    Excellent for Tackling Tangles, while Making me Subway-Safe!

    Love this! I mainly grabbed this for the detangling, but also a little for the “extra protection” angle since I’m on the subway some days and… it’s the subway. Better safe than sorry.As a detangler, it does a pretty good job. It smooths things out and doesn’t leave my hair greasy or heavy, which is excellent — I’ve got very light, fine hair, and most products leave me looking greasy. This didn’t! Nice, light, and easy to use — the atomizer makes a nice fine mist that ensures a really even distribution and helps keep my hair from being more weighed down in some sections than others too. It’s easy to press the atomixer and hold the bottle as well, so no need to worry about this being a two-handed application process. One is enough! I’d even say my hair feels a bit softer and I have less flyaways, especially after brushing my hair while its dry.The scent is VERY strong at first, but nothing bad — very herbaceous, tea tree, spa scent type of thing. I’m sensitive to smells and this didn’t trigger anything, so no issues there — just a heads up. No issues with leakage, but on the bright side, if it ever DID leak, you’d be able to tell right away lol.I think this will last a while, since I need very little, but someone with more/thicker hair will likely find themselves going through it faster. OVerall, I think this is a good product, and good value overall. 5 stars!

    This is such a convenient spray-and-go option for helping ward off lice. As a teacher and a parent of three, I really appreciate how easy it is to spray it into our hair and simply brush it through. It smells pleasant, and the leave-in conditioner leaves our hair feeling soft, smooth, and tangle-free.The bottle itself has been great—no leaking at all. It’s also a good size and lasts quite a while, depending on how often you use it and how much you apply each time. The pump is a little stiff, but it still works just fine.Overall, this is a quick and easy lice-repellent option that fits perfectly into our routine. It’s a great value, and I highly recommend it.

    I picked this up mainly as a preventative spray during school season, but I also liked that it works as a leave-in conditioner and detangler. It sprays evenly, helps with brushing through tangles, and leaves hair feeling softer without making it greasy or heavy. The scent is very herbal with strong tea tree and eucalyptus notes. It’s pretty intense right after spraying, but it fades quite a bit once the hair dries. Personally, I don’t mind it, but kids who are sensitive to smells may not love it. Appearance of bottle looks normal and durable. I like that the ingredients are more natural and that it’s easy to use daily on hair, backpacks, or hats for extra peace of mind. Overall, it feels like a practical product to keep around, especially for families with school-age kids. Price point at the time of review seems to be reasonable.

    Smoother, softer, tangle-free hair

    This is a very effective detangler that also leaves hair feeling smoother and softer. The scent is a strong herbal scent that fades as it dries and I find it pleasant as opposed to heavily cloying floral or “fake” chemical scents (like fake vanilla, etc.).The spray bottle is very sturdy and works well for distributing the liquid and for me, I only need one, maybe two pumps for my son’s hair. I would consider this a good purchase as a bottle will last a long time and the price is very reasonable since the spray actually works as advertised. I would assume it works well at repelling lice as I am not sure how to confirm that other than the fact my son doesn’t have lice? It’s affordable enough to at least try it out to see if it’ll work for you.

    Strong scent prevents!

    After dealing with lice a few years ago (I would not wish it on my worst enemy!) I have a kit on-hand to combat a possible outbreak, and we use preventive leave-in spray daily for school anyway, so I was interestsd in trying this reasonably priced Repel with Detangler & Leave-in Conditioner with Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Lavender & Rosemary Oils – a 8 oz Spray. My girls have waist-length hair and it was an absolute nightmare to deal with!Directions encourage you to shake well and use liberally, especially on the back of the neck and behind the ears, where lice tend to congregate. The Rosemary, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, and Lavender oils act as a scent repellent to keep lice away, while the aloe water and chamomile smooth and detangle the hair, making it difficult for bugs to attach. The formula also works to strengthen, soften, and hydrate for healthy hair! You can also use this to mist belongings like backpacks, coats and hats!I appreciate this has natural, chemical-free ingredients and is made in the USA by an environmentally-conscious small business. For under $15, this is a necessary, daily-use product if you have kids, or work with them. I hope this keeps us louse-free!

    Nice ingredient list! 🙂 Leaves hair silky!

    I live in the downtown area of a huge city. Things like lice are always a concern. Not to mention my hair is damaged and frizzy. I saw this Repel with Detangler & Leave-in Conditioner and decided to give it a try. This product is the best of both worlds. It makes your hair look and feel healthier and also happens to repel lice. I wouldn’t be surprised if this spray deters other bugs as well. It’s got a scent that is known to keep pests away. I love that the ingredient list for this spray is full of natural essential oils. Everything in it is good for your hair, and even your skin. However, this stuff has a very strong smell. Personally, I love it. But it may not be for everyone. Right out of the bottle all you can smell is tea tree oil. It’s pungent. After spraying your hair and letting it dry, the scent does die down. The tea tree oil smell fades, and you’re left with a more mild herbal scent. This spray is effective. It makes my hair softer and shinier without weighing it down. I do find that it’s easier to brush. I’ve had no negative side effects or bad reactions to this product. And I haven’t gotten lice, although I can’t say for sure that it’s because of this spray. I’ve been fortunate not have have gotten lice so far in my life. But to be honest, my educated opinion is that this spray is effective in repeling lice because it contains ingredients that are proven to work. This bottle has a good amount of product, and it should last awhile, so I think it’s a great value for the money. Not to mention, it works well. I would recommend this product to others, but with a warning about the potent fragrance.
