Lightweight Scalp Treatment With a Fresh Scent
I ordered the Rodan + Fields DENSIFYING+ Treatment because I wanted something I could add to my hair routine to help my scalp feel healthier and support fuller looking hair without making my roots greasy. My first impression is that it feels very lightweight and absorbs quickly, so I can use it without feeling like I have a bunch of product sitting on my scalp. I really like the fresh citrus scent, which makes applying it feel more pleasant than some of the scalp treatments I’ve tried, and my hair still feels clean and soft afterward. The 60 mL bottle is a reasonable size for a treatment like this, and I think the quality and easy daily application make it a good value if you’re looking for something to add to a consistent hair care routine. I don’t really have any complaints so far, although this is definitely the kind of product where I’d expect to use it consistently rather than look for overnight results. Overall, I’m really happy with how lightweight and easy to use the Rodan + Fields DENSIFYING+ Treatment is, and I like that it fits into my routine without weighing my hair down.

Ultra lightweight hair treatment
This is one of the top names in skin and hair care.This is meant to improve the health of your scalp, increase volume.This spray is on very light. Does not feel heavy or thick as some volumizing I products do.The smell is very lightweight a little bit citrusyThey sprayed on nicely, then enough so that it does spray and then you massage it into the scalp and it really does feel good on the scalp.It’s really not sure what the long-term effect is, but as far as a day-to-day treatment, it does appear to help my hair have more lift and volume.Not so noticeable that people stop and ask me what I’ve done but enough that I can tell a difference.

Awesome lightweight scalp treatment that streamlined my curly hair routine!
I’ve been testing out this Rodan + Fields Densifying+ Treatment, and it’s honestly been a really pleasant surprise. It’s basically like a lightweight skincare treatment, but for your scalp. Instead of just coating your hair like a standard styling cream, this product uses peptides, ceramides, and antioxidants (they call it a “TriEnergy Complex”) to keep your scalp healthy and hydrated without making your roots greasy. It plumps up your roots to make them look fuller with more volume.It has a pump bottle so you could apply it directly to your scalp, but I prefer to pump it into my hands and apply it to my scalp that way. When I massaged it in, I got a nice, refreshing little tingle and could feel that there was product on my scalp, but it didn’t feel heavy, sticky, or greasy.I was able to comb right through my wet hair with no resistance or tangles. Because it gave a lightweight lift at the roots, I was actually able to skip my usual root-lifter mousse, oil spray, and hairspray completely. By later in the day, my 2C/3A curls looked bouncy, fluffy, and full with natural definition and zero frizz. It was a great time saver and a really nice addition to my routine.

Easy Scalp Treatment With a Nice Scent
I’ve been using this as part of my hair routine and so far I think I like it. I have fine, somewhat thin hair, and I really appreciate that this can be applied to either completely dry or towel-dried hair. Other scalp treatments I’ve tried have been pretty specific about when and how they need to be applied, so having that flexibility is nice.The nozzle also makes it really easy to direct the product exactly where I want it along my scalp and roots. It’s a little thicker than I expected, but it’s easy enough to massage in and doesn’t leave my hands feeling overly greasy. It also has a clean, citrusy scent that I like. I think my hair looked a little better when I applied it to towel-dried hair and then let my hair dry completely. I haven’t noticed any real densifying results yet, but I know those things take time. I’m planning to keep using it until I finish the bottle and see what happens. If I notice a difference, I’d definitely consider reordering. I also feel good about the ingredient list. I can’t use topical minoxidil because it’s toxic to pets, so I’ve been interested in trying other options for supporting hair and scalp health.

Something in this irritates my scalp.
This sounded like a potentially good product for me. My hair tends to shed after stress and then regrows, and I’m still in the shedding phase.This is a thin lotion-like product in a bottle with a long spray nozzle that I can get up to my scalp, but the product still gets on my hair and is difficult to distribute evenly. It smells amazing, but unfortunately the fragrance might be part of what has causes my scalp to be itchy both times I’ve tried this. I think it’s a scalp conditioner, but it may also be more conditions than my scalp wants.This might be a great product for the right person who isn’t sensitive to one or some of the ingredients, but unfortunately it’s not the product for me.

Wonderful treatment, but beware of the price!
I’ve always wanted to try something from Rodan + Fields, but the price has been a deterrent. Needless to say, I was thrilled when I got the chance to try this DENSIFYING+ Treatment, and I love, love, love the results so far. I’ve used many density-boosting and strengthening treatments with varying degrees of success. This sweet-scented concoction certainly sits near the top of the list, because my hair looks better anytime I use it.Now, this is not a hair product, but a scalp treatment, but for whatever reason, my hair seems to perk up after I’ve applied this. The treatment is thicker than I expected, but it sinks into my skin cleanly, leaving no residue or greasy feeling. Just a couple of drops applied and massaged into my scalp makes my head feel refreshed and makes my hair behave better. Maybe a happy scalp makes for happy hair. I don’t know the answer, but I admit that I love the results.Bottom line – after using this, my hair feels like hair, looks like hair, and behaves like someone else’s hair. It’s clearly a good product. So why only four stars? Ultimately, I find it hard to justify the steep price of this treatment. If I had unlimited funds, I would not hesitate to add this one to my routine. Like most people, though, I do not have that luxury, and I do have scalp treatments that are good and not so dear. I do recommend it, but try to get it on sale!

I am loving how this does my mess of color-treated, crying-for-help hair!
My hair is kinda a mess. It’s wavy/curly, but I rarely take the time to actually do what it needs (aka, the hour it takes after a shower to do my hair products, defuse, plop, scrunch, and billion of other things to make my curls/waves actually look posh). Because of that, most of the time my hair is frizzy but still somehow looks lackluster and dull and without actual volume.Separately, I LOVELOVELOVE R+F hair products. They are a bit costly, but also, they have never ever let me down. They cost more than your regular dime-store products, but there is a reason for that; they do their research, they formulate good solutions to common hair problems, and they use excellent ingredients. Those things aren’t cheap. And maybe yeah, you’re paying a bit for the name on the bottle, but you won’t find this quality for a cheap price (usually, there are always the diamonds in the rough products out there).I love the smell of this serum, and I love that it doesn’t mess up my color (which I pay a pretty penny for, for sure!), and I love that it’s super easy to apply pretty evenly. I can’t speak to the hair growth quite yet, but I can tell you that my hair looks very healthy and it certainly LOOKS fuller!

Does not have minoxidil for long term hair growth benefit
The densifying formula composed of many ingredients that will assist with making hair fuller but long term effect is probably not going to be effective since it does not have minoxidil to help hair growth with proven effectiveness. Hair does come appear to have more volume and a nice shine to it. It also helps reduce tangles. There is a subtle floral scent to it which isn’t too overpowering so much appreciated since it does not seem to cause any unwanted headaches. For what it advertise and what it actually does I would have expected a lower price point.
