well too. Yes it’s not cheap but nor should it be. It’s good stuff, it’s easy to use, it lasts all day, and it seems to be improving my dry spots. To me that more than makes it worth the cost.

I’ve used other NONYX products before and had good results, so I decided to try this foot balm too. It didn’t disappoint. The balm is easy to apply and spreads well, so I don’t need a lot to cover both heels. I usually put it on before bed, especially when my feet get dry during the winter, and it starts making the rough areas feel softer pretty quickly.The fragrance is mild and pleasant, which I prefer for something I’m putting on my feet regularly. It doesn’t have an overpowering medicinal smell. Since a small amount covers quite a bit and the results have been good, I think it’s a good value for the money as well. Another solid NONYX product that I’ll keep around for the colder months.
