Great brush, but losing some bristles.
The OWIIZI Slick Back Brush, Teasing Nylon & Boar Bristle Hair Brush for Edge Control is the perfect size for adding details to your hair. It’s super easy to use to control your edges and slicking your hair back to tame fly away hair. The bristles are decently soft and get through my hair nicely. The wood of the brush feels durable and make of quality material. The bristles seem ok as well, but I’ve noticed that some of them are slowly coming out of the brush. I’m worried more will come out over time, but losing one or two isn’t a deal-breaker, but it is a concern. For the price you are paying for this I feel that you get value for money. I just hope the bristles stay in the brush.

Works exactly as advertised and good quality
This brush does exactly what I needed it to do. I use it for women’s military hairstyles, and it works extremely well for getting the hair smooth, controlled, and slicked back neatly. It’s become the go to brush for everyday styling because it makes getting that clean, uniform look much easier.It’s been used about five days a week since I got it, and so far there’s no noticeable wear or damage to the brush or bristles. A Hairbrush To Tame The Mane!
Have you ever needed to just tame your mane of hair a little? I was happy to find the OWIIZI Nylon & Boar Bristle Hair Brush that does the trick nicely.With a narrow set of bristles, this brush focuses on fine-tuning hairstyles that otherwise might be a little more poofy. I’ve long been a fan of boar bristles for my brushes, as they smooth well, without constantly ripping my hair out. This brush, with just a little water slicks down hair and helps tame the fly-aways!The feature I really like most about this brush is the strong wood handle, with the tip that makes parting and sectioning a breeze without tangling. It glides easily, and doesn’t feel like it is stabbing at my head.Although this brush is designed to do other hair tricks such as teasing or backcombing as well, these are not things I do with my personal styles, so I really cannot comment on those types of uses personally.This brush would be great to keep in a car for a quick style freshen-up when out-and-about. At approximately 10” long x .5” wide, it doesn’t take a lot of space to store. It can easily fit in the glovebox.PROS: Boar bristles. Smooths well. Parts and sections nicely. Great for quick touch ups or fine-tuning styles.CONS: Not as good for putting full head of hair up – Best for detailing.STAR RATING: 5 – This brush does everything I wanted and expected it to do. This slick back brush shipped and arrived quickly and well packaged.This slick back brush looks really nice and a great size for a purse for on the go hair touch ups. The brush is very unique looking, but does a great job slicking long hair back. The nylon center prongs and boar bristles on the side are the perfect for long and thick hair. The handle is easy to hold and the bristles are the perfect softness.This brush is a great value for the money and excellent to keep in a purse.

Nice Brush for Smoothing Hair and Taming Flyaways
This brush has a nice narrow bristle set that immediately stood out to me. I’m not positive, but I don’t think I’ve ever owned a brush with boar bristles before, so I was curious to see how it compared to the brushes I normally use.There are nylon bristles running down the center of the brush as well. They’re spaced evenly enough that they make it easy to part and section hair when needed. After using it a bit, I did notice that it seems to tame flyaways and smooth things down better than my regular brushes.The handle is made of wood and feels sturdy without adding much weight. I also like the darker reddish-brown color. It’s comfortable to hold, and the shape fits naturally in my hand.One thing I wasn’t expecting is how well it worked on tangles. My hair tends to get a little unruly, especially after being outside on a windy day, and this brush does a good job working through those spots without feeling overly rough on my scalp.Overall, this has been a pleasant experience. I originally picked it because I liked the look of the bristle design, but I’ve ended up reaching for it pretty often. It smooths my hair nicely, helps with flyaways, and the added nylon bristles make sectioning hair easier when I need to.

Great in theory but bristles starting to come out
This teasing brush has a nice sturdy medium wood handle with a pointed tip to part hair. It was advertised as good for teasing and detangling hair and when received it looked great. After one light use on dry hair, the boar bristles starting falling out (pictured). I can’t imagine now using it on wet hair as I do not want bristles stuck in my hair. This is a one and done product although it may by used to part my hair when needed. There are much better products on the market. Manufacturing and quality control should have seen the defects. I can imagine after daily use that more bristles will fall out. It doesn’t state what method is used to attach the bristles, but if glue was used, it is not working.
