A nice refresh
I noticed my shaver was starting to tug on my facial hair lately, which was making my morning routine pretty uncomfortable. After checking my model number, I found that these replacement heads were compatible with my Philips Norelco 5000X. I was a little hesitant about using non-branded parts, but I decided to give them a shot to save some money.The shave itself has been great. The difference in quality was almost instant. My skin no longer feels irritated, and I am getting a much closer shave than I was with the old, dull blades. The foil is very flexible, which helps it contour to my face much better. I also love that I can use them for both dry shaving and wet shaving in the shower since they are so easy to rinse off.Installing them was a total breeze. You basically just click the old ones off and press the new ones into place until they lock. It took me less than a minute to swap them out. I also really like that they include the small trimmer head for detailing, which is something I use quite a bit for my sideburns.Overall, these are a fantastic way to refresh a shaver that is starting to lose its edge. It is much more affordable than buying the official replacements from the manufacturer, yet they work just as well. If you have a 5000X series shaver that is starting to feel uncomfortable or dull, I highly recommend picking these up.

In my experience, this requires more frequent blade changes on the electric to get a close shave. The old razor’s assembly came off easily, and these replacement heads clicked right into place without any trouble. After the first use, the shaver felt smoother across my face and seemed to cut more evenly. These work great! If you don’t have a 5000X shaver, you can pop out the three cutters and install them in any similar shaver. (That’s what I did when I realized I had a different model)

This replacement head isn’t as good as the original. The plastic cap doesn’t fit properly and the blue paint on the rings surrounding the blades is rubbing off. Disappointing, because I look the smooth, comfortable shave.
