A very nice premium shaving cream
Okay, so I don’t say premium lightly here because the shave soaps that I usually use are Haslinger, Pre De Provence, and Le Pere Lucien so I feel like I’m familiar with what a premium product is. In my opinion this checks all the boxes necessary for me to consider it a premium shaving cream: It’s easy to lather – you don’t need very much – and it maintains the lather over the course of the shave, It’s very very slick, and the scent is a very traditional barbershop, which I love! Price point is there as well, because you only need a small amount of the product to produce a lather fit for a three pass shave. Overall I’d give this product a solid A Great Job RMBC!I used a finest badger brush and face lathered.

I have only used this once since getting it but it made for a great shave. The lather is rich and creamy with a small amount. My face and especially my neck were nick free and felt so smooth and good. I might even skip the pre shave oil next time to see if I even need it with this stuff!

First time trying any of this old style razor and cream. Bought straight razors which were no good dry shaving which I’m used to with fancy 5 blade disposables. so got this and now blades cut like butter. Really wanted barbershop smell and got it but smell is just okay to me. It not as accurate or as strong as I recall or hoped. Still Smooth shave doesnt irritate my face which is easy to do. Little lathers nice too and little goes long way just wish stronger scent.

This shaving cream is almost a barbershop scent. It does smell very fresh and a highly clean scent. Itcomes with the lid filled with the shaving cream, ( probably because of the shipping process ). Youcan spoon it back into the container. One thing is for certain, it will go a long way. I used a brushand a small amount on the end of the brush is well enough for a good shave.It stays moist and keeps your whiskers soft throughout the shave. Rinses clean and leaves your facewithout irritation. The only thing that I find that I am not satisfied with is, the price is a little muchfor a can of shaving cream. I imagined the can would be a little bigger. However, the descriptiondid mention the ounces. ( MY FAULT ). Other than that, it’s a fine smelling and good shaving cream,for a comfortable shave…

I have been in the military for 23 years (and counting), so i shave almost daily. I prefer brush shaves, and over the years have tried multiple products, soaps, foams, gels, creams..etc, and i can say with confidence that this cream is the best i have ever used. I put a small amount on a damp brush( i am using the term damp lightly) and it was plenty, i could have shaved my face twice with the coverage a little bit produces. They also nail the the “barbershop scent” This will be my staple as long as i shave! I used it with a modern 5 bladed razor, but with the excellent sheerness and thickness, i will be dusting off my safety razor when i have time to enjoy the shave! I am hooked!

This shaving cream is fantastic! I use about a dime size of cream in a shave bowl. It whips up a real nice, rich lather in about 10-15 seconds with a wet shaving brush. I use it to shave my head, not my face. With only having to use such a small amount of cream, I expect to get 6+ months use out of this tin. As far as the scent goes, you only get the barbershop scent in the tin. After I whip up a lather and apply it to my head, I really don’t smell the scent, but that doesn’t take away that this is a fantastic shaving cream. I’ll check out the sandalwood scent the next time I need to buy one!

I waited on this to do a proper test. I did a small review before but I could not mention everything.Did I mention the glide! No, i did not. This shaving cream makes the whiskers disappear! The razor glide over your face is fantastic. I just love this product. You have to commit to old fashioned shaving but hell, it is just wonderful. The women in the family love the scent. I have gotten used to it but it turns the girls on. It is definitely worth the price. The tin lasts forever. Get it and get a brush and do shaving right.

Sorry, Mountain shaving cream producers. I made a big mistake and will promote your unique, superior product. It is a very superior, unique product.My wife had used my razor for non razing whiskers … sweaters, carpet and such. I wish to apologize to the Canadian maker of this fantastic shaving cream. A dap the size of a pea, a fresh blade on a warm face gives the best, smoothest shave and after skin conditioning I have ever felt.Thank you for your superior product. Smells exactly like a barbershop!
So I’ve been buying Rocky Mountain, barber companies, shaving cream, and shaving products for about two years now, and I decided to try the barbershop, shaving cream versus the sandalwood. The first thing I noticed when I opened it is that it smells exactly like a classic barbershop. So the scent is spot on! It’s definitely a very strong, but not overpowering scent. I have finished using the product now, but I will continue to buy the sandalwood scent, as I think it was a little bit better for me personally. But if you’re looking to find some shaving cream that smells exactly like a barbershop this is the one you want to get! It’s super easy to lather up and you don’t really need much of it at all to get a very thick lather! Highly recommend!

This cream comes premixed in a nice metal tin.The large lid is screw top so it stays sealed and fresh for travel.Nice graphics on the outside explain what it is and the instructions on the bottom are easy to follow.The consistency is creamy with a pearl like sheen.The fragrance is nice but not strong.The fragrance will disapate after shaving.The Barbershop fragrance is clean-soap smelling.I took a small amount on my badger brush and swirled in my ceramic shave bowl with a little warm water.It quickly made a rich lather and adding more water and whisking created a pillowy cream foam.Lubrication and moisturizing was excellent.Shaving with a Henson DE shaver and the results were great.Can also be applied directly to your face with your fingers.Made in Canada by a Canadian Company(not a big corporation who makes their products overseas)
