I received it yesterday and without haste I quickly plugged and tried it out. Oh my goodness love at first sight! I just hope that doesn’t change in a month or two like some reviews said. Looks very nice, came in five days when estimated to be a week. Nothing is dirty, damaged or unlike the photo. Finally product that does what it promises!
I don’t write reviews very often unless a product is outstanding. Well here I am because after trying the cheaper ones, this was going to be my final hope. I’m so happy that I tried it because even with fine, straight hair, after sleeping on it I would wake up with the frizziest, static hair, it was driving me crazy. I used this for the first time and the results were everything that I expected. On top of that I didn’t need to straighten my hair until the next wash. Even after sleeping on it. At least for my hair. It’s easy to use, just like brushing out your hair. It has different settings so for hair like mine, it won’t burn. It heats up so quickly and the quality is fantastic. I would highly recommend this to anyone! 10 stars 🌟

I ordered this because I was curious but didn’t want to pay the price for the other brand on the chance that I didn’t end up liking it. I’m pretty lazy when it comes to my hair, I will occasionally blow dry it but often times I’ll just wait until it’s dry and flat iron it if I feel like doing anything with it. This seemed like the perfect tool for me since it claims to straighten as you brush.I was skeptical because I have thick, curly/wavy hair that can be a pain to brush but I’ve been extremely happy with this tool. It does a really good job of straightening on the first pass (highest heat setting, without blow drying first). I usually go over it once again at the roots and to slightly curl the end but I generally don’t have to go over an area more than twice. I also really like that I still have some volume after all is said and done. If you want that really sleek look you get from a straightener this won’t quite get you there but I generally like more of a ‘blow out’ look and feel like this does a great job.This is a fairly new tool for me so I can’t speak to longevity but I’ve used it a lot over the last few weeks and so far it’s great.

Easy to use and works very well.
For someone with limited success with flat irons and curling irons, this steam comb is a revelation. It’s extremely easy to use. It’s quick and efficient and very user friendly. It came with a protecting glove that you really need to use because the comb gets extremely hot, two hair clips, a dropper bottle to fill the water tank and a bag. To use it, you tun it on, select your desired temperature and if you want steam, press the steam button. Then you slowly comb through the air section by section. You can use wide sections if your hair is fine and it works well. I selected 300 degrees because I have fine hair and often wear a fine hair topper or fragile extensions. After using it once, the water tank is still almost full so I guess that people who use it everyday would leave the water inside, but as I use heat devices no more than once every 10 days or so, I empty it every time. Before using it the first time I read about steam combs and they said that if the hair is still wet there could be a water bubble that could form inside some hair strands and cause damage but if you wait until the hair is completely dry and you use heat protector, a steam comb is less damaging to hair than a straightening iron. I found that even the first time I used it, with no experience whatsoever, the hair was beautifully straight as I like it.

More of a comb than a brush, but is very sturdy and works perfectly!
This is a hair straightening comb.Upon opening the package, I was pleasantly surprised to receive the main hair straightener, a black glove, a travel pouch and the instructions manual along with a tips pamphlet for healthy hair.I have thin wavy black hair so getting this hair straightener over the regular flat iron seemed like a better option.Now for the straightener specs itself, it can be plugged into 110V-240V which is great because you can take it overseas when travelling and wouldn’t have to worry about finding a voltage transformer.The cord is a pretty decent length, not too long or too short. It’s around 5ft which is an adequate length to plug near your vanity.There are 4 temperature settings. Each setting is listed for a different texture of hair302F/150C for thin, fine or bleached hair.338F/170C for dyed or dark coloured hair374F/190C Normal or slightly curly hair (My favourite temperature)410F/210C Thick, Curly and Wavy HairSome people complain that the temperature doesn’t exceed 450F/230C. However, with my hair type, thin to normal black wavy hair, the third level setting has plenty of heat! You want to use the least amount of heat for your hair type because more heat results in more heat damage to the hair.It has an auto shut off feature after 60 minutes of use. Which is nice because then if you run out in a hurry and forget to turn off the straightener, you can rest assured that it will automatically shut off to prevent any incidents.I have used this hair straightening comb on myself and I have to say that although it is a comb plus straightener combined, you do need to brush or comb out your hair prior to straightening. Do not rely on this straightener to brush and straighten simultaneously.I did try to brush my hair with the straightener but my hair started snagging and taking out very minor hair knots is very difficult.You cannot simply run this on your head as no hair will go inside of it. You have to wiggle your hair into the comb then slowly slide down to properly get the results you want.Straightening hair with this is actually much faster than a flat iron which is why I am geared more towards keeping this in my straightening routine.Be sure to use a good heat protectant spray as with all types of heat applications on the hair because a lot of damage can be prevented!Overall, there definitely is a slight learning curve to this straightener but once you get a hang of it, you will be straightening within no time!Definitely recommend for people who have a hard time with a flat iron. The straightener does straighten hair with great results! Much sturdier and long lasting than the straightening brushes. The rubber tips of those kept breaking. That will not be an issue with this product.
