Basic dryer
I expected the brand Remington to be more reliable and high quality. This hair dryer is very basic and while smaller than typical ones, is still a little too large to be considered portable. There are no variable functions like heat settings or speed. It’s just straight heat blasted out. For me, it’s not a problem because I’ve never been a big user of various settings or needed things like a diffuser. But if you’re looking for a multi-functional device that will allow different settings, this isn’t the one. But for what it is, it does the job: it’s a quality dryer, easy to use, and easy to store. There’s no learning curve required – just plug in and turn on. I trust the brand and longevity of the devices it makes.

Lightweight, compact, and works well
I’m very happy with how well this works, especially considering how lightweight and compact it is. It performs exactly as I hoped and is easy to handle while I’m using it. Because it weighs so little, my arms don’t get tired nearly as quickly, which makes it much more comfortable to use for longer periods.I also really appreciate the compact size. It doesn’t take up much room when it’s not being used, so it’s easy to store and convenient to pull out whenever I need it. The combination of good performance, light weight, and easy storage makes it very practical.Overall, it works well without being bulky or tiring to use.

The Remington MyStylist Hair Dryer is simple, lightweight, and easy to use without a bunch of complicated settings. For the price, it actually performs really well. The dryer is compact and surprisingly powerful. The high setting dries my hair faster than I expected and the ceramic grill helps keep the heat even. The cool shot button is big and easy to press. The concentrator attachment works well, though it doesn’t come with a diffuser. It’s lightweight, easy to store, and the long cord makes it convenient to use without feeling stuck in one spot. The heat does get pretty hot but overall it’s a solid everyday dryer if you just want something straightforward and reliable. For travel or quick morning routines, it gets the job done.

Cute, compact & nerfed Revlon blow dryer
This is… fine.I was excited when I ordered it because I have been meaning to try a diffuser on my hair, but despite the listing saying it includes one, it did not. Cue extreme disappointment.That said, it’s small & cute & somewhat convenient for travel. It’s probably about half the size of my regular Revlon blow dryer, 2/3 the size of my backup blow dryer. Not miniature, but smaller indeed.For a compact dryer, it only has one heat setting, but it does have two intensity settings which… is interesting, because the low setting is so weak that I can’t really imagine it being very useful to anyone for styling, and the high setting is about the same as the low setting on my regular blow dryer.The heat, however, just keeps getting hotter as you use it. My hair is the frizziest I’ve seen it in a year because of this. Not ideal, but to save some space and need to nerf some features, fair enough?Don’t expect regular Revlon quality out of this compact-for-travel design, but it’ll work in a pinch if you need something that’s easier to Tetris into your luggage.

Great simple hair dryer, but does NOT come with a diffuser!
In reviewing the hair dryer, I would say it’s 5 out of 5 stars. It’s a simple dryer that works well. The button slides easily up and down from off, to low with medium heat, to high speed with high heat. It does heat up pretty well. There is a cool shot button that is really easy to press, it’s nice and big, so you can find it with your finger without having to see it. There is a hook at the base of the hair dryer to hang it up somewhere when not in use. The cord feels nice and sturdy and has one of those safety boxes at the end of it with the plug in it. There is no attached Velcro strip to wrap the cord up with, however. The color is a really pretty dark purple/ blue. It has an attachment that funnels the air in closer so you can use it for aiming the air in one place on your head, which works great for blow outs. The only reason I gave this product 3 Stars is because it falsely advertised that it came with a diffuser head. One of the products photos specifically says “What’s in the box” and it shows a picture of a diffuser head that says “Curl defining diffuser”. And it’s not like it was forgotten, the box literally has no place to store one so I know it doesn’t actually come with one. Not sure why it would be advertised like that, so I hope they take down that picture so other curly haired people like me don’t order it like I did thinking it has a diffuser. I can’t use a regular hair dryer on my hair, it will end up looking like a large Egyptian sphinx. So that said, nice hair dryer but not as advertised so I docked it a few stars.If your looking for a simple hair dryer that has a cool shot button, isn’t oversized and is a timeless namebrand, this is for you. But keep in mind, there is no diffuser included.

Small but mighty
They say big things come in small packages. This little hair dryer has a lot of power!It works great and gets really hot (be careful), which is why I’m glad it has the cool blast button.It is simple, there are only 2 settings and no heat options except the cool button.It’s light and easy to use.The cord is long so you have options where to stand/ plug it in.I don’t know if it’s user error, but I couldn’t get the fast drying concentrator accessory to fit on. Mine also didn’t come with the curl accessory so I wasn’t able to try that one.It’s a pretty color so I don’t mind using the built in hook to hang it in my bathroom.Just be careful putting it away because the tip and outside end gets pretty hot.
