If you can afford luxury hair care this shampoo is sublime but it is still shampoo not a miracle worker. If you can afford only the occasional luxury item I would recommend their finishing products instead (supershine moisturizing cream is the best thing I’ve ever bought my hair and lasts a year per tube).This shampoo adds enough slip and conditions well enough I only had to condition my ends while feeling clean. My course wavy hair is smooth and light feeling after using it and hair feels clean longer because I don’t need as much conditioner. I really like that it works well with any of their conditions.I will keep purchasing

Gentle cleansing premium shampoo
Oribe Run-Through Detangling Shampoo. I read That Oribe was a celebrity favorite and used quality ingredients so I was curious to try out the brand. It comes in a fancy elegantly designed bottle. The shampoo is lightly and pleasantly scented. When I poured out the shampoo, I thought I had mistakenly read the label b/c it felt and looked like conditioner. I was worried it would not take out of the product build up in my hair. But actually a small amount of this shampoo, lathered up thick and cleansed my hair gently. After rinsing the shampoo out, I could feel that it had cleaned my hair thoroughly of all my layers of dry shampoo and hair spray. After towel drying my hair, it was easy to brush through. Overall, this shampoo is gentle on my hair and scalp while getting it clean!

I put off trying Oribe products for so long because the prices scare me away lol, I’ll pay for salon brands but I do have limits (and so does my wallet). I tried this since Vine had it for free and I both love and hate it. I hate it because I love it so much I want to buy a bottle when this one runs out.It’s so gentle on my hair, my hair is soft and feels like it could be fairly easily detangled even without conditioner after I use this. I have bleached curly/wavy hair and that’s a feat. My hair still feels very clean and refreshed but not stripped or dried out. It gives me shine and body and seems to help encourage my natural volume to come out a bit more. I follow it with either my Olaplex 5 conditioner or Verb Sea Conditioner and my hair looks a-maz-ing.Additionally, it smells amazing. Kind of clean, kind of floral, but soft and just pleasant. It IS pricey, but it’s concentrated, I use a very small amount and with my silicone shampoo brush a little nickel/quarter-sized drop is enough for my whole head.

It’s upsetting how much I like this because it’s pricey lol. As someone with 4c hair, this shampoo was non-stripping and actually didn’t dry out my hair… AT ALL! I’ve had “natural” brand shampoos dry my hair out including Carol’s Daughter, TGIN (co-wash), SheaMoisture, Pantene (co-wash), and Cream of Nature’s newest products. For this not to be drying on my previously bleached hair that’s already damaged and thick, it became a fave.The biggest con (besides price) is that it has no real smell, it smells like unscented shampoo. I would prefer some kind of essence and somewhat of a tingle which usually comes from peppermint oil. However, I used very little since it lathered well and I expect my 8.5oz bottle to last at least 6 washes. The bottle cap is easy to release the shampoo without having to struggle to squeeze it out which is also a plus. If you really are in need of a good shampoo to clean your scalp without knotting up, I would try this one even if it’s just on-occasion use.

I love this line of products. They smell amazing and do wonders for your hair’s health. Unfortunately I can’t give this specific shampoo a high rating as it did very little in terms of detangling.

Unfortunately gave me an opposite effect- every time I use it my hair gets tangled and knots appear. Yes it hydrates but hair gets greasy much faster although I thoroughly wash my hair couple times. And leaves this greasy feeling as I touch my hair. I will stick to Kerastase and no more experiments with shampoo:(
