Not for me
I’m sure this is fine for some, but it’s not for me. It’s a little oily for my taste. If you like a slightly oily topical solution then this could be for you. It feels a little sticky in my hair whereas other hair serums I use are more lightweight or don’t affect the strands of hair at all.

Too greasy on scalp
I really wanted to love this. It smells really good and has some great ingredients listed. Unfortunately when I use it as directed it makes my hair look really greasy and oily. It doesn’t absorb at all. It doesn’t matter how little I use either. Even a few drops near my scalp makes my hair flat and greasy. I tried rubbing a couple of drops in my hands and then using it to smooth my ends and that seems ok. If you’re using it sparingly to add a bit of shine and smoothness it might be good but I cannot continue to use it as a hair growth serum near my scalp because it makes my hair look so bad.

I’ve put a ton of stuff in my hair and have bottle after bottle of this and that. I really like the PURIFECT hair growth oil cause it simplifies my hair care products by putting many of the things I was already using into 1 bottle. Could I have done that?… probably…but let’s be real, it’s easier to have something pre-blended so I know I’m not mixing in too much of chemical X.Will this really make your hair grow? I can’t honestly say, but with the hope that rubbing herbs on my head will help me have a mane that will make Simba green with envy, I’ll keep doing it.Down to the nitty gritty. This is oil. Oil is oily, therefore, yes, it will make your head oily. This could be used as a general make-my-hair-shinier oil and applied to the strands, but if you have a goal of hair growth, it needs to go on your scalp. After you make an oily mess of your head, do yourself a favor and give yourself a scalp massage too. It will feel great AND increase circulation to your scalp, which = healthier hair follicles. Healthy hair follicles = more hair growth, which is what we are going for here.I like to use this on nights I’m planning on washing my hair the next day so I don’t need to worry about looking like I NEED to wash my hair.Overall, I like it. I can’t prove that it works or doesn’t work for hair growth, but I’m sure my scalp appreciates the thought nonetheless.

I really like this, but use it as beard oil!
Out of the gate, I am not using this for the oil’s purported hair growth qualities, so I cannot attest to whether it works for those purposes.Instead, I use this as a beard oil and I absolutely love it! It literally has “all the oils” in it! Did nothing for my hair
I have given this product over a month to give it a chance to show some improvement – nothing major. Unfortunately it did not show any improvement and stopped using it. This was quite oily for my scalp.

Smelled good, oily look and feel
This hair growth oil has a pleasant scent and good ingredients, but it makes my hair look greasy and flat. It’s more effective when used sparingly for styling. The oil is thin and easy to apply, with a light lemony scent. The instructions suggest leaving it on for days, which is confusing, but it’s reasonably priced and easy to use. Cons for me was definitely the oily/greasy look and feel. I used it for over a month and did not see any improvement.

Smells nice; easy to apply
It’s too early to make a judgement on whether this oil treatment works for growth, but for providing quick hair texture improvement, it does work well for my hair. My hair stats: fine, fragile, mostly 2c with some 3a areas at my nape and temples, length just above my elbows when straightened.First thing I noticed is the viscosity of this hair growth oil – it’s thin and almost watery, like vegetable oil.It makes it easy to apply as you can apply even pressure on the dropper to distribute it throughout your hair, and the product streams out smoothly (unlike thicker oils, like castor oil, that can be difficult to distribute easily without applying too much).The smell is also nice, a sort of artificial lemon scent.I set a timer and massaged for 2 minutes, then put my hair into a bun and went about my day, or, if applying at night, pulled on my trusty satin sleep bonnet and went to bed. Note that the instructions recommend applying to damp hair, which is unusual for me when applying hair oils.The instructions did flummox me slightly. It says to leave the oil on the hair, and apply 1 or 2x per week. So…leave it on all week? I do have to shampoo every 3-5 days. I am using this the night before shampoo day, and sometimes the previous night as well.Recommended for ease of use and very reasonable price point.

Lightweight serum and it smells really good
The serum is very lightweight and not overly greasy. It has a really good smell, smells like the tea tree oil. Goes on easily with the dropper. This has a lot of really good natural ingredients in it. Perfect for hair growth. Results are usually visible after about a month or so when taking a product like this, so I’m excited to see how my hair looks in a month. So far I really like it.
