Efficient, but not “ouchproof”
I’ll admit, I was skeptical about using a nose waxing kit at home. Most of the cheaper kits I’ve tried in the past either didn’t heat properly, cooled too fast, or felt like they were going to remove half your soul along with the hair. This one was a completely different experience. The wax melts evenly, stays workable long enough to actually use comfortably, and doesn’t turn brittle the second it cools down. That alone makes the process far less frustrating than most over-the-counter kits.What impressed me most was how effective it actually is. Instead of just trimming visible hairs for a couple of days, this pulls from the root and leaves everything noticeably cleaner for weeks. The difference in airflow is real too. It sounds minor until you experience it, but having clear nasal passages without constant trimming genuinely feels better day to day. The included applicator sticks are also well designed and make the process feel controlled rather than awkward or messy, especially around the ears where precision matters more.The instructions deserve credit as well because they remove a lot of the guesswork that usually comes with products like this. Everything from heating time to application and removal is clearly explained, making it approachable even for someone using nose wax for the first time. The process ended up being much quicker and less uncomfortable than expected.For the price, the kit feels surprisingly complete and professional. You get enough wax and applicators for multiple sessions, and the quality is noticeably above the bargain-bin kits that barely work. It’s one of those grooming products that quietly becomes part of your routine because it actually delivers the clean, polished result it promises without turning into a hassle.

Works, but the pain is real.
I don’t think I have the most egregiously hairy nose, but if left untrimmed they do tend to stick out from below the nostrils, so I try to keep them trimmed. My electric trimmer died recently and so I decided to give waxing a try since it would last a lot longer. I did know that it was likely to be really unpleasant, but I hoped it would be bearable. I was careful not get the wax too hot and burn myself when applying it, but once it cooled and solidified it took some real force to get it out with all the hair and let me tell you if your eyes water plucking one nose hair, you’re going to go non-verbal for a few minutes after ripping a whole nose full in one go. It does what it says it does, and fairly well, but I think I’ll stick with less painful options going forward.

Was very nervous about trying this — went better than expected.
I was kind of nervous about trying this product, but is went better than expected. I have quite a bit of hair in my ears, and have never been able to use earbuds very well, as they don’t stay put. I could use them a bit, but not outside walking around, exercising, etc. as they would pretty much always wiggle out . But I do like to use them when I exercise or later at night so as not to disturb the whole house with music, tv, etc. I was looking for a way to deal with ear hair for a while, including depilatories, but was never ready to take the plunge til I saw this produce and decided to give it a try. It went very well. Heating the wax was easy — for a little more control, I set my 1000 watt microwave at 70% and used the time suggested for a 700 watt microwave (Google said that setting it at 70% was equivalent), and the wax was just the right consistency per the instructions, and hot but not scorching. The kit comes with 30 applicators (so 15 applications with 1 per ear), mustache guards and a kind of alcohol/soothing wipe for after use. I used these on my ears and put them in and left them for the suggested two minutes. It says to pull them out quick — the quicker the better. So I yanked and….. pretty much nothing. These require a strong jerk, so on the second attempt I really pulled on them and they came out with kind of a ripping feeling, not a smooth tug. It was kind of disconcerting, but lots of hair came out. I’m not gonna add a pic of that, cuz it’s kind of gross, but the wax definitely did its job. I did have bleeding, which actually is not unusual, and it seems it was just from the follicles being pulled out, not a skin tear, but a little scary. Again, Google says this is normal and it did not get infected or hurt and was not weepy after a few hours, so seems like something that just happens. Everything I read says that it gets easier and less painful and bleeding will not happen the more you do it. The first time is worst because the follicles are well established and the hair is thick, so I expect that this will get easier as I go along — supposed to repeat every six weeks or so, but I will just attack new growth when it gets in the way. So now I can use earbuds and they are rock solid in my ears — can shake my head and they don’t budge. I did not try this in my nose, and don’t think I have enough guts to use it in my nostrils, but for ear hair, this definitely exceeded expectations and I’m really thrilled to be able to use earbuds now.

