Wax is horrible/stringy, unit does not stay warm
I was so excited to use this product as I usually use Sally Hansen face wax kit for my eyebrows and upper lips at least 1x every 3 weeks and was looking for something that would last a bit longer and be more cost effective. (And something that a pro would use!!) However, the wax was very stringy and the unit does not stay warm. At first I thought maybe I wasn’t waiting enough for the wax to completely melt so I let it sit for a good 35 minutes or so before using and the wax was STILL stringy. So messy! When you go to apply to your skin, the wax strings from the stick to the site of application and it is hard to be precise. You have to twist the stick around when scooping the wax multiple times to get a clean transfer but by the time you do the wax is too cool already!!!!I wanted to return but was sadly 7 days past the return window. UghDo not recommend

Works Great!!!
I did a lot of looking around before I decided to get this product and I am very pleased so far with my purchase. First the product came very quickly and was packaged perfectly and came with zero damage. Instructions were not the best However it is pretty easy to figure out. Getting the temperature right takes a little time but I think that’s the same with anything. I waxed my underarms and legs so far at the writing of this review and I have to say I thought the pain would be more intense but NOPE it did not hurt at all like I thought it would and that’s a PLUS. The two sprays that come with it for prepping and for after the wax worked wonders and the wax worked perfectly i will update as I use more! But as for now I would recommend with product. It works well and is budget friendly.

You can not tell how hot your wax is before use.
The dial to determine how hot you want it is not visible to see. You are able to see if it is on but can not tell if it’s on low or high.The instructions say put it on 100 but the dial reads high or low…. that does not help. There is no instruction on the wax beads or how much to use at a time.I did try it out and it does remove the hair.It comes with a tea tree treatment spray to use before the wax and oil. That’s works pretty good.

Must have, super easy !
Pros : Love that you don’t need strips ! Easy to use for sure. Make sure to put a good layer, I do have long nails but even trying to just get the edge up with just my fingertips is easy to do as well.Cons- ( this first one isn’t really a con more of a preference) the larger sticks are good for arm pit, But I love doing my eye brows and chin so I have popsicle sticks from arts and crafts with my son and they are perfect !I don’t like that it doesn’t keep its temp when you turn it down. It clicks off and starts to harden up which makes it harder to apply unless you re heat. My son is always asking me something or I think about something and get distracted. If they could find a low heat that it could stay set on that would be amazing !I’m a cosmetologist and love waxing !! No joke I could do it all day and I would choose to use this. It works well it’s easy to clean. I love that it comes with the before and after spray, I do like them but I use the before spray they give you and normal aloe after. Just buy it you won’t regret it and always remember to pull the wax off in the opposite direction your hair grows ! Happy waxing everyone !

A good beginner set!
I’ve only had friends use their wax kits on me and I wanted one for myself. So I went for this one, and it’s great! It came with more than enough of everything. I went real small just to try it out, a patch on my arm and one on my leg, and it hurt 100% less than other times. I thought I had done it wrong, but nope. Hair was *gone*. I shaved my legs after a few days, and when the hair I shaved grew back, the part I’d waxed was still smooth. (no ingrown even! I get them almost always and they hurt like heck)So after that I went all out and tried to get rid of my mustache and line up my eyebrows. Again, no pain. The wax is kinda hot, but it cools in seconds and ripping it off is almost suspiciously painless. I kept expecting to find the wax strip empty but it did great work every time. My face didn’t even get uoset, and I have such a sensitive skin type.All in all, if you have no idea what you’re doing, this is a good place to start. Just pick this up (and some of gigis wax cleaner to clean up the wax warmer afterwards 😉) and you’re basically ready to go.

This does what it’s supposed to. I had one of these but had to buy another one because I broke the plug on accident. So. I had to buy what I know and what I am used to.What I love though is that this pack came with the sprays and the wax beads which came in handy because I was running out. Haha.

Very Nice Home Waxing Kit
I would love to give this five stars, but there is definitely room for improvement. I received this last night, and I used it this morning. It comes with everything in the picture and one more bag of wax beads (not pictured) and some tongue depressor size sticks. It is very easy to use. However, you will need to play with the temperature control a bit to get the consistency correct. It took a little more than 15 minutes to melt the beads (I have not tested in on reuse). The scent of the wax is pretty strong, and it would be nice to have some without scent. It does not come with “collars” for around the top, and I’d rather have those than the sticks. I did cut a hole in the center of a paper plate and placed it onto of the unit to catch the mess. As you can see in the picture, the bottom of the unit is fully plastic and does slide on surfaces. I glued some rubber feet onto the plastic feet, and that works well. The directions should be proof read. All in all, I am very pleased with the unit for the price.

Works GREAT with a little practice and patience
There are 3 things to remember with this wax kit. 1. Make sure the wax is warm enough when placing it on skin (even if u have to blow it some before applying), 2. Put wax on THICK enough so you cover the area (even going over it quickly twice with stick), 3. Pull it off BEFORE was completely cools. Do it fast too. In the photos above, I tried to show u the temperature setting I keep it on (2nd setting from high) and how thick I apply it to the spatula and my face. Yes this works great but it’s taken me about 6 tries to get it down perfectly. Last note, if you have really sensitive skin, you will have to blow the wax you apply to the spatula. That will give you less time to get it applied to your face before it starts rehardening. When it starts feeling like the heat is going away from the wax, that’s the time to grab the edge and pull. Also I suggest not wearing clothing but if you do and u spill it on your clothes, use an ice cube on it like you would chewing gum. Then you can use your fingernail or kitchen scrubby to remove the wax.
