    Ergonomically pleasing

    I have used this clipper for 4 weeks now. I keep my hair and beard quite short. Cut hair once a week, trim beard twice a week. Battery level is still at 64% so it holds a good charge. It feels nice in the hand and cuts cleanly. I like that there are just a few attachments that work in tandem with the adjustment lever. As others have stated it will pinch if not held at the right angle to your skin. Having to oil after every use is a bit of a pain but hopefully it will last a lot longer than my previous, washable clippers. Overall it is solidly built and works well for me.

    Great trimmer – crazy, long battery life – unbelievable service

    I bought these trimmers about a year ago and absolutely love them. I got the combination set with the small clippers and the larger clippers. By the way the small one cuts really close and is awesome but they both work terrific and frankly, I never ever drained the battery completely Before recharging it just out of habit the charge last forever, but unlike a lot of cordless products it has what appears to be a very accurate meter showing how much charge you have left. There’s really not much else to say; they work great. They’re very precise. The battery lasts a very long time and I’ve never had a problem with the merchandise itself.after about a year I received an error message on the large trimmer – an E1 error, which essentially means a problem with the battery. I merely sent an email to their customer service, and they (an actual person ! – Jennifer Cohen) wrote back to me within a day and merely asked for an order number (which Amazon keeps for you by the way). About two days later I received an unexpected package, which, as you probably guessed, had a brand new replacement trimmer. I have a personal practice of judging a company by the way issues or problems are handled, and based on this experience, all I can say is I would never buy a different product even if I hadn’t gotten a new trimmer the response time and courtesy were very impressive. Plus, I mean we’re talking about a trimmer so it’s not a life and death situation With all that said this trimmer is excellent and the company provides excellent service. There might be a few similar products that are slightly more inexpensive, but knowing what I know, I would not even consider buying something else.

    Not too bad, could use some improvements

    I’ve been trimming my own hair for over 20 years. These clippers were a nice mid-way point between some ultra-premium Wahl or Andis clippers ($179 for cordless Seniors? Can’t do it), and some mass-produced overseas no-name brand. These may be mass produced, but they have much better packaging and marketing lol. I bought these as a replacement for some $29 cordless, mass produced clippers that worked well until I had one too many drops.The Good:High RPMs! I’ve never had much of a problem with pulling, but I think these would have no problem at all cutting the thickest hair with no snags. Build quality seems pretty good, and they have a good weight in the hand. The blades seem well machined, and sharp. Nearly endless supply of blade oil instead of a small sample bottle (that is guaranteed to leak). The guards are the equivalent of the Wahl premium guards with the metal clip. Score! They stay secure and the clippers themselves are Wahl guard compatible.The cons: Weird shape and balance for me. I’m more used to the “squared oval” shape of most clippers, while these are almost perfectly round. The weight seems more balanced vs. the top-heavy clippers that most clippers have that I’m more used to. It’s like long-time S&W owner shooting a Glock. Just a little different. I may end up loving or hating the feel, but time will tell. The battery readout is large and easy to read, and appears to be accurage. The blade extender “clicks” for each fading level, but only has 3 settings as opposed to the 4 I’ve had with others.Con #2: Okay, I guess this could be 4, since the first one goes over 3, but holy static Batman! I’m not sure if this is due to the high motor RPM, but my hair clings to every little bit of this device. With most clippers, the hair falls from the blade with a quick flich of the wrist, but not these bad boys. I’ve tried wiping them down, re-oiling, wiping again, even running a dryer sheet over the clippers to help with the static to no avail. Hair still sticks everwhere on this device, and its much more of a chore than cleaning other clippers with the tiny brush.Con #3: proprietary charger. Really?? My last $29 pair of clippers had a proprietary chargin port AND a USB-C charging port. Is the extra $8 you make for selling replacement charging cords really worth the frustration to your customers? Just use a USB-C like almost every rechargable device whose name doesn’t begin with an “A” (and even they’ve changed). Please and thank you.Overall, it’s not noticably different from the $29 pair I previously had that lasted about 2 years and successive drops. I hope the battery life, longevity and drop-proof durability will make these worth the more expensive price.**UPDATE: The seller read my review and went out of their way to make it right. Good trimmer minus a few minor flaws, outstanding service. Thank you!

    Great value. Very good product. Sturdy, quiet.

    Wasted a lot of time and effort buying and returning 3 other very highly rated trimmers for less money. These are quite good for the price. Larger bottle of oil comes with it, along with cape, which is darn handy. Blades don’t get hot like the others, which is great on close neck trims and other finer hair applications. I used very carefully on my face with no guard to trim beard. It worked but if I wanted that closer beard look I’d recommend something else. Good/great for other beard or mustache trims.

    This is a great product and even better is the customer service. Big shout out to Jennifer Cohen! Make sure to email them to register the product for the warranty. I had an issue with my order and Jennifer went above and beyond to help me and make it right. As a business owner and amazon seller myself you really can’t get any better customer service.As for the clippers, they’re awesome. The battery last forever, they’re quiet and sharp as any others I’ve used. The set comes big bottle of oil that will last for years and the guides have metal on them so they won’t break so easy. I’ve owned many clippers and this is the best experience I’ve had so far. In fact it was so good that I just bought the smaller beard trimmer they sell. I should have bought the 2 piece set in the beginning cause you’ll save a little money with the combo. I wasn’t planning on buying a new beard trimmer for a while but I liked the har trimmer product and company so much I thought I would give it a try. Great purchase!

    A really good trimmer, but not meant for close cuts

    Maybe it’s my fault, but I wanted something that would shave my head closer even closest setting it doesn’t satisfy my needs. But it also could be that it’s not used for shaving heads. On the other hand as a beard trimmer it’s a powerhouse. It runs smooth as silk with no snags at all. The quality of the cleaning brush sucks. It could be better on a full charge. It lasts a really long time. I have used this about 10 times and it’s about 23% power right now. There’s a metal loop built into it so you can hang it from a hook. I accidentally dropped the trimmer and the metal hook disengaged but on the other hand, the trimmer still works like new.

    Wow, nice clippers. My very old Wahl clippers are requesting retirement, so thought I’d try these, since even the expensive new Wahl’s didn’t get the greatest reviews. These Novah clippers are SOOO much better. Even on the regular setting they cut my thick hair easily and cleanly. I don’t think I will ever need the turbo setting, but it’s nice to have. The clippers are comfortable in your hands, I love being cordless, they charge quickly, and the battery life readout is very handy. You can feel and see the quality. They are powerful and sharp! The barber cape they included is a nice touch! I contacted customer service via text, not really expecting any reply, and within half an hour I got a real person contacting me (not ai!) that quickly and kindly resolved my issue. Jennifer could not have been more helpful. I rarely give 5 star reviews, but if I could give 10 stars to this company and their product, I absolutely would. These are the best clippers out there, and for a very competitive price.
