I ordered this because my hands have been a disaster all winter and I kept putting off going to a nail salon but still wanted that soft skin situation without leaving my apartment. The unit is bigger than I thought it would be and it sits on my bathroom counter taking up a fair amount of real estate but I do not have kids so counter space is negotiable. The inner pot is genuinely wide and deep and I can get my whole hand in there without contorting my fingers which matters more than I expected.The wax melts at a reasonable pace and the temperature feels consistent once it gets going but the initial heat up does take a few minutes so I have learned to turn it on before I do anything else. The kit comes with cotton mitts and booties and disposable liners and a brush and a scraper and it is a lot of stuff to find homes for but most of it lives in the box now. My cat has investigated this whole setup twice and lost interest both times which is honestly the highest endorsement anything gets in this apartment.The wax blocks that come with it work fine and the texture after peeling is noticeably different from before but I do go through the wax faster than I thought I would since the pot is large and needs a good amount to reach a usable depth. There is a slight learning curve around temperature testing before dipping because the wax can sit hot on the surface and feel cooler underneath and that inconsistency is something to pay attention to.

I have had other home wax machines before. I will say that this one has been my favorite.It easily fits my foot, or both hands at once. I’ve used it a few times for my elbows but if I’m being honest, it’s a bit awkward for me. Not that this is any reflection on the machine itself, it’s just weird to dip my elbows and then cover and sit like that while it does it’s thing.I love how easy this is to use. You just drop a block in and turn it on. Once the wax is melted, you are ready to go. For me, I dip my hand or foot in a few times, four or five, letting each layer harden before going in for the next dip, and then I wrap the area and let it just sit. Once the time has passed, I break the wax up (usually starting by flexing my fingers or feet). Whatever wax is left over after I’m done, I just let harden and reuse the next time, adding a bit more if it’s running low. Since I’m the only one that uses this and I make sure to thoroughly clean whatever I’m dipping first, it’s fine to reuse like that.I appreciate how quick it is to melt the wax, how spacious it is, and how great my skin feels after. This is for sure a win for me!

Huge Capacity, Very Useful, Comes With Generous Amount Of Wax
I’ve been dealing with a bit of aches and pains in my hands lately, and I heard someone say they get these wax treatments at a spa and therapy place they go to. I’d rather not pay what they do for said treatments, so I decided to grab this machine to try at home. It actually looks similar to the one used at the spa. I’m understanding now how useful a machine like this is.It has a huge capacity, so I can do my feet too if I want. It’s large enough to accommodate a variety of hand and foot sizes which is convenient, since my husband now wants to give it a try. It’s a versatile machine, you can even do elbows and knees if you’re super careful. But the kit mainly just comes with disposable gloves and booties, so you have to get creative with cling wrap and towels, if you want to use it for anything outside of those two body parts lol.It comes with a generous amount of wax. I was actually surprised at the size of the wax packets. Since it’s just my husband and I who use it, we just throw the wax back in to get a few more uses out of it. I know it sounds gross, but we’re careful to make sure our skin is clean and exfoliated before we use the wax. I wouldn’t recommend this though, if you have a lot of people in your house using the same machine.Overall, it’s an awesome quality product that is durable, effective, and super easy to use and clean. It melts the wax in a decent amount of time and has simple and intuitive power settings. It does come with a manual and power cord, as well as a few tools, and cloth mits and socks to go over the disposable ones. I think it’s an awesome kit and the wax smells lovely.As for value, I personally think it’s a great value for what you get. This machine will give me tons of uses vs paying the same price at a spa for just one treatment. But if you’re on a budget, grab one when on sale for even better value. 5/5 stars.

