    Good, but pricey given other available options

    As my wife is the one with the long hair in the house, I asked her to review the products in the Jewelry Box. Here is what she had to say:Shampoo – Loved the cleansing feel and results of the shampoo. Has a bit of a Head & Shoulders cleansing feel. It had more of a conditioner type consistency than a typical shampoo and required a lot of working in to the hair and scalp. The scent is rather potent but not overpowering.Conditioner – In comparison to the usual conditioner we buy, there was no noticeable difference in performance. It did a good job at detangling and conditioning.Glossing Treatment – Of the three products in the box, this was the favorite. After following the prescribed treatment times noted in the box, my wife noticed that it made her hair feel soft and shinier than it had been. I noticed a difference as well in her hair especially in the morning when she woke up. Her hair seem less tangled in the morning and as if it required less brushing. From a color aspect, I did notice a sharper & shinier natural blond color to her hair as well.Overall, the products are very nice but the price point leaves something to be desired. The amount of product you get for the price seems a bit over the top. We might consider buying some of the products individually, but as a set it wouldn’t be a recurring purchase item.

    Luxurious

    Probably one of the best hair care kits Ive ever got. If you use this routine altogether it makes your hair SO shiny, and silky and soft! I like that its color safe. While my hair isnt dyed, my sister has used it many times while staying over and has reported that it hasn’t faded her hair at all. The smell isn’t very perfumey but also doesn’t have a strong chemical smell either, to me it just smells like any basic shampoo. Overall I would say that this is a luxurious hair brand that I would buy again and again!

    Very Happy With This Set

    This shampoo may well be the thickest and most luxurious one that I’ve ever tried. It takes only a small amount of shampoo and it lathers quickly and easily. I like how quickly it rinses out and how clean my hair feels after using. The condition is really thick as well and both have a very gentle and very pleasant fragrance. What I really like is that the scent is light and not overwhelming when using or after my hair has dried. The best part for me was how soft, silky, and shiny my hair looked after styling and how great it feels to the touch. There is no tackiness or heaviness and my hair looks so vibrant and healthy. I am very pleased with this set.

    Feels nice but overall not worth it

    I wanted to love this product, but for the value, I feel like there are better options out there. The shampoo and conditioner work fine, but I didn’t feel blown away by them and they don’t offer the things that I want as an middle aged woman (anti-thinning, growth-promoting, thicker, fuller, more luxurious hair). The one thing that it does say that it does (product your hair color), it doesn’t really do that well. I do like the gloss, but as I set that is not affordable for most, I don’t feel like it is totally amazing and I most likely will not order again.

    nice but expensive

    this is definitely more of a luxury item. the packaging of the bottles all have a fancy look to them. the gemstone theme is pretty and makes you think your hair is going to gleam like a stone, so i get this advertising idea. the products work well, the shampoo and conditioner makes my hair feel nice and smells good. the gloss is nice and did make my hair feel smooth and shiny. i think the gloss was my favorite. as a set, i do not think it is worth the $74 price tag. its a cute gift, but i couldn’t see myself dropping $70 on it.

    Smooth, hydrated, lasting color!

    I really love the R+Co brand after trying it in a FabFitFun box. I had used what I had and kind of forgotten about it again until this set, and I’m so glad I have it again. It makes my hair so soft, and obviously it is a major perk to keep your color lasting longer. The ultra shine glossing treatment is my favorite product in the set as it also works as a great deep conditioner and gives great results! It is a great deal as you get the glossing treatment for just a little more than the shampoo and conditioner are already. The products are gluten free and vegan with UV protection.

    I Love the Glossing Treatment a Lot 🙂

    All three products do have safety seals under the caps. It’s a LOT easier to peel them off when your hands aren’t wet.Shampoo: The smell reminds me of old school shampoo. I didn’t particularity like the sharp, slightly floral scent.. It didn’t foam/bubble up much and was actually on the harder side in terms of distributing it through my scalp. My head did feel really clean and it did get the oils out.Conditioner: It smells really sharp and burns my nose. It’s a vinegar like “salon” scent. I didn’t find it pleasant at all. It didn’t detangle at all, but was easy to distribute through my hair.Glossing Treatment: This stuff is awesome! It doesn’t smell that nice, either. It smells sharp like the conditioner, but less burny. I combed it in with a wig comb and then waited five minutes like the tube said to. I rinsed it out and dried my hair as usual. My hair feels so soft now! I really like the way it feels 🙂 I think it’s did make my hair shinier, but it’s pretty shiny anyway, so I can’t really tell. I would get this again :)Nice!

    Says it “locks in color for up to 10 washes”.

    This set is listed as “color-protecting” and the bottle says it “locks in color for up to 10 washes.” However, if my color isn’t lasting for 10 washes, I’m getting a new hair stylist! So overall, it did not really helped much more than any other products I have used that cost a lot less than this set.The GLOSSING TREATMENT says to leave on for 5 minutes before rinsing off. I did notice a difference in how soft and shiny my hair was after using this. If I could get this by itself, I might be willing to purchase this again depending on the price.SHAMPOO has a VERY strong but good smell. Takes a minute to lather up but otherwise seems like any other shampoo.CONDITIONER was also about the same as other conditioners I have, both cheap and expensive.
