    As per my other reviews of the R+Co line, these are professional grade products, you get what you pay for!This is the same scent as most, if not all of the products in R+Co’s BLEU line, which I adore!This product is lightweight, yet still adds some oomph to your hair. My hair is fine and wavy so I really need help with body and volume. A few spritzes and my hair looked amazing!     My Fine Hair Looks Thick, Full & Healthy-Will Use But Not Daily Due To Alcohol & Dry Hair

    My hair is fine and straight, and it lacks body and volume. It gets frizzy especially at the thinner ends and gets flyaways on top at my heavier crown. It can feel rough as my hair dries out and damages easily. I’ve had major breakage especially of the hair that frames my face, but it’s finally recovering after a long time of being extra careful. It’s difficult finding products that address the dryness, damages, frizz and flyaways but don’t weigh my hair down so it’s flat and lifeless. Ideally, I want healthier and thicker looking hair.I’ve used R+Co BLEU Magnifier Thickening Spray a few times after using R+Co BLEU Ingenious Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner. My hair definitely dries looking thicker and having much better volume after I’ve lightly misted this spray on my hair, combed it through and styled with a blow dryer and round brush. This spray is a fine clear mist that feels totally non greasy and weightless on my fine hair. It’s scented and I also smell alcohol, but it leaves just a nice, light scent in my hair.I let my hair air dry a little first so I’m not using as much heat, and my hair feels really manageable when blowing it out after using this spray. It doesn’t dry frizzy or with flyaways, it has fullness and movement, it feels good to the touch and and it isn’t weighed down. I feel it doesn’t look quite as smooth as when I use the products focused on repair and hydration, but my hair looks much thicker and has a lot more volume. It looks healthy and has a nice shape using a round brush. Even the thinning in front looks superior and blends in with the rest of my hair where it’s thicker.While I can’t separate the exact effects of each product in the line, I do feel this Thickening Spray spray maximizes fullness and volume. I also feel that my hair feels strong and looks full and healthy so far. Without using any other products, I don’t have flyaways or frizz. However, given my hair type that’s resistant to hold a style, I like it even better when I add a small touch of R+Co BLEU Optical Illusion Smoothing Oil just lightly from my mid strand to my ends when I’m almost done styling as it adds texture and separation, along with extra hold and shine.Because my hair gets so dry and finally recovering from breakage, I am concerned about using this Thickening Spray daily as denatured alcohol is the first ingredient. It hasn’t caused damage yet and I get such beautiful short run results that I’ll definitely use it on occasions when I want some extra oomph. But the heat from blow drying combined with alcohol probably isn’t something my hair can handle regularly. I’m taking a star off for the alcohol, though the spray really makes my hair look thicker, more voluminous and lively so far. 4 stars.

    Super effective thickening spray that also provides intense root lift when used as a style prep. Unlike a lot of thickening or volumizing products like sea salt spray that remove the slip of wet hair and provide more of a grip to the hair strand, the thickening agent here doesn’t dehydrate the hair as much so there’s still a nice glide while doing the client’s blowout. Also nice is that there’s less of a crisp or coarse feel to the hair when dried, so for clients who might be looking for volume and lift without adding much texture, this is a fantastic option as well.There is very little style longevity to this product on its own, however, so don’t get so enamored with your finished, lifted look that you forget to spritz with a little lightweight or medium-hold spray to keep your client’s blowout looking great for hours. A little does go a long way and while this is a very small bottle, you’ll probably get plenty of use out of it before needing to re-up. For clients, I can easily see someone getting a year out of this bottle especially if they aren’t washing daily. This does help to extend shampoo time for thinner hair I think as well, not by tons but maybe by a day or so which is always nice for anyone looking to work on reducing shampoos.Overall this is a fantastic product and it’s worth working with a little to discover its magic for sure. Recommended.

    It smells great but that’s it

    Let me start out by saying this smells delicious!!! But it didn’t make my hair feel or look fuller. I just might still buy it for the smell alone, I haven’t found my Holy Grail yet. So good.

    Recommended by my hair-stylist … which he uses in his salon! I call it THE FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH for my hair. LOVE THIS STUFF. Spray on clean damp hair and style. Leaves my fine, thinning hair smooth and looking fuller and healthier. HIGHLY recommend.

    The description says that it is unscented but it has a strong scent. If you are sensitive to perfumes, do not buy this product. Amazon will not let you return this item.

    Incredible Scent, So Effective!

    First, the packaging is beyond luxe! Really gorgeous! Then, the design of the bottle is ultra-cool! It will definitely grab a second look when sitting on the counter of your bathroom.The scent is not overwhelming but it is also so pretty! And, it’s easy to think the scent has dissipated, but them you shake out your hair or move and there is this little lingering scent that is just so clean and lovely.And, yes, this really does “magnify” hair. (That’s really such a good word for it!) So, I’m not a fan of stiff or sticky products … and this is not that. Instead, it just seem to give more body and more volume (but in a really natural way).So, my hair now looks more dramatic and smells incredible. That is such a win-win! Love this!