Good paraffin wax melting tub and accessories
XJDLXSO “Paraffin Wax Machine”. You get the melting tub device (with cover, AC power cord, and heat insulation grid), six 200 gram packages of lavender wax, pink thermal mittens & boots (plus plastic gloves & socks to go with them), brush & spatula wax spreading tools, and a paper instruction manual.This product is for making therapeutic moisturizing wax baths for your hands and feet.What you do is place some wax blocks in the tub (at least 4-6 is recommended, but you can do up to 18-20, maximum volume 4,000 mL), turn it on, and raise the heat to 167° to melt them, then cool it back down to 127° (don’t go below 115° or the wax will solidify again), and then put the heat insulation grid into the wax to prevent getting burned from touching the heated bottom. Next, dunk your hand or foot in the wax several times to coat it (you can use the brush and spatula to spread the fluid on too), then place your waxed appendage in a plastic glove or sock and cover that with a thermal mitten or boot. Wait 10-15 minutes, remove those, peel the wax off again, and apply some lotion or cream to your skin (not included).The device works as advertised (my skin felt softer and moister afterwards) and is easy to operate (only 3 buttons, power on/off and temperature up/down). It takes a considerable amount of time to heat and cool the wax, and then apply, so this isn’t a quick process (but you can do other activities while you wait to make the time pass faster).There is a danger of burning yourself, so be careful, and don’t allow children or pets around it while the machine is in operation and hot.The wax should be replaced after every use, as it gets contaminated with skin/hair, so, as you only get enough for one bath to start with, it could get expensive buying more paraffin if you’re going to be using this bath frequently. The asking price ($75.99 as I write this) is high, but, not altogether unreasonable considering all the supplies you get along with the unit itself.

At Home Spa Experience and Joint Relief!
I was honestly a little nervous about trying a paraffin wax machine at home because I was convinced it was going to be a huge mess. Thankfully, it was actually much easier and less messy than I expected! I originally wanted to try this because I was dealing with really dry skin around my heels along with some ankle joint pain, and this ended up being such a relaxing way to help with both. The warmth felt amazing on my ankle, especially when it was already aching, and my skin felt so much softer afterward. It feels very spa-like without having to actually go anywhere, which I’ve really enjoyed. The large size is also nice because I can comfortably use it for my feet instead of feeling like I’m trying to awkwardly squeeze them into something too small. I also really appreciate that it comes as a kit with the accessories you need rather than just being the wax warmer by itself. The brush and spatula helped me a lot with spreading it all evenly and in thin layers. The wax melted quickly and easily and I’ve been really happy with the temperature control too. I was mainly hoping it would help with the dryness on my heels, so the fact that I also genuinely enjoy using it when my ankle is bothering me has made it even more useful than I expected. Definitely one of those self-care products that feels like an actual treat to use. I think it’s totally worth the cost and this is something I’ll continue to use for a long time!

You have to experience it for yourself
The first time I ever experienced a paraffin wax machine like this was at physical therapy for my trigger finger. I remember it felt so good and I remember wishing I had one of those at home. It was the one thing I missed when PT was over. Now I do have one and that just makes me giddy. I can not describe how amazing the feeling is when I dip my hands into this wax. I have RA and other medical conditions that affects my joints in my body including in my hands and you would not believe the relief this brings. I don’t understand why it works or how it works, but I just know that it does. This machine in particular works great and it’s super easy to use. As you can see the control panel is super simple. I was worried it may be complicated, but it’s not it is very easy. The machine is actually large enough, that my husband can put his big old feet inside without issue, so there is ample room. Right now this is priced at $76 and it is worth absolutely every penny.

I must be living under a rock, because I had never soaked my hands or feet in wax before (I had heard of it before though). So when I got the chance to order this Paraffin Wax Machine for Hands and Feet, I figured now would be a good time to climb out from under my rock and try it.😉This kit comes with everything needed for a wax treatment, including 6 paraffin wax blocks, disposable gloves and foot covers, cotton mitts and booties, a brush, a scraper, and then of course the large capacity wax melter.After using it for the first time on my hands, I have to admit I’m impressed. Not only did this treatment help soften my skin, but it also helped ease some of the pain and stiffness in my hands. It did take a bit to melt down the entire wax block (over an hour), but the melter did melt it evenly so that all the wax was the same consistency.Overall I’m really glad I got the chance to order and try this Paraffin Wax Machine for Hand and Feet. It helped my hands so much more than I expected, that I’m now excited to try it on my feet next.
