May not be for curlier/coily textures
This product may not work at well for curlier textured hair. I have curly hair and it takes so long to absorb into the follicles. It’s advised to put it on your strands when it’s a little damp and I followed the instructions. The product just sits atop the hair and leaves such a harsh feeling on afterward. It doesn’t add shine or moisturization at all and for the price I’ve definitely had a lot better for WAYYYY less. The fragrance is okay and smells like any typical higher end hair product does (more of a fresh scent /// reminded me of an old spice deodorant ). The coating after the product dried feels horrible. The pump works amazingly. I like how the bottle looks and feels. It gives a really luxurious look but it isn’t worth it in my opinion :/ After a week of the product being in my hair I noticed extreme breakage, single stranded knots, and split ends. I had to wash it out asap because it was the only new thing I introduced into my hair regime and it made the ends feel so brittle. It may work for other people but my hair REJECTED it bad and I’m now having to nurse it back to health by cutting and deep conditioning. I don’t know what the ingredients are but I’ve never had a hair product do that to me EVER

Great leave-in conditioner
I really like this leave-in conditioner. My hair can be prone to breakage, especially right after washing so I did feel this did a good job of making the strands a bit stronger. The treatment is also quite moisturizing which is a definite plus. I have color treated hair, and it did not strip or dull my color at all. Overall, I do think it is an effective product. It is very expensive, so I will probably only use it every other wash, but it’s definitely a great product.

I love Oribe and have a ton of their products, and now I have another one to add to the mix. I can’t tell you how excited I am to have one that actually helps my hair heal AND looks incredible, though. I’ve been using it for a month now and I’m not going back.Right away it has their signature fragrance which I adore. It’s luxurious and perfumey without being overpowering, and it lasts in my hair a day or two later. If you don’t like scented products, you won’t like this, but if you’re on the fence, trust that you’ll love this.The treatment is on the thicker side, but it’s non-greasy and it spreads through damp hair without any dragging. A few pumps covers my mid lengths and ends, and it absorbs fast enough that my hair doesn’t feel coated or tacky. It doesn’t weigh my hair down at all.Seriously, it makes my hair so incredibly soft. My damage and frizz has declined significantly in the month I’ve been using it. The difference shows up most at my ends, where the frizz used to start.I sometimes use Olaplex bonding styling cream and serum, but Oribe products overall make my hair feel silkier. I’ve normally had to choose between a product that just makes my hair look good and one that actually repairs it. With this product now I get to have my cake and eat it too!Oribe products are not cheap, that’s for sure. There are some I’ve tried and decided not to re-buy because they weren’t worth it to me. The ones that have been worth it though, made me not even bat an eye at the price. This is one of those products.The bottle is glass with a pump, and a small amount goes far enough that I can see this lasting me months. The pump doses it evenly, so I’m not squeezing out more than I need.It’s 100% worth it, and I’d say it’s a good value for the money. If you like scented products and want something that repairs your hair while making it look and smell amazing, this is it.

Lightweight, gentle scent, seems strengthening
I’ve been using this for a little while now and have gone through about 1/4 of the bottle so far. My favorite thing about it is how lightweight it feels in my hair. I have very fine (but thick, i.e. a lot of) long hair, so I’m always a little wary of hair products that are going to leave it feeling heavy or greasy, but I haven’t had that issue with this at all!It has a light, fresh scent that dissipates quickly.As far as results go, I wouldn’t say this is something where you use it once and immediately notice some huge difference. The effects seem much more subtle and gradual. It’s hard to say with 100% certainty this is responsible, but my hair does seem to be feeling a little stronger and healthier overall since I started using it and I haven’t changed anything else in my routine. I’m definitely going to keep using it and see what the longer-term results are, because so far it seems good and doesn’t have any downsides.It’s pricey, but worth a shot especially if you have fine hair like mine and need something strengthening but lightweight. I’ll be sure to check back in on the long term effectiveness when I make it through the bottle, but that will take a while since it’s a generous size for how much you need.
