    Perfect fit for my Shark FlexStyle system (model HD461BK)

    My Shark FlexStyle system (model HD461BK) came with a round brush attachment that was too big for the looks I was going for. Original name brand attachments are so expensive, so I was excited to see this narrower round brush attachment at a good price.I am definitely satisfied with this attachment, even though it is not the name brand. The part snapped in easily and securely, stayed on through my entire session (I have waist-length hair), and removed just as quickly and easily as it went on. Other than the color and the price tag, it’s very much like the original parts. It feels sturdy and I think it will last.I think the current listing price of $19.99 US is a good value for this high quality attachment, especially compared to original replacement parts. I’m very satisfied with the quality and function and can’t justify paying extra for the name brand.

    Great alternative to name brand attachment

    This attachment fits my Shark FlexStyle perfectly! I found that it connected the same way my OEM attachments connected. The attachment worked great to help dry and style my hair and gave me some nice volume! I have short hair, so the width of this barrel was just right, I’ve found larger barrels don’t work as well as this one.Overall this seems pretty durable and easy to use. The only differences I noticed between this attachment and the OEM attachments are that it is lighter and doesn’t come in any other shades except the beige/champagne (so it doesn’t match my black FlexStyle, but that doesn’t affect how it works).For half the price of the OEM attachments, this is a great value.

    Works as intended

    This attachment fits my shark well, and the bristles are good quality. It’s easy and straightforward to use. I think this will last me a couple of years since I do not straighten or blow out my hair often. I think this would be awesome for a Dominican blowout because the bristles are perfect for that. The bristles seem durable enough to handle coarse hair.Because of the attachment, it’s ways to use as long as you have a shark and can use it well. This is affordable and depending on what you use it for, I think it’s worth the money.Overall, I would recommend trying this attachment out if you want tot save money and have a round brush for blowouts.

    Poor Quality and Overpriced for What It Offers

    I did not like this brush attachment and was disappointed with the overall quality. The bristles are thin and had a difficult time gripping my hair, which made it harder to style effectively. I also found that it left my hair feeling frizzy rather than smooth.The tips of the bristles felt very sharp and uncomfortable against my scalp, and I was concerned that they could potentially cause damage or unnecessary pulling on my hair.Yes, this is a cheaper alternative to the name-brand Shark attachment, but in my opinion, the quality is noticeably lower. I also think the price point is still too high for what this attachment offers. Overall, I would not recommend it and would not repurchase.

    Fits My Shark FlexStyle Well, but the Bristles Are Disappointing

    This attachment fits my Shark FlexStyle securely, but the bristle quality and styling performance fall short of the original Shark attachments. The bristles bend easily, don’t grip my thick, wavy hair particularly well, and aren’t very gentle against my scalp.I ordered this to add another volumizing brush option for my Shark FlexStyle HD400 series. Compatibility was not an issue. It clicked securely into place with no wobbling or looseness, and the connection feels well made.Unfortunately, the brush itself was disappointing. I have thick, soft, wavy hair, and I didn’t find that this attachment provided any styling benefit over the original attachments that came with my FlexStyle. The bristles don’t hold my hair as effectively and aren’t particularly gentle when the brush gets close to my scalp.Durability is another concern. Some of the bristles were already bent when the attachment arrived, and they are loose enough that they bend fairly easily. They also don’t hold up particularly well when the attachment is stored in the carrying bag that came with my FlexStyle, making this less convenient for regular storage or travel.The attachment body itself feels sturdy, and the fit is excellent, but those positives don’t overcome the issues with the part of the brush that actually contacts and controls the hair.Overall, I prefer the original Shark attachments for comfort, hair control, and construction. I’m just surprised because the accessories usually do fit. However, I am able to adapt and get this to work (though less ideally) with my device for the purposes of giving this product a fair test. Please note that I did NOT deduct any stars from my rating due to it not fitting.I can’t rate this higher because it really does not look like what I expected to receive. The product listing images show a noticeably wider brush than what I received. This one is OK if that’s what you’re looking for, but I dislike what I feel is a dishonest and deceptive practice. I also feel the unrealistic depiction of the color and overall appearance of the brush attachment is misleading. As a consumer, I highly value transparency, so this lost major points for me by not matching what I expected to receive.As for build quality, again, this is OK. It looks like it should work with an actual Shark FlexStyle system. It isn’t especially sturdy feeling, but then again I appreciate it being lightweight. I don’t love how thin and flimsy the bristles are, however. They are, as described, nylon, which I am glad is vegan unlike boar bristles, but I worry it won’t hold up as well over time, especially with heat.As always, this is entirely my own original, honest feedback based on my personal, inexpert experience with this product.     Excellent addition to my set of attachments

    This item does the trick as an additional styling tool to the shark flex style dryer. It fits perfectly and feels very much like the same base material as the brand-name appliance. Since I don’t have your actual brand-name attachment to compare it to, can’t address the style or material of the bristles. In use though, it does the trick creating smooth curls in a minimum of time. My flex style packet did not come with this particular attachment, so was glad to see this sold separately. Photo shows it next to one of the attachments included with my set, it’s slightly shorter, but maybe the original of this round brush would be also. Just don’t know.
