I got this to take with me on a 10-day trip to Canada. I honestly didn’t have any hopes that this would be a good brush, I just needed something.I used this every day and I loved it. Yes the brush is tiny, but it broke in so easily. It splays nicely and has plenty of backbone. It is a mix of badger and boar hair, so you get the best of both worlds. I had no problems getting an awesome lather with Arko, or ANY of my other soaps. Even now that I have been back for a few months, I still use this brush from time-to-time as it is such a please to use.I would easily buy another one of these, but I have yet to lose one single hair from this thing, so I don’t think it will be getting replaced anytime soon.

This is a fantastic little brush once it’s finally broken in, which I’d say took a couple months of continuous (almost daily) use. This brush is on the smaller side which makes for a great little travel brush, but even most larger brushes aren’t too big to travel with (in my opinion). In case you didn’t know, the average adult finger is about 1” from joint to joint, therefore, about 3” total. This brush is about as long as your index finger from the top of the brush to the base and about an 1.5” across the knot (when wet) and about 2” across the knot (when dry – two finger joints).Starting around March of 2017, I used this brush every day (except the weekends) for a couple months and that’s about how long it took to break it in really good. It was certainly usable and partially broken in after about 3 weeks, but it constantly shed a hair or three nearly everyday for the first 1-2 months. After that period, it started holding water better and rarely loses a hair, although I do get an occasional runaway klingon caught up in my lathered up face. I used (and still use) this brush with Taylor of Old Bond and Proraso shaving creams.SHORT PRO TIP: For those new to wet shaving, less is more when mixing your lather; the secret to a good lather is all about the water ratio. This brush doesn’t retain as much water as a badger brush, but will hold plenty to get a fantastic lather once broken in. Now that I’ve broken it in and used it for <6 months, I actually need to shake off a tiny bit of water to get the water-to-shaving-cream ratio correct (for my use).With that being said, you’ll “probably” eventually want to “upgrade” to a more luxurious brush, however, it’s not necessary because this brush is certainly usable as a daily driver once broken in.Keeping my points above in mind, just as many others have stated, this is a FANTASTIC brush for someone starting out in wet shaving to see if they’ll enjoy wet shaving (it’s not for everyone).Keep in mind, this is a sub $20 brush, so you really need to ask yourself, what am I really looking for out of this brush? Will it suit my needs?I hope this review helps at least one person make an informed and confident decision regarding this brush. Personally I don’t think you can go wrong with this little brush if you’re willing to spend the time to use it for a month or two and break it in.

Ottimo pennello in misto tasso/cinghiale (una combo abbastanza particolare ma efficiente). Le dimensioni sono davvero contenute, perfetto per chi come me lo porta spesso in viaggio e soprattutto non si rada completamente il viso (io rado solo collo e qualche rifinitura sulle guance).

Great little travel brush.
Yea, reviews I read before buying were right. Very small, soft, great for travel brush. I would also add if your in a rush and just want to lather for a single pass and not waste soap lather on larger brush. This little mighty mini definitely does the trick. Can’t beat this little guy for the price. After I tried mine I purchased another for my cuz who travels a lot. He loves it and got a couple of spares in case he misplaces or forgets one in a rush getting out of hotel room. So yes, I can recommend this for above mentioned uses. Not a daily driver or someone new to wet shaving imo.

Great little brush!
There are multiple reviews out there complaining about this brush shedding. I can confirm that this brush shed like crazy in the beginning. But after a month of use the shedding has pretty much stopped. I may get one or two here or there but nothing that worries me.With that being said the overall performance of this brush is great. It absorbs water helping it to create a nice foamy lather with all of my shave soaps TOBS, Proraso, Sterling, Taconic, and Chiseled Face. The brush has a good mix of softness and stiffness which feels great when applying lather to your face. So many qualities in such a small brush. Great for travel or a daily driver. Another quality brush from Omega!

Great for travel!
I love these little shaving brushes! They are small and don’t take up a lot of space in your carry on toiletry bag. You do lose a few bristles the first few times you use the brush, but that is expected from any brush. If you want a small shaving brush for travel, this is the one to get.

Omega badger and hog bristle midget shave brush!
This is a very nice brush, especially for $20. I bought it for travel, and find myself using it more than I thought. It has a nice backbone, is plenty “skritchy”, and works up a nice face lather quickly. Loads a lot of lather for its size. Also, NO funky smell like most natural bristle brushes have when new, and it only has shed a very few hairs. Outstanding!

This small half pint Omega brush is just a little Gem ,,,!!
I love this little Omega, half bore & half Badger bristle brush it has become my go to brush. Even though it small it whips up a good lather in a smaller cup or bowl and the bristles splay is not over cumbersome on the face, you can really rub the brush in a circular motion to exfoliate the bristles on your face… I have a few other Omegas and they are all really big brushes with large splays of bristles, that are large enough when splayed out open will cover the whole side of your face…Now don’t get me wrong on large brushes I still like the large brushes to and they are still in my rotation. ,,,,But all I have to say about that this little Omega Half Bore & Half Badger Hair ,,,,”IS JUST A LITTLE GEM”… !!!

Small but packs a punch
A bit of a goldilocks brush for me. Badger is too soft, Boar is too stiff. This lil guy makes a great lather machine!
This little Omega Bristle Mix (Boar Bristle & Black Badger) makes quite a lather machine! Once opened make sure to clean it with some shampoo to get rid of that funky animal smell, This tiny mix bristle brush is perfect for traveling or on the go!I lost a few bristles after washing and lathering it, this is normal since you are breaking it in. It will stop eventually. Highly recommend it!!
