Nice Formula, But Too Early to Judge Results

So far, I really like this formula. I’ve been using it for less than a week, so I obviously can’t say yet how well it performs for hair growth or whether I’ll see any noticeable results. I’ll need to use it longer and come back with an update once I have enough time to really judge the performance.As far as the formula itself, I have no complaints. It hasn’t irritated my scalp, and I actually really like the natural peppermint scent. It feels nice to apply and hasn’t left my scalp feeling uncomfortable or greasy.The one thing I’m unsure about is the value. Based on what I’ve seen so far, the formula doesn’t seem to stand out significantly from other hair growth products that contain similar ingredients like rosemary, peppermint, castor oil, and biotin. There are quite a few comparable products available at much lower price points, so at this point, it feels like you may be paying more for the brand rather than a formula that is noticeably different.I’m still giving it 5 stars because my experience with the product so far has been positive. It smells good, doesn’t irritate my scalp, and is pleasant to use. I just can’t honestly speak to the hair growth claims yet. I’ll definitely need to update this review at a later date once I’ve had enough time to see how well it actually performs.

En el mercado existen alternativas con estos mismos activos, así que veremos si los efectos son los que promete.Tengo grandes espectativas pero sé que requiere tiempo porque no es un producto milagroso o ultra rápido así que iré viendo los resultados con paciencia y pondré el antes y después en las imágenes.

Uncertain ingredients. Watery & drippy.

This is a peppermint and rosemary based scalp treatment. I have used similar treatments to oil my scalp before. I liked this product much less than similar products I have used in the past because the ingredients were unclear and the formula was watery. Similar products, some with organic certifications, are quite affordable. This small, 2 ounce bottle was not a good value.♤ Ingredients:The label looks blurry and hand printed. There isn’t a complete ingredients list. The country of origin and place of manufacture are not listed.The label only lists “key ingredients”. This includes ingredients which are often found in scalp treatments including rosemary, peppermint, biotin and castor oil. These are usually affordable ingredients.Then the label lists Vulominoso – V – Complex. I am not really sure what that is because there are no hints as to what it is or how it might work. Perhaps this mystery ingredient is supposed to merit a higher cost or luxury product.I really hope there isn’t minoxidil in this because it could be a risk to my pet cat. I decided to discontinue use as I am uncertain. Minoxodil is the only thing clinically shown to regrow hair. It can also be a risk to pets. Hair growth products should clearly state if it’s present or not.♧ Quality:This looks like an emulsion of oil and water as opposed to an oil based product. It has a cloudy appearance, which suggests an emulsion. The formula is thin and watery. It drips everywhere and runs down my scalp. The peppermint and rosemary smell nice but there was also a musky scent like old fashioned cologne.◇ Use:I planned to use this to oil my scalp but the consistency is too watery and runny for that. It dries too fast and drips too much for a scalp massage. A traditional scalp oil would be better for oiling and massaging the scalp.The product seems to propose varying uses including a) making hair look fuller b) making the scalp healthier to encourage hair growth or c) to regrow hair in previously balding or thin patches. These are three very different things. Most hair styling products can make hair look fuller temporarily. Regrowing hair in thin spots is something few products can do.The photos seem to show hair growing where there was previously sparse hair or bare patches. Only minoxodil is likely to accomplish that but the label is unclear as to whether it is present.Peppermint can stimulate the scalp. Castor oil can moisturize the scalp. Neither ingredient will regrow hair in thinning or balding areas.I do not have thinning hair but I wouldn’t recommend this product to people who do. I also don’t recommend it for scalp oiling. I was just looking for a minty oil to oil my scalp. I will stick to other products with a complete ingredients list and a less watery formula.

Sceptical

I’ve been using this as directed for about 3 weeks now, so about 9 treatments. Maybe 20% or so of the bottle so far.It’s easy to apply, has a nice mint scent. I like this style of applicator versus a dropped.The box has a place to list batch, expiration date etc, but it wasn’t filled out. That a thing I always check for, so disappointed to see it not being used.The bottle I received looks thin and watered down when compared to the product advertisement. It is indeed much closer to water than a typical hair oil product. This makes it a little easier to apply I guess, but given that the listed ingredients that we know (biotin, castor, peppermint, rosemary) are not expensive oils, I’m unsure why this is so thin. There are other ingredients mentioned on the advertisement, but not on the box or bottle, so not sure what to believe there.The advert lists the following ingredients: Biotin Oil, Castor. Oil, Rosemary Oil, Peppermint Oil, and Vulominoso’s Vitamin Complex, Propelyne Glycol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Iodopropynyl , Hydroxyethil CelluloseThe final ingredient aside from those mentioned above is something called “Vulominoso – V – Complex”. I suppose maybe that’s all the other things they didn’t mention on the box or the bottle, but no way to know for sure. The term itself returns zero applicable search results (same as the company name, interestingly).As mentioned I’ve used this as directed for 3 weeks so far, and while I realize it’s too early to tell maybe, I haven’t noticed any results yet. This stuff IS NOT CHEAP, so I’ll be sure to complete the first bottle at least. By that time, I should have confirmation if this is a good hair oil afterall, of just aceite de serpiente.