Practical do-it-yourself kit
This was a great starter kit for me to practice hair removal for those sensitive areas. While the box promotes nose/ear use, my intentions were for other sensitive areas.The kit comes with mustache stickers, which apparently is useful for men protecting their actual mustache from being pulled. Not sure, as a woman, if I have any use for them unless I trim them to block eyebrows.A bag of plastic applicators makes it pretty easy to portion out a small amount of wax at a time.The wax comes in a mini white mug that is meant to be microwaveable. That is where the true variable comes in with your experience. It’s understanding your heating element to warm the wax enough to apply comfortably but not burn your skin. This may require some experimentation to figure out the timing that works for your microwave and the right temperature for your skin/comfort.You are provided with aftercare wipes to help clean up wax residue left on the skin.Overall, thr kit has everything you need to try waxing at home. There are other methods of hair removal, so its definitely a solution worth considering if you can carefully follow instructions and can tolerate figuring out heating the wax appropriately.

The Best Nose & Ear Wax Kit I’ve Used
I’m a 56-year-old guy, and unfortunately I’m at the age where I seem to have more hair growing out of my nose and ears than on top of my head. I’ve been using this wax for well over a year now, so when I had the chance to review it through Amazon Vine, I jumped on it.First off, this is a really good kit. I’ve used both types of nose and ear wax kits, the ones with little wax beads and the ones that come as a solid block of wax in a jar. At first, I thought I preferred the beads because they melt faster. This solid wax takes about 10 minutes in the microwave (I set the jar in a bowl with a little water), so it does require a little more patience.That said, I actually think this wax works better.Once it cools, it’s thicker and grabs onto the hairs much better. It also leaves behind a lot less wax residue in my nose and ears than the bead-style waxes, and anyone who’s used those knows that leftover wax can be a pain to clean out.Using it couldn’t be much simpler. Melt the wax, coat one of the applicators, carefully insert it into your nose or ear, let it cool for about a minute, and give it a quick yank. It’s not nearly as bad as people think, and for me the results last about two weeks, much longer than trimming with clippers.One piece of advice: if you have any mustache at all, use the included mustache guards. Trust me on this one. If the wax grabs those hairs, you’re going to regret it.Overall, this is one of those products that isn’t glamorous, but it works incredibly well. I think my (admittedly gross) photo speaks for itself.

Very effective at removing hair around my ears
I am a middle-aged average guy with average hair. As I get older, I seem to notice more hairs in my nose and ear area. Maybe it is just the gray I notice, but probably not. I have a nose hair trimmer but I thought I would try this to see if it was easier and lasted longer. I also wanted to see if it was painless as advertised.I have to say when I used it on my nose hair it hurt. I have a fairly high tolerance for pain, but I do not think I want to use this on a regular basis. It might be more of a once in a while before a date use when it comes to my nose. It is effective at removing nose hair though, and I am not going to deduct a star because I do not find it painless.I also tried it on my ears. It was painless when I used it on my ears and it was very effective at removing the hairs around my ear that are difficult to see and remove using other means. For hat reason alone I would give it five stars because removing ear hair is not easy. I also love that my ear canals felt cleaner and smoother when I finished which is an added bonus. I would definitely order this again for my ears, even if I do not use it on my nose.

Clear Results But With a Jolt!
This nose hair removal kit leaves me no choice but to give it 5 stars. When the easy and comprehensive directions are followed precisely, then your results are as advertised. For me it was a little trial and error at first but that was on me for not following directions completely. You are provided with everything needed to complete the task of removing hair. And this method works.I do have a couple of helpful tips. When heating the wax in the microwave it is important to know your appliances wattage and follow those guidelines. DO USE the suggested placing of the wax container in water, ⅓ of the way up the side of the wax container when heating. This truly aides in the heating process. Additionally, I highly recommend that you clean your nostrils before and after to remove any and all bacteria. I used rubbing alcohol. Believe me, if you’ve ever plucked a nose hair and left it untreated, you may have had a sore nostril the next day. I certainly have! Not this time though after disinfecting the area before and after. I also want to give a proper heads up on the actual pulling of the hair. It’s a jolt to the system!! A bit scary at first but it wasn’t actually painful, just a bit unsettling.All said, I rid myself of those unsightly nostril hairs and this set gives me enough supplies to perform the task many more times down the road. That makes the kit a decent value when you break it down per use.
